NxT TakeOver Dallas

Because wrestling is about charisma and story telling not kneeing people in the face 600 times?

Nakamura oozes charisma more than any other wrestler on the planet. The story was perfect. Zayn, defending simultaneously his home turf of NXT and the American style of wrestling, and Nakamura, wanting to make himself a superstar in NXT and present strong style. They're 50/50 - until Zayn starts to start fighting strong style too. Suddenly Nakamura has an answer for everything, because Zayn's good, but he just stepped into the throne room of the fucking king. It costs Zayn the match and he leaves heartbroken.

Where exactly was the "charisma and story" lacking from that?

Tremendous promo package. Talking heads.

And look, the originator of feminism, Stephanie McMahon is here to introduce the (co) main event.

The crowd weren't reacting to what he did, they were reacting to spots they'd seen before and recognised. To me it's pretty clear that he's got over in Japan by being stiff, in the same way that Scott Norton did, and because liking people is infectious, Americans who tuned in liked him too. He did nothing in that match, nothing to actually interact with the crowd. You've all seen the spots before and we're excited I have not, he didn't sell it to me.

He oozes charisma the way Deadpool oozes cool. The way Asuka is looking at Bayley right now is more charismatic and has more presence than anything Nakamura did.

I'm in the minority here, I get it, but I wasn't impressed.

Bayley is just so adorable. Seems like I chick I would actually have a shot at. Well a shot without using some type of date rape mixer.

I'm watching on a delay so don't mind my slightly behind comments. Sami's theme is awesome but I so badly wish it were this:

I'd just start dancing every time he came out.

I'm sorry guy but if you don't think that match featured charisma and story telling, I don't think you know what those words mean.

The man's favorite wrestler is Ultimate Warrior. That's all that needs to be said. I'm sure if Nakamura shook the ropes and was blown up within five minutes that would have been more his style.
