NWO 2.0

The only way this NWO 2.0 would work is:
- Dont call themselves the nWo
- Keep the same theme of a rebellious faction/group
- Come up with a logo and the faction wears the logo
- are able to be dominant.
- MUST have some sort of SURPRISE heel turn

I would keep it Nash, Truth, and Miz to startout as a trio that attacks Triple H and Punk still. If they REALLY wanted to make this something special I would build towards Survivor Series in a "nWo 2.0 vs WWE" match. Start with X-Pac returning to "help" Hunter deal with Nash only to turn on him and join the faction, adding another member... Hunter declares the Survivor Series match of 5 on 5 with Team WWE as Cena, Rock, CM Punk, Air Boom. As they build the new faction can attempt to recruit a 5th member or just go at it 4 on 5 with a surprise turn taking place at the PPV... With that then comes the BIG REVEAL of either Hunter interfering in the match as the 5th Man and brains behind the entire faction or an EPIC Cena Heel turn! Cena makes more sense in that he would be World Champion most likely and having him turn heel in the match and the faction destroying THE ROCK with Cena taking charge would spark great interest and result in a legit face Rock vs heel Cena at Mania... keep in mind when Nash got 'fired" his first tweet was something along the lines of "glad I got to meet you Cena"....

Just a thought but this faction will not make an impact unless they look dominant and gain power through some sort of swerve, whether its Triple H turning heel or the much anticipated Cena turn...

I would love to see Triple H form the New D-Generation X World Order!! Then HHH, Nash, HBK, Hall, and X-Pac can form their version of a “Wolfpac” type of sub-faction called the Clique / Kliq. I’d have him come to the ring and address the WWE Universe. “To all WWE Champions. Join the NDXWO or be stripped of your Championship immediately.” I’d like to see Air Boom and John Cena turn Heel and join, while Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, and Mark Henry refuse, gets stripped of their respective Titles, and turn Face. That would literally flip the WWE Universe upside down and inside out. I’d even have Zach Ryder trying to join with his Internet Title similar to Disco Inferno’s NWO run.

Seriously, no more New World Order talk. I’d love to see the NWO return just as much as everyone else, but there is absolutely nothing “New” about the New World Order. With that being said, however, I sure would love to see the Band back together.

omg just stop with the NWO talk. it was kool when it was around but it should not be brought back. If they do make a new group or stable it shouldnt be called the NWO or anything like that. The only reason the letters NWO are being brought up is because Nash is in the picture. They just need get away from the whole idea or a new NWO. The concept of a new group is good tho, WWE needs a badass heel group

This guy gets it! We are in need of a new bad ass group to root for...in NO WAY should it be the NWO, or DX or NEXUS, or anything we have seen before. Finally the last few weeks have been fun to watch because I knew something was happening but I didn't know what? That felt so good didn't it?

I hope Swagger and Ziggler get on the same page...they could be fun to watch together.

When WWE registered the "Mr. Future Endeavored" TM and what not ---- I hope people realize they may never ever use the name-NEVER. Not for anyone....They just want to own it so anyone they fire in the future cant take use the name or anything similar in a competing company.

Like watching RAW and SD!? GOOD! Tell everyone you know and tell them they should too!

I think that we're going to see the formation of some sort of faction made up of "former" WWE employees like Nash, Miz & Truth and wrestlers "currently part of the roster" who are dissatisfied with how Triple H has been "running the company". I don't know that it'll actually be a return of the nWo, however. Thus far, the biggest "indicators", if you wanna call them that, of an nWo return are Kevin Nash himself and him coming out to the old nWo entrance theme.

I could see Vince McMahon leading a faction of guys who've felt Triple H's wrath since he's been COO. It'd also be a good way to just turn some wrestlers heel and give them something of a fresh start.

As far as a potential "Team WWE vs. Team nWo" match at Survivor Series goes, it holds possibilities. I'd rather see Team WWE take on Team nWo with Team nWo being made up of a lot of younger guys and for Team WWE to give these guys a rub instead of some sort of "dream match" scenario featuring a ton of current & former WWE veterans.

If there is a new nWo - Miz, Truth & Punk w/ Nash as a body guard would be a great team for it.

Imagine the propaganda promos Miz, Truth & Punk could deliver?

A few questions...

Why Alberto del Rio? He's been given every opportunity imaginable this year, despite having the WWE title taken away from him. I just don't think guys like Miz and R-Truth that are sick of people like del Rio getting their spots being too happy about his being in the group. But whatever... The real question is, why would CM Punk ever be on the same team with Triple H, John Cena, or the Rock? I mean, he could play along with finally being on the team with the big guys... But what about all the "status quo" junk? Punk wants things to change, would he be on the NWO?

Except...not really. Because the NWO signifies bringing in the old, not the new. Especially with Nash on board. I just don't see this panning out and making sense, or drawing well without Punk on the NWO's side. Punk isn't Hogan in the late 90s. THe shirts and spray paint gimmick is only going to work for so long before it, like the DX reunion before it, fizzles into something pathetic.

He also stated that he loved the WWE. Despite its problems he loves the place. So as someone who loves the company he would do whatever it takes to help it, even if it means teaming up with guys he doesn't like.

Act like this potential faction is a legit threat to the WWE. You can play it off as these 4 guys putting their egos, personal beefs and differences aside for 1 night for the sake of the company. Add in a 5th guy to play "peacekeeper".

Like Vince said, sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards. The so-called new generation of stars hasn't worked out. Ratings, buyrates and attendance are evidence. If they were to bring back the nWo it could not only bring some life to a stale, simplistic and safe product, it could make names for a few people and give them fresh starts. BTW, who says you need Punk as the new Hollywood Hogan?

Bringing back dead factions isn't something that will help this storyline get out of the complicated mess that it's in right now. This started with Punk acting as a leader and speaking up against management, detailing issues he has that many others share but can't properly express. Hence the "Voice of the Voiceless" nickname. Now, it's totally changed to become a struggle for control, with Punk mixed up in the middle and throwing in occasional jabs every now and then. We should be trying to get back in the original direction and put the focus back on Punk, rather than creating another powerful entity that wants more power. Plus, The Miz and R-Truth have already established their own identities as superstars. There's no reason to have them go all nWo and abandon their own individual personalities to become sidekicks to Nash. Just a really bad idea all around for several reasons.

I have to disagree.

They certainly could use the N.W.O. angle to help more than hurt this situation. This wouldn't be about Hogan, Hall, and Nash (if we were ever lucky enough to get even 2 out of the 3 of them) prancing around spray painting everything. This would be about a hostile takeover from a group that everyone recognizes.

Using Nash and anyone else from the previous group to set the ground work, but having the group itself be run by and elevated by the new guys would work just fine. The reason people believe it won't is they think something ridiculous would happen like Nash using the N.W.O. to try to get himself over.

That would never happen. I'd be far more concerned that they use it (or whatever take over group angle they wind up choosing), and not go far enough with it to get anyone over.

But a heel group when Nash is in it will always be compared to the nWo. So why not go ahead and make it the nWo. Just do it differently and make them corporate types.
