Getting Noticed By Management
Man i just listend to the latest 5150: Real Talk w/ Konnan and i agree completely with Konnan. From what i understand Konnan thinks that wrestling can be more realistic and have simpler storylines that make sense. He talked about more realistic fighting less gimmicks and spots. He said things like valets and gimick matches made no sesnse or didnt need to be used when a simple one on one could be done great and look realistic and have an entertaining factor. I agree with konnan completely wrestling can be realistic and entertaining.
He talked about pole matches and how a pole match with mouse traps in them kinda made no sense i mean really you would just check to see if there was one in it and it would be kinda boring but i think the way it was done was stupid the guy just put his hand straight in like a dumbass and it made the match look really stupid.
HE goes on to talk about Global Impact and how it was just a seroius program with guys just wrestling and giving thier thoughts. There were those style of interviews documentary like with Kurt talking about his opponent how he felt and how he thought the match would go. It has that part were Team 3d (dudleys) go on about how they been to Japan and still feel honoured to wrestle there, it gives your thier perspective straight from them. It had those post match conferences and it made sense you know like how the match went what they feel ect. The matches were just seroius with actual wrestling and none of this dq crap or run in crap.
I mean like Konnan i feel a storyline can be simple for example 2 guys have to battle to be no1 contender simple has a purpose and is effective. No one wants to battle Abyss coz he has won big matchup like he beat the champ in one on one then someone steps up and has a match starting a small rivalry. Come on shit like 2 unlikely parterners actually turn out to be a hell of a team. Shelly and Sabin have to fight an experienced team to prove they are good enuf to be no1 contenders. LAX get the belts and defend the belts each week coz they want to show they have a passion for what they do.
THAT WRESTLING MACHINE KURT ANGLE thing that WWE was going to do sounded amazing it had the backing and build up. Angle is a technical wrestler mat based and the explanation for his fights is that he just goes out to do a job and wrestle he is proving he is the best, none fo this weapons crap just plain old suplexes and holds and those moments were you go fuck did he just do that.
You know TNA could do a thing were Angle just takes on all comers no1 contender after no1 contender and just wrestler, he give his thoughts on how he perfromed and how he feels about being champ who he feels hed like to wrestle ect ect.
You know those interviews they do with the managers and some of the key players after a football match they could do those and i think it would add to the whole experiecne by letting them give thier opinions on the matchand we hear it straight from them, no scripts no drama just plain old wrestlers telling us what they think.
The comentray would have to changfe tho to more of a one guys coments on the moves one guy talks about the match and feud as a whole talk about what guys have done but do commentray on the match not fucking whats up with another feud or another title.
Konnan has experience obviously he isnt a financial genious otherwise hed have a huge wrestling company like WWE but he has knowlegde his experience allows him to know what works and dosnt, what a wrestler is good ant and how to show off skill that is why i like him.
