Movies You Never Get Bored From

I have those nights when my fiancee is either asleep or out with friends or family, and I feel like doing NOTHING but drinking scotch and watching a flick to decompress after a stressful week. Right now, aside from my DVD's of Scrubs, there are a handful of films I run to.

Kill Bill Vol. 1&2. I mean, has there been a better or more badass movie in the last 5 years? Hot chicks with samurai swords, classic melding together of kung-fu film styles, amazing and fun dialouge, and of course - Sonny Chiba! I can't pick a favorite disc, because the crazy 88's and the Sushi Restaurant scene cancel out how amazing the Pai Mai scene is in disc 2. But I can ALWAYS watch this...and drink scotch.

Harry Potter. Insert "IC25 is a geek" comment HERE. But whatever, I enjoy these films. They are fun, don't require too much though, and are still cool the 10th time. I'll be watching these into my 40's.

Goodfellas / Casino / Godfather. I cannot pick a favorite of the mob triad - it all depends on my mood. One of my goals in life is to make enough coin to own EVERY suit DiNiro wears in Casino. Some of the coolest dialouge ever occured in these films.

Epic Slasher films: Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween. I am a huge mark for unkillable serial murderers, especially these 3. They are so iconic, people have stopped being afraid of them and have started rooting for them. They are the horror movie equivalents of tweeners set on a double turn with the promiscuous teens. Classics.

i'll refrain from saying it since you rated me for an award. but i'll still think it. of course i have the first four on dvd so i can't really talk much.

there are a lot of films i think i'd never get bored off, if they were shorter. i love the last samurai and shawshank redemption, but they're so long i never make time to watch them to test this theory out

Now I'm not saying Nightmare on Elm Street isn't a definate classic. But I am gonna call you out on this.

You OPENLY berated me for liking Mighty Ducks 2, a DIS-fucking-NEY movie, because it didn't seem realistic enough with all the stupidity involved. Yet you in turn rate Friday the 13th, a movie about a serial killer who repeatedly dies and comes back to life, as NOT being just as openly stupid with the lack of realism?!

Irish.. again, I'm not saying Freddy and Jason aren't all-time great movie-serial killers. I'm not saying most of those movies aren't cult classics, but I am saying you have zero ground to stand on anymore, for claiming my movie was horrible simply because it didn't follow the rules of basic real life hockey. (when it was a disney movie, not intended to be based on anything true)

Then in turn have the nerve to overshadow that with a guy that, if I recall, went to space, died early, was rebuilt by nanos, and then continued on a killing spree.. in space. :disappointed:

Now, in agreement with your movies, I happen to love the Jason X movie (in space) for its stupidity simply because I loved the simulator scene with the naked girls wanting to have sex with Jason, only in the next scene showing him beating one (in a sleeping bag) with the other. (also in a sleeping bag) It doesn't get any better than that.
