NBA playoffs 2009

Khalifa

Where it at doe?
Since I know noone will post in the sport section because they are the lazy, I decided to post the thread here because then people can do there one sentence post.

Anyways Cavs and Pistons tonight/tomorrow will be a big one. The pistons will look to get reputation while the Cavs will show why they should be NBA champs. Cavs will win in a very close game.

Meh....Pistons suck this year, Celtics aren't going anywhere with Garnett, they're struggling against the Bulls and that's not a good sign. Really it boils down to the Cavs and the Lakers in the finals. Cavs are pretty much guranteed to get into the finals the way they've been playing, but the Lakers could get upset by the right team, but I don't see it happening. San Antonio is getting old and without Manu, they're not going far. Dallas is intriguing, but they have to get past San Antonio first to do anything, and I'm not sure they can. Rockets and Blazers are a toss up, though I"m not sure how far either will be able to go. Nuggets I see going to the Western Conference Finals, but I don't think they can take out L.A.

Eastern Conference wise, Orlando is in trouble if they keep choking, Philly has an excellent chance for the upset win in that series. Cavs will handle Detroit easily, I think Atlanta will be able to handle Miami, Wade is the only player for the Heat that can cause any worry in Atlanta. Checking ESPN.com now, it looks like Leon Powe is done for the season for Boston. So now the Celtics lost another post player, and are now down to only Perkins and Davis, this is not good, I have a feeling that they may be upset by Chicago now, unless Pierce decides to take over and Allen starts hitting shots.

Go Celts!! Though I agree with the above poster, they have a tough road ahead of them, bad enough losing Garnett but Powe as well may be too much to overcome.

Non-wrestling spam threads = bar room.

Yeah I know but since the playoffs are happenining everyday I decided to make it life discussion.

Go Spurs!!!!

:lmao: I bet Roger Mason fucks up for you guys.

Go Magic!!! I know we choked it away in the 4th quarter, but Dwight Howard couldn't see. We got this in 5 games.

Orlando choked but could easily take out the Cavs because how can they stop both Lewis and Howard?

Powe is to small to do anything as a PF, he also isn't smart enough. But I just read Garnett was training in full uniform today.

Anyways Lakers are dominating the Jazz now, Kobe 7 assists before the end of the second half and with only 8 points. Now that is a true MVP ( even tho he doesn't deserve it).

Indeed, i think he holds the record now for most 3's in a Denver playoff game. I see a better game for Jr Smith and Anderson more then Anthony.

Yeah he does now own the record. JR Smit is a beast and will defently do a great job but I don't know about Anderson. Anderson seems pretty incosistent to me, but to me Anthony will need to make a impact in this game.

Hopefully the Jazz play better at home. They've been a huge disappointment for me thus far.

Anyway, Atlanta Hawks FTW.

people the Cavs and Lakers are storming through the competition. beating their teams by 10 points or more each time. something tells me this is the Cavs and James year for the ship.

The Cavs will have some serious problems if they end up meeting the Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals. Mark my words.

Also, the Hawks won't roll over and die, either. That's another team the Cavs will have trouble with because there's no stopping their transition. The Cavs will have to beat the Hawks and Bulls at the Hawks and Bulls own game. It won't be the other way around like it would if they face Philly, Boston, or Orlando.
