N.E.W. - New Era of Wrestling

(Last Update: Monday, September 1, 2008)

New Era of Wrestling
(N.E.W.)

History:
April 1, 2008 - WrestleMania 24: After the main event, Vince McMahon walked down to the ring without any music. He announced that he has sold the company to Donald Trump. The fans boo'd like crazy, but he assured them he was still in control, he just didn't own the company..

April 5, 2009 - WrestleMania 25: It was no secret that Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon were having problems behind the scenes.. It had gotten to the point where Shawn was nearly fired. Only when Donald Trump stepped in was his job saved and the fighting sort of died down afterwards.. At WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels was in a retirement match, booked against Triple H. Shawn was set to win the match, but Vince instructed the refferee to speed up his count. After a second pedigree, the ref counted sped up his count between 2 and 3, throwing Michaels timing off and he kicked out late. Michaels career was seemingly over. After the main event, Mr. McMahon interupted Shawn during his impromptu farewell speech. He had Shawn's microphone turned off. As he was about to utter his two favorite words, Donald Trump's music hit. He was irate. On the spot, he fired Vince and started to clean out the WWE.

April 6, 2009 - RAW: Donald Trump scheduled a four hour timeslot on NBC and played WrestleMania on free TV. It was announced at the beginning and the end of the show that there were drastic changes taking place in the WWE, but a wrestling would take place in seven days on NBC.

(New Era of Wrestling will begin on Monday, April 13, 2009.)

I LOVE the backstory. The donald trump part is a bit miffy but the screwjob bit is very well done. But the roster is a bit miffy as well-I mean Brock Lesnar in wrestling again?AJ and Gail Kim?Is TNA Dead of something?Other than that pretty good and a nice layout.

Thanks! I'll post my first show some time tomorrow. My roster is very changable, right now. That's not set in stone. And Trump will not be running things. I got something clever there too! It'll be fun, seeing which of us can do better. Maybe we'll pump some life back into Book This!

Edit: Now that I think about it, I'm going to drop Kim and Lesnar.. I don't feel like using them.. May make a few more changes. And no, TNA is not dead. He persuaded TNA to let AJ come over with lots of money. XD

(OOC: This is a little rough. I didn't have much time.. I'm going to edit in something at the end.. So, enjoy.. Feedback is appreciated..)

New Era of Wrestling: Takedown #1 from San Antonio, Texas (4/13/09)

<Fireworks play in the packed arena. The fans go nuts, everyone standing. Donald Trump's music plays and he saunters to the ring, holding a microphone. The crowd pops. He is wearing an almost goofy smile on his face and he starts to talk.>

Donald Trump: "Thank you very much, San Antonio, for that warm welcome.."

<The crowd pops again.>

Donald Trump: "Now, I am sorry to say that some of the superstars in the back have indeed left.. They were loyal to that asshole, Vince McMahon. We're going to be missing John Cena, Triple H, and Batista, for a while, around here."

<The crowd boos heavily, some actually throwing things into the ring.>

Donald Trump: "Hold up, now, though.. We've gotten some good talent.. Do you people know who AJ Styles is?"

<You can hear several women screaming..>

Donald Trump: "And do you remember Booker T? He's back! Can you dig that, Sucka?!"

<"Booker! Booker!" is chanted..>

Donald Trump: "Even better.. Kurt Angle! The Olympic Gold Medalist.. The Wrestling Machine is back! Oh it's true!"

<The roof is blown off the place.. Donald has to wait a minute before it is quiet enough to talk.>

Donald Trump: "Now, obviously, I can't run a wrestling promotion very well. So, I need someone who can.."

<He pauses for a little while.>

Donald Trump: "Think of it this way.. I'm letting somebody, or a few somebodys, have 49 percent control of my company...

Jim Ross!"

<The crowd pops again; everyone respects J.R. He stands and walks into the ring, taking a microphone with him.>

Jim Ross: "Yes, sir?"

Donald Trump: "JR, you are the new, head general manager.. I am officially awarding you twenty four percent control of this company.. That means everyone around here answers to you, besides me."

<J.R. looks surprised. He is unable to speak. Donald shakes his hand and Jim goes to sit down again.>

Donald Trump: "And twenty three percent control goes to.."

<Ted Dibiase Sr.'s music hits and the crowd gives a mixed reaction. He walks into the ring and shakes Trump's hand.>

Donald Trump: "That leave two percent, though. Now, JR and Ted may disagree.. This next man will be able to side with either one. If JR wants one thing, and Ted another, this man chooses who gets their way."

<Santino Marella comes out through the curtain and his music starts playing.. He acts like he has won an oscar.>

Santino Marella: "Thank-a-you Donald Trump.."

Ted Dibiase: "No talking, Santana!"

Santino Marella: "Santino!"

Donald Trump: "Quiet..! Tonight, we will have a thiry man, over the top rope, battle royal to crown a new heavyweight champion.. Royal Rumble rules.. This is a new era of wrestling.. Welcome to Monday Night Takedown."

<His music plays and Donald Trump walks to the back, followed by Ted Dibiase and Santino.>

<Vladimir Koslov entered the ring first, for the battle royal, followed by Paul London. Jim Ross went backstage and was replaced by Michael Cole.>

Angle ducks under and executes an Olympic Slam on Regal. He locks in the ankle lock afterwards. Punk is up, now, hits a running knee on Angle. Regal tries to stand, but falls back down. Edge picks Regal up and hits him with an impaler ddt, then pulls him up by the hair and chucks him over the top rope and to the floor.

William Regal eliminated

Randy Orton is next in. He hits an RKO on Edge immediately, then assists Angle in throwing Punk out.

Paramedics take Shawn to the back. Paul Birchill hits the ring, but it quickly disposed of by Angle.

Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr. enter at the same time, obviously as a favor from the Million Dollar Man. They start to stomp on Angle and Orton. Jericho locks in the Walls on Edge who starts to tap again. Jeff Hardy enters next and is met by Jericho. Hardy dominates early, until Edge clubs him from behind. He and Jericho beat down on him. Team Priceless is focused on Orton while Angle rests. Mr. Kennedy hits the ring. He is all over Angle. Jeff Hardy is knocked over the top rope by Jericho and Edge.

N.E.W. Insider

Shawn Michaels done?

Shawn Michaels suffered a concussion on Takedown, this week, after a boot to the head from Montel VOontavious Porter and an RKO from Randy Orton. As of now it appears to be quite serious. There is no estimate on how long he will be out.

Former Champion Returns

A source close to Jim Ross has informed us that a former WWE champion has been signed and will appear on Takedown this next week.

The Big Show?

It is rumored that the Big Show was one of the superstars that left the company after McMahon's firing. Whether or not this is true is yet to be found out.

Kurt Angle.. Champion!

Kurt Angle bested 29 other men in an over the top rope battle royal for the N.E.W. World Heavyweight Championship this past week on Takedown. What is in store for our new champion next Monday?

Very nice show. But I'm going to warn you about something-writing full matches reports may get you tired of Book This! Thats why I do recaps and such.

However I'm not the boss.Your opening promo with Santino and co was very well done. And the battle royale was pretty good.Battle royales are always pretty hard to write so good on ya.

I'm still better :p

Eh, I wrote that show in an hour.. I only wrote the full match because it would kind of suck to just write a short recap of a thrity man BR.. I didn't intend on doing that, it sort of just happened.. I intended to put more, but I had to post it quickly to avoid getting an infraction. My next show will be better, trust me. I agree, that at the moment, your show bests mine. We'll see, though, later.

DJ is right, writing the while thing ain't neccessary because people will get bored of it anyway and won't read the whole thing.

I like your story anyhow, it was great and very original. A bit strange though to be honest.

With writing matches, it is better to tell the story of the match than to write the actual matches, that way you can build fueds up and tell us how the matches are being controlled.

Also not sure why Sexy Boy played "again", I may have missed something. Oh wellm none the less good show.

Like I said, I am not planning on writing out full matches. But how do you summarize a battle royal without just listing the order of elimination. That would have been boring. My story is very strange, but atleast it's different.

And Shawn was never eliminated, but he was taken to the back because he had like a concussion.. You know how Shawn would come back out anyway..

Breaking News!

Rest.. In.. Peace..
It is a sad day in wrestling, today. One of the greatest, most storied careers of our time has met its end. Due to multiple head injuries suffered on Takedown this past week, the Undertaker has officially announced his retirement.

Jim Ross had this to say, "It's sad, seeing one of the all time greats go.. Wherever you are, Deadman.. Rest in peace.."

We, here at N.E.W. Insider hope the same. Rest in peace, Undertaker.. Rest in peace..

I am enjoying reading your shows.... Very well put together and thought out. I'm still brand new to writing these shows so I'm not sure what to do..

I like this though.

Wow, that was sheer awesome. Keep up the good work. Very neatly and intelligently written. Sam likes. Oh, and thanks for making Angle the new world champion. I'll be keeping track of this, that's for sure.

Breaking News! Shawn Michaels to retire!
Today, Jim Ross announced that Shawn Michaels will indeed retire.. "It is a very sad week in wrestling. The Undertaker has announced his retirement already, and now Shawn Michaels is doing the same. Michaels suffered very severe concussions after two high-impact moves delivered by M.V.P. and Randy Orton. This, coupled with his knee and back problems, was too much for even the Heart Break Kid to overcome. Monday will be a tribute show for two of the all-time greats. Thank you.."

We here, at N.E.W. Insider, would like to wish Shawn, and Taker, the best in what ever they do next. Take a vacation, fellas, you've earned it.

Champion returning?
It was reported earlier this week that one former WWE Champion would be returning this week on Takedown. It has just been reported that is false. No former WWE Champion has been signed.

I'm not really enjoying the way your writing out your legends.I mean Taker has taken MAJOR bumps over the years and suddenly he's retiring? It has to go on a news report and not TV?Same with Shawn as well.Bit sad really.....But still you have a loyal reader. Also -

HBK AND TAKER ARE ALL MINE!BAWH HA HA HA HA!

DJ, Edge was extra brutal on Taker. And a major concussion isn't something Shawn could really prevent. They both have taken major bumps and that only adds to why they are retiring. Anyway, I needed some way to get them off my roster for now. I am really trying hard to get people like Punk and Kendrick and Morrison into the main event scene, so I need to not have guys like Shawn and Taker.

Wow, this is looking good, the depth is nice, the story is original. I like how you've got rid of two legends in the business, as though you're not scared of being that bit controversial. I think what would have been better is if you didn't include these two at all, I mean why retire them both after the first show?

Looking forward to the next one though! Keep it up!

Yes your ideas are still good. I think that people need to be focusing more on the shows than the WWE.com / wrestlezone.com -esk things they have going. But that is just my opinion.

I remember what I was going to say before as well, your roster. Now, rosters are all good in my book ... and definately useful so people know who is working for you. What I was going to say about your roster is you actually tell us what level the people are on. Like, ME, mid-card etc etc. I think you should be able to figure that by reading it.

If people can't keep absolute track of it then you may need to cut down on the roster. I mean there is nothing wrong with what you are doing, I just think that it's not neccessary.

Very good job Matt. I love your roster, it makes it really intresting to read and follow. Keep up the good work. I like reading the results and cards. Very intresting..Looking forward to some more results.

New Era of Wrestling: Takedown #2 From Austin, Texas (4/20/09)

<N.E.W. Takedown opens with a hard-hitting, fast paced video package, showcasing all of the stars on the roster. Backstage, the camera is fixed on Jim Ross’ door. A blonde-haired woman steps in front of the door and knocks. A few people in the crowd cheer, but not many. Jim Ross opens the door and welcomes her in. The woman walks in and you can now see a red-haired woman sitting on a couch. The camera turns to face Jim Ross, for a moment, but then switches back to the women. They are standing nose to nose. The camera gets closer and you can see that the women are Trish Stratus and Lita! In the arena, everyone explodes with cheers. They stare at each other for a few moments, then Lita pushes past Trish and walks out of the room.>

<In the arena, fireworks explode and Michael Cole welcomes everyone to the show. He and King tell the audience at home that Torrie Wilson, Maria, Mickie James, Katie Lea Birchill, Natalya, Beth Pheonix, Victoria, and Melina will be having a bikini contest, next.>

<N.E.W.’s theme hits and all Divas make their way to the ring. Torrie Wilson is first to take off her robe. She gets a huge pop her her itty-bitty, tinie-winnie, yellow, polka dot bikini. Maria is next. She gets an equal reaction for her shiny, red number. Next, Melina starts to remove her robe. After teasing everyone a little, she stops and grabs a microphone. Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Katie Lea, and Mickie James stand beside her.>

Melina: We’re supposed to be out here to show all of you people our lovely, sexy bodies..

<Natalya shakes her head and Beth crosses her arms as the crowd cheers.>

Melina: I’ve talked to Beth, Nattie, Kate, and Mickie.. We’ve agreed! We are no longer divas! We are women’s competitors.. Women’s wrestlers..

<The crowd boos.. Mickie takes the mic.>

Mickie James: We are more than pretty faces!

<The crowd boos again. Beth speaks up.>

Beth Phoenix: We can wrestle circles around your.. Divas.. Torrie and Maria are nothing.. Nothing but ****s!

<Torrie leaps at Beth, but Katie Lea and Natalya beat her down. Maria looks on, scared. Torrie stands no chance as all five ladies beat down on her. A laugh plays throughout the arena and everyone goes nuts. “Time to Rock and Roll” hits and Trish Stratus walks onto the ramp, a Women’s Championship belt over her shoulder. The beat down stops. Everyone watches as Trish makes her way to the ring. Beth is going to speak, but Trish hits her in the face and takes the mic. Beth lunges, but the others hold her back. Trish starts to speak, but stops. The audience won’t quiet down. She smiles and bows slightly.>

Trish Stratus: Glad to see me?

<”Trish! Trish! Trish!”>

Trish Stratus: I’ll take that as a yes. Now, you ladies think that these beautiful gals are only pretty faces? You’re wrong.

<The five, now, heel, ladies are angry, obviously. Natalya gets another microphone.>

Natalya: There are six of us, Trish.. And only you with Torrie and that idiot Maria!

<Trish goes to speak, again, but another person’s music hits.. It’s Lita’s! She pops as loud as Trish. Lita makes her way into the ring quickly. Trish hands her the mic. The two stare at each other for a while, again. They don’t look like they dislike each other, but more like they respect each other.>

Lita: Wrong, Natalya. There are four of us.

<The non-divas look furious. They attack Trish and Lita, who fight back for a moment. Trish and Lita actually get the upper hand, but the numbers finally kick in and they start to take a beating. Maria and Torrie try to pull all the attackers of Lita and Trish, but can’t. Suddenly, everyone stops. Victoria speaks, but it what she says come as a shock. A hush comes over the crowd, then a thunderous cheer.>

Victoria: You’re wrong Lita. There’s five.

<She leaps into the fray and the ‘good’ divas start to get the upper hand. They dump the ‘bad’ divas out of the ring. Trish and Lita raise Victoria’s, Torrie’s, and Maria’s hands.>

Trish Stratus: Next week.. Battle Royal.. Women’s Championship!

<She drops the microphone and the divas make their exit.>

<Santino comes to the ring..>

Santino Marella: Hello, Austin.. I am-a Santino Marella.. The Milan Miracle..

<He gets major heat..>

Santino Marella: Kurt Angel, get-a your butt down here!

<After a short wait, Angle’s music hits and he walks to the ring, title around his waist. He enters the ring and spins around on one foot, arms extended out. He is getting major love from the fans.>

Santino Marella: Now.. Kurt Angel! I am-a two percent owner of this company. Oh it is true! It is damn true.

<Kurt just laughs.>

Santino Marella: I am also the greatest superstar that the New Era of-a Wrestling ever has seen! Oh it is so true.. I command you, Kurt Angel, to hand-a me over your N.E.W. championship, or I will open a can of ass-whip so big…!

Kurt Angle: Whatcha’ gonna do, Santa-ana?

<Kurt gets in his face..>

Santino Marella: My name is Santino Marella! Not Santa-ana! But, I am owner here and I say give me your title belt or I will take it by-a force!

Kurt Angle: Are you sure about that?

Santino Marella: Yes!

Kurt Angle: Well, I just came from Jim Ross’ office and he told me that you can’t do that.. So, no, I won’t give you my belt.. You going to try and take it, Santa-maria?

Santino Marella: It is Santi-.. Kurt, you asked for it. I will open a can of ass-whip.. I warned you..

<Santino goes to clothesline Kurt, but the Wrestling Machine ducks and hits an Olympic Slam on the Itallian Stallion. His music plays again and he exits. Santino stumbles to the back as CM Punk’s music hits.. CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, AJ Styles, The Brian Kendrick, Paul London, Jimmy Wang Yang, Evan Bourne, and Carlito makes their way to the ring. The N.E.W. Lightweight Championship is hung above the ring. Lillian announces a ladder match for the Lightweight Championship.>

Match One: 8-Man Ladder Match for the N.E.W. Lightweight Championship

<This match was fast paced and exciting and rather long. It was filled with huge spots that made the crowd go ‘Ooooooooh’.. The crowd was behind Mysterio and Styles throughout, while Kendrick and Punk were drawing a ton of heat. Evan Bourne took himself and Jimmy Wang Yang out of the match early. He set up a thirty foot ladder in the ring and hit a beautiful shooting star press on Wang Yang, through a table, on the outside. The finish saw Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles work together to take out all the competition, then they climbed the ladder and started to go at it. The Brian Kendrick took out Paul London with The Kendrick as Carlito met a G2S from CM Punk. Punk climbed up after AJ and pulled him down. Kendrick pulled a new ladder into the ring. He ran at the ladder that was set up and hit it with his. It fell and Punk and Mysterio straddled the ropes. Kendrick set up his ladder and pulled the belt down to become the new Lightweight Champion.>

Winner and the new N.E.W. Lightweight Champion: The Brian Kendrick

<The Brian Kendrick celebrates in the ring as all the other participants make their way to the back. Kendrick is drawing major heat. He finally heads to the back. Umaga’s music hits and he walks to the ring, followed by Kozlov. Next, you hear a mix of MVP’s and Shelton Banjamin’s music. They are about to start a match, but Kofi Kingston’s music hits. He gets a huge pop. Every kid in the audience does the “Boom! Boom! Boom!” thing with him. He then sprints into the ring and leaps at Koslov. They start to brawl. Security has to come out to separate them. They are taken to the back. Team Ballin’ is clearly happy they have to only face Umaga. That isn’t the case though, because Ted Dibiase’s music hits. He comes onto the ramp, mic in hand, Santino behind him.>

Ted Dibiase Sr: Now, as you all know, three weeks from now, we have our first pay-per-view.. Right now, we’re going to have a match.. It’s going to be Team Ballin’, against.. THE HARDY BOYZ!

<Team Ballin’ is not happy, but all the fans are.>

Ted Dibiase Sr: The winner will face two other teams, here on Takedown, in two weeks, to determine who is in the Tag Team Championship match on Sunday, May 10, at Revolution!

<MVP goes for a mic, clearly upset, but The Hardyz music hits. Umaga makes his way to the back, as do Ted and Santino. The Hardyz hit the ring.>

Match Two: Team Ballin’ vs The Hardy Boyz

<This match was very, very good. The Hardyz had great fan support behind them, where as Team Ballin’ was getting the most heat of the night. The Hardyz dominated early, but Jeff accidentally bumps Matt off the apron after botching a Whisper in the Wind. Shelton takes the upper hand. Later, MVP rakes Matt’s eyes and he accidentally drills Jeff with a huge right hand. Shelton runs in and hits his finisher, the Paydirt, on Matt and pins him for the win as MVP takes care of Jeff. After the match, Matt and Jeff push and shove a little, then head to the back. Is a Hardy Boyz break-up coming?>

Winners: Shelton Benjamin and MVP, Team Ballin’

<Backstage, Kofi Kingston and Vladimir Kozlov are still brawling. Umaga and Carlito are going at it, too. Security tries to break them all up. A pyro explodes and fire shoots up on stage. The arena goes red and Kane comes out. Festus is already in the ring.>

Match Three: Kane vs Festus

<Kane dominated the match. Festus got a few punches it but was put down by a chokeslam after only two minutes.>

Winner: Kane

<Jim Ross walks out to the ring to very loud applause. He starts to talk.>

Jim Ross: Ladies and gentleman.. Our next match will be a number one contenders match for the Kurt Angle’s belt, the N.E.W. World Heavyweight Championship!

<Kurt Angle’s music hits and he makes his way to ringside, where he grabs a chair and sits down in front of the announcers table.>

Jim Ross: The winner of this match, will go on to face Kurt Angle in three weeks at Revolution.. Also, immediately following the match, I will announce the return of one former world champion… It’s 4/20, and trust me, no body gets higher than this man. Then, we will honor two of the greatest superstars to ever lace up a pair of boots. Thank you..

<Jim Ross joins Kurt Angle at ringside and they start to talk. “Kennedyyyy!” Rings throughout the arena and Mr. Kennedy makes his way to the ring for the main event. Booker T comes out next, followed by Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, and finally Edge. The competitors stare each other down for a while, then the bell rings.>

Main Event: Number One Contenders Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Mr. Kennedy vs Edge vs Booker T vs Randy Orton vs Chris Jericho

<Edge and Chris Jericho quickly go at it, obviously carrying their feud from the Battle Royal over to tonight. They take it outside and start to hit each other with foreign objects, since you can’t be disqualified in a five man match. The match was great and all five gave it their all for nearly a half hour. The finish saw Randy Orton take both Kennedy and Booker T with quick RKOs. Jericho goes at him but gets the same treatment. Orton has three guys he can pin, but is suddenly hit by a spear from no where.. Edge covers him and gets the 1..2..3..>

Winner and new number one contender for the N.E.W. World Heavyweight Championship: Edge

<Edge celebrates in the ring, but Jericho gets up and goes after him. They brawl for a while, until Jericho all of a sudden, hits Codebreaker from no where. He stands, arms raised, over Edge. Finally, they head to the back. Jim Ross gets back into the ring as Kurt Angle slips to the back.>

Jim Ross: Ladies and Gentleman, as I promised, no one gets higher than this man.. The newest member of the N.E.W. roster.. ROB… VAN… DAM!!

<The crowd goes nuts. RVD steps onto the ramp. He raises his hands above his head, then does his famous taunt.. The crowd chants along, “Rob! Van! Dam!”.. He slides into the ring and shakes Jim Ross’ hand. He speaks into the mic..>

Rob Van Dam: Next week..

<
He then rolls out of the ring and makes his way to the back, smile on his face. Jim Ross raises the microphone, but then drops it and heads towards the announcer’s table, tears rolling down his cheeks.>

<It is silent for a long time, but then “Sexy Boy” plays throughout the arena.. Shawn Michaels steps slowly onto the ramp, looking both happy and sad. He makes his way to the ring for perhaps the last time. He grabs a microphone.. “Thank You Shawn! Thank You Shawn!”.. Shawn is teary-eyed, already..>

Shawn Michaels: T-.. Thank you.. It’s good to be here, in Texas.. The rest of the guys in the back are getting on a plane and flying to Oklahoma, tonight.. But, I’m here.. I’m home.. And I’m not going anywhere..

<Most people are crying.. Signs of ‘Don’t go, Shawn..’ and ‘We love you, HBK’ are all over..>

Shawn Michaels: I’m.. I’m ready to move on, though.. I am.. It’s great to retire here, in my home state, with my fellow Texan, The Undertaker..

<The lights go out and a familiar ‘Dong’ sounds.. The Undertaker slowly makes his way to the ring. When he removes his hat, you can see tears in his eyes too. Ignoring kayfabe, for a moment, the two greats embrace in the middle of the ring..>

The Undertaker: Shawn said it all.. We have had the two greatest.. Most storied careers in this company.. We were in the WWF before RAW gave its first show and we lasted all the way till now.. It’s time for us to go..

Shawn Michaels: It’s time for new talent to step up and take our place. We’ve both heard things like “The Next Shawn Michaels” and “The Next Deadman”..

The Undertaker: We want to see you younger guys step up and make names for yourself, not follow in our footsteps.. Thank you..

Shawn Michaels: Thank you..

<They start to leave to chants of “Thank you Sha-awn! Thank you Taker!” but music hits. Shawn’s face lights up the the crowd explodes. HHH comes out, clapping. He makes his way to the ring and takes the microphone.. Shawn and Hunter embrace for a long time. Taker stares on. Finally, Trips and the Deadman start to talk quietly. They shake hands, seeming to have settled their differences, then Taker pulls HHH into a hug..>

Triple H: Shawn, Taker.. Thank you.. You two truly are the greatest that this company has ever seen.. Thank you..

<Shawn smiles and shakes his head, obviously disagreeing.>

Triple H: There are a few guys in back that wanted to thank you, as well..

<Kane, Jericho, Cena, Cade, London, Batista, Ted Dibiase Sr., and Jim Ross make their way to the ring. They all hug and talk with Taker and Michaels for a moment. The crowd is really torn up.. There isn’t a dry eye in the arena. The crowd pops huge for Cena and Batista, since they aren’t part of the company any longer..>

Triple H: I called up a few guys two, that you guys are familiar with..

<Mick Foley, Steve Austin, Marty Janetty, Razor Ramon, Ric Flair, The Big Show, and finally Rebecca Hickenbottom, Shawn’s wife. Everyone is teary. They all catch up on old times, especially Marty and Shawn. The ring is crowded. Everyone on the roster floods out of the locker room and stands beside the ring. They clap for Shawn and Taker as a video package plays, showing the best moments of each man’s career. Shawn laughs and smiles when he watches himself lose his smile. Taker apologizes to Foley as they watch Mick be thrown off the cell. The show goes off the air like that, everyone having a good, yet sad, time and chanting “Thank you Shawn! Thank you Taker! Thank you Shawn! Thank you Taker!”>

(I know RVD's thing was short, but he isn't much of a talker. I know Shawn and Taker's ceremony was a lot like Flair's but I tried to change it as much as possible. And no, HHH, Cena, and Batista are not a part of the company. If you see any big errors, let me know.)
