Occasional Pre-Show
Hello , I just want you all to know I am not a big fan of the legacy but at last weeks raw i found some thing interesting . RKO has always bragged that there will be a 4th member and last week it kind of hinted it may not be true but i think it will be good . The 4th member is .....Chavo !!
w8 dont get fierd up , look at it this way chavo is a 3d generation star he had a good mid card run but never exceded or been so over with the crowed and he has the wrestling skill and some mic skill but he doesnt have the crowed , maybe joining the legacy is what he needs . It makes since last weeks on raw vickie was so in legacys side which was kind of weird but after that segment with chavo and vicki last week it kind of makes since , you see rko and chavo are working together were chavo is controlling vicki and making here help rko and in return chavo gets to join the legacy . what do you think ?
I know its weird but they can give it a try and I prefer seeing chavo in there than another daddies boy like ted and cody . I would be so pissed if they signed ric flairs son to be the 4th member that would make my day :dark2: lol
any way what do you think of chavo ? and who would you replace him with ?

I like Chavo, but I think they need more of an enforcer type in the Legacy. As for Vickie, she is already dealing with helping out the Big Show, so I don't think it would make any sense for her to get involved with Orton.

As for a 4th member, hmmm, I dont know. Umaga is on Smackdown, DH Smith is apparently going to ECW with Kidd and Natalya. At this point, the best bet looks to be to keep the Legacy as it is. Since Orton has the title, I don't think it would make much sense to be searching for another member.

I couldn't see Chavo becoming a member of Legacy at this point. Don't get me wrong, Chavo could make a FINE addition to Legacy. His wrestling skills are superb, and his mic isn't lacking. Chavo's problem is, and always will be Eddie Gurrerro. He can't live up to the expectations Eddie set for the Gurrerro name. So WWE did the worst possible thing to him, made him a comedian, jobber, and a lackey to Vickie. Theres no pulling out of a slump like that. If he can, hes the greatest superstar ever to grace the ring. No doupt.

Now as for your forth member of Legacy. It wont be Ric Flair's son. Hes recently been arrested charged with a DUI, and they found heroine in his car. So...You do the math. Personally, I think Legacy is fine where they are at, if there will be another superstar added I think it will be more along the lines of someone like, Ted's little brother, Bret Dibiase. Possibly DH Smith if that whole Hart Foundation doesn't work out. Umaga (not sure what generation superstar he is, but I know hes from a large wrestling family) would be a nice edition in becoming an enforcer type character. Letting him guard Randy, while the other two pursue more of a tag team career, a bit of singles, while keeping their noses in Randy's business.

Someone else I wouldn't mind seeing join Legacy would be the Million Dollar Man, Ted Dibiase. He would put the team over greatly. His mic skills are phenominal. We know he can manage someone as we've seen him do it in the past. We are talking MEGA heat will be brought by this man alone. I think his only cause would be to help Rhodes/Dibiase get over/stay over though. Rhodes/Dibiase keep working for Orton as they are, yet they still have the help they need when it comes to the tag team division, to give them a more, unfair advantage so to speak. Just like Orton has. The only problem would really be is when its time to turn face, Legacy would lose too much power than if they left Orton/Dibiase/Rhodes as they are, and Million Dollar Man could quite possibly overshadow Orton himself to be honest.

Superstars to be looked at for the duration of Legacy, if they continue the 2nd-3rd generation superstar trend. , Umaga, Rey mysterio, (which has no real reason to get involved) Chavo Guerrero, Carlito, Primo Colon, DH Smith, and Natalya, just to name a few. Overall though, I believe they should leave it as it is. Unless they can get the Million Dollar Man himself to come help put the team over, leave it, Legacy is nearly perfect.

See the way I see Chavo's interaction being is that of Disco Inferno with the NWO in WCW, trying to do everything he can to get into the group, using his family relation to Vickie to do favours for Legacy. He's been booked as a comedy jobber, and that's a hard squat to get out of. He had some great matches with CM Punk as ECW champion, the problem is that after that he's not really done much and he was squashed by Kane. He needs to rebuild some credibility. We know he's good in the ring and on the mic, and sure he isn't Eddie but he's still one hell of an athlete, and I believe he should get a push whether its with Legacy or not.

Would it really matter?

Chavo is a terrible add to a group that is supposed to be dominant, but in reality they are anything but. Non wrestler Shane McMahon seems to be able to take on all three members and hang in there which cuts their credibility. But also, as I've said many many times, Legacy simply looks weak. Rhodes and DiBiase are portrayed as followers and really are add ons, they aren't booked to be anything more. They are both good wrestlers and DiBiase seems to have a star look to him but I can't recall a memorable match or any at all where they really looked dominant. Legacy is less of a stable and more 2 dudes who follow Ortan and do whatever he says. For them to really become credible they're going to have to step it up here...and Chavo is not the way to do it.

i would say horn swoggle lol just kidding seriously my pic would be joe henning from fcw hes a 2nd genration superstar he is a great athlete i would be dissapointed if it was chavo cause chavo would be the bait of the team he would do all the dirty work and he would be in there for about a month then orton would punt him and kick him out if it was joe henning it would be awsome so wwe and legacy dony dissapoint the fans

i don't think they'll add anyone to be honest, but if they do it'll be shane mcmahon. it'll be horrible, predictable, and just take away any rep these guys might have attained from the whole legacy thing. also on chavo joining, i thought legacy wasn't as much about 2nd or 3rd generation wrestlers, but about the new breed of these older guys. the youngsters living on their dads reputation out to prove themselves worthy, or am i missing the point? i also don't get why there is so much hype about them. they're very good, no doubt, but they really haven't been a stable for THAT long. give them a chance.

on a side note, i really hope they pull the new heart foundation off. i've liked seeing dh smith when he's fought but he needs that charisma which even bret hart and both of the british bulldogs lacked at first, but grew into, so i think a tag team would be a great placing for him. maybe work them in as legacy's allies perhaps?

Chavo has always been 3rd rate to me. well maybe 2nd rate, but thats just because i was never an Eddie fan growing up but still liked him wayyy more than Chavo ever. he has nothing that really stands out about him to make him even worth looking at, he's honestly "Virgil" status right now and thats basically all he's good for.. i wouldnt mind just seeing him tagging along with Vickie acting like he's running that show and having an occasional match...

if he can win titles by cheating and using his leverage i'd think that'd be the best route for him.. if its on the up and ups and he's having straight up matches with people, he's just a high priced jobber in my eyes.

I love Chavo but they've been treating him like a complete joke for a few years now. In order for him to join Legacy he'd need to be treated like a credibly threat to other wrestlers. That'd be a huge turn around. I'd love to see him getting his due respect but I just don't see it happening.

The fourth member will probably be a bigger guy. I know it's a silly thing to reference but Legacy said in the latest WWE magazine that they were looking to add some muscle. I'm just not sure who that'd be with DH on ECW.

It's too bad that Jesse is the guy with heritage and not Festus. If it was Festus then maybe Orton could punt the 'tard out of him. >_>

Yea, I was thinking that it might be Chavo too.
It could help pull him out of this slump that he's been in since Eddie passed away.
Does anyone remember the "Kerwin White" character, oh gosh, that was soooooooo stupid.

Someone mentioned earlier that the group looks weak, and I have to agree. They need a muscle guy, an "Enforcer", if you will, instead of just a bunch of sneaky guys with speech impediments. Of the options posted on here, Umaga seems to be the one that fits (apparently Manu wasn't good enough), but his gimmick won't really allow for it. Imagine Legacy walking slowly down to the ring to Voices while Umaga screams and beats his stomach. Anyway, are there any 2nd or 3rd generation stars that are like Umaga (or more with a Batista build) to act as an Enforcer for the group? I honestly have no idea, but the group doesn't need more "pretty boys", which Tyson Kidd would bring to the table (although he kinda fits with them in the way he carries himself). If Goldust/Dustin Rhodes wasn't such a sad sight to look at, he could almost do it, but I'd much rather prefer someone like Batista, or had John Laurainaitis' son chose wrestling over the NFL draft, someone like that, billed as muscle.

I agree that I don't see Chavo joining Legacy I think knowing WWE it is entirely possible. I would rather see Santino/Santina put to rest after JD and perhaps a Santino face turn and a feud with Chavo.

As for the Million Dollar man joining Legacy...doubtful as Ted is rumored to go face. I'd like see Ted Sr. coming out and telling Ted Jr. that Legacy is holding him back and go face with his son as his manager. Brett can replace him in Legacy going against his family.

Umaga would fit the bill since he is the nephew of the Wild Samoans, however since so far he's just shouted jibberish I'm not sure whether he'd even be aware in kayfabe that he was part of the group, plus it seems that he will be working a programme with CM Punk after attacking him.
