New Wrestling DVDs

My brother just bought me 2 wrestling dvds: The History of the World Heavyweight Championship and The History of the Intercontinental Championship. I'm very much looking forward to watching these dvds. Anything I should look out for on these dvds? Also, is the Intercontinental dvd just matches?

The IC title DVD is very good. Yes, it is all matches, but there's a brief back story of who the champion was at the time before each match, and there's a brief history on the origins of the IC title match before the DVD starts. But no, there isn't any entire disc that's just a documentary.

I was thinking about picking up the history of the WHC DVD, but with most WWE DVDs, the matches are not to my liking. But still, I might go out and buy it.

I got the 3rd disc of the World Title DVD. I liked the matches on the DVD. Especially the HHH vs. RVD. RVD mocks HHH at the beginning, mini mark out by me at 6 A.M

The documentary part of the WHC DVD isn't exactly accurate. They skip over a lot of important things and basically bury WCW and somehow try to tie the WHC to the NWA's lineage. But the match list isn't too bad.

IC is great. It's kind of a documentary but really more just a timeline.

My order from ROH finally came in yesterday (ordered it on Black Friday).

I got Return Engagement (rematch of the Briscoes vs. MCMG), Night of the Butcher II (Necro vs. Jimmy Jacobs, no DQ), and Glory By Honor VIII (Danielson and Nigel's last show in the company). I'll get around to watching Glory By Honor VIII sometime this week (I'll do a full review of the show, in fact), but I'm not sure when I'll get around to seeing the other two. All look like great shows, though.

Just got "Before They Were Stars: CM Punk" in the mail yesterday. Haven't watched it yet. Gotta finish watching Lockdown 2005.
