MVP's ring attire?

I think if MVP get's any kind of push on either brand towards the world title, can he please change his ring attire?

I mean okay prior to his WWE debut a few years ago I had to get use to it. But if MVP is go'in to be a name in the wrestling game, he needs to change his in-ring attire A-SAP! I can dig MVP's gimmick. "PrimeTime" Deion Sanders in the flesh in the WWE. He doesn't look like a power ranger at all. He looks more like he's going scooba diving in the sea instead of looking like a wrestler don't you think?

He needs to wear some trunks or some in-ring pants like HBK's. Enough said.

And as far as his in-ring offense go's. He needs to stop using that big boot. He's not as tall as a Test or somebody who uses that move.

What do you think?

Nah, its fine, especially if they can work in an Under Armour type of sponsorship. no sports brand is hotter right now than Under Armour, and thats what the suit looks a lot like. He also generally had "Protect this ring" going down his sleeve, which is a DIRECT take from the UA commercials. His Ring attire is fine, especially since he has developed a gut. Maybe take the sleeves off, but thats about it.

No, I'm a fan of it how it is. I think it would look terrible without sleeves.

Some wrestlers don't feel comfortable in trunks or pants. It's his own personal choice.

To me it's just weird, what with the singlet with long sleeve and the nose-tape. He looks like the guy that steps onto the basketball court wearing the Jordan jersey, the goggles, sweatband on his head and wrists and plastic Adidas tennis...he looks out-of-place, like he's "trying to look like an athlete". That being said his move-set is ok, getting a bit dull, as is with everyone. He's growing on me though, much like a mold or fungus.

I don't know if he will ever take his shirt off, or if Vince would let him. He has a Malcom X tattoo on his chest and gang tattoos (somewhere IDK). He has other ones, but those wouldn't cause a problem in my view.

I think it suits the gimmick, but I couldn't see it looking right if they changed it, which is why I have stated in some other topic that I don't see the E ever changing his gimmick.

Shoot, as far as "gang tats" are concered. Didn't the late Brian Adams (Crush) have those kind of tattoo's on him? Brian Adams was on some real gangst shit when he came back to the WWF/W in 1996. Just think about it?

No need to change it. It suits the gimmick as it does give you that athletic sporty type of look. It also is due to those Malcolm X and gang tattoos and especially in the PG era those probably wouldnt be good to show to little kids.

I think his suit gives a unique look that goes with his persona. After all he is wearing that crazy new space age lazer shit that keeps breaking swim records globally. Besides "that shit is Ballin'".

P.S.: Mr. Baller, best sig...Ever.

Another one of these? Jesus Christ. Why does everyone think wrestlers need to be a bunch of fucking clones? What's wrong with being a little different and standing out? He shouldn't stop wearing it, he stands apart from everyone else who are practically in their underwear. He shouldn't stop using the big boot either. He isn't a big guy like Test, but he is a good wrestler, unlike Test. Also, why do you keep saying "Just think about it?" It's a statement, not a fucking question.

yeah, i don't know why everyone keeps crying about MVP's attire, i think it looks just fine.. besides, if you wanna yell about attire, how about Zack Ryder's.. now his actually does look stupid :)

MVP's look isn't bad at all. Yeah, its really different, but whats so wrong about different? I personally like his look a lot more than the majority of the roster wearing their tights. Its a little bit of a weird work but oh well, it sums up his character. And besides, he wears those chains and that sick nasal strip! His look should be appreciated a little bit more.

I like the attire my problem in the special, it looks very weak. I was thinking of having him use a whole new move or atleast place his foot under his throat instead of behind his head when he performs the move, his opponents head doesnt even hit the ground, makes more sense if his foot went across his throat, but what do you guys think? I never liked this move even when orton had it before.

i just hate the nasal strip and any time he incorporates ballin into his work. It is an obnoxious phrase. i like the direction he has taken of late though I just can't take him serious as a big time performer

I don't think so, his attire looks just fine for his character, and there are some wrestlers with attires that just don't fit
Example: Zack Ryder's strange pants ::wtf:
By the way, he looks better without that nasal strip, gotta agree with you on that jefferson411

MVP's attire is fine. I applaud the fact, that in a sport whee the norm is tight nut-hugging trunks, he has on some "athletic" looking attire. When he first debuted on Smackdown it looked awkward, but it looks fine now that he also has the right accessories (sweatband, nasal strip, gloves, etc.) to go along with it and 'complete' the gimmick. Like someone posted earlier, it's different and you need to be different to get ahead in the business.

That ring attire doesnt fit for him as a face. Even though It was so epic and cocky the way he came out, especially Wrestlemania. But I do think he needs some pyro though, because MVP's current entrance is horrible and bland it needs some fixing. What he absolutely needs is a new suit. I mean he looked and still looks like some power ranger. That suit was used as a heel and it fitted him well. But now as a face he needs a new style because his ring work changed too.

Nah, keep it the same I say.

MVP is instantly recognisable in the outfit that he wears, it is a bit different from every other superstars on the roster so why should it change? No, I think he has the right idea by keeping it the way it is. There is nothing harder in the pro-wrestling business than becoming recognisable and MVP has done this. No point spoiling it now by changing the way he dresses. Plus, he looks just fine in it. There is nothing wrong with his appearance in the one-sie.

I think it's badass. It makes him standout, it looks pretty cool. Why the hell would you want him to look like every other dumb wrestler wearing little tights? Jesus, even The Miz converted to tights. MVP's got the look, he's got the ability, now he just needs to go back to being a heel because this whole face turn just isn't him.

I like his ring attire, nothing wrong with it at all. As a face no one gives a F*** what he is wearing and as a Heel it gives a face something to make fun of him with on the mic.

Works both ways.

The power ranger attire will have to go if he wants to be taken seriously. I mean he'll get into the main event scene with what he's got now, but he's not winning any big titles with that awful gear! Sorry MVP, you've got mic skills and some good ring skills, but you aren't going anywhere in that crap!

Why does it matter what ring attire a superstar wears to the ring? At what way, shape, or form is that an indicator of success? Wrestlers have come to the ring with worse than that and still have been a success. Judging a wrestler by his ring attire is one of the most vain and pointless things I can think of. I'm surprised MVP hasn't been released by now because it seems like he has been arrested by the fashion police or something.
