I remember hearing a few months ago that a new MK movie was in the works. I've been looking around recently and found that there is definitely one coming out in 2010, just cant find out who's in it or what its about, I've heard that its supposed to be the 1st one redone and I've heard its just a continuation of the other 2. Also heard of rumors that Christopher Lambert will play Raiden again.
So without an official cast announced who would you use based on the first 2 films??
Heres my picks
Liu Kang - Id keep Robin Shou but its been 12 yrs since the last movie so if you go with
someone new then Id say B.J. Penn if he could act
Johnny Cage - Jason Statham, this has him written all over it
Sonya Blade - Rebecca Romijn, I think she looks a lot the character already and she has
experience playing a role like this with the X-men movies
Raiden - if its not Lambert again, now dont rip me to hard for this but maybe throw Steven
Segal the spot, Raiden always seemed like an older wiser type person, who better
than monotone talking Segal
Princess Kitana - would be a perfect with Gina Carano, definitely would just have to give
her some extensions and make her a tanner which would make her that
much hotter!!
Kano - Matt Schulze, he played Vince in The Fast and Furious, He looks just like Kano
Shang Tsung - Chow Yun Fat, after his make up in Pirates 3 he reminded me of a bald
scrubby Shang Tsung.
Jaxx - Im torn betwen LL cool J and Terry Crews, if Bobby Lashley knew how to act he
would be great for the part.
Shao Kahn - Vin Diesel, has the build for it
Now as for Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reptile I dont have a clue nor do I think its that important who plays them since they are basically masked characters and didnt really have
speaking parts in the previous movies.
