Movie villains and legitimate hatred

Well I watched "Child's Play" when I was 4 years old.. And have had a fear of talking dolls ever since. Not only did Chucky scare the hell out of me, but then my mom decided a few weeks later to go out and buy one that had suction cups on it's hands and put it on the outside of my window with glow in the dark paint on his face and hands. I woke up in the middle of the night, saw it, and screamed. That was horrible..

Another one that came to mind when I first saw the thread title was "Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear" from Toy Story 3. That guy was really evil! Took my daughter to see that, since I grew up with the series, and I can't remember the last time I actually felt hate towards a character on a screen the way I did for that damn bear. :wtf:

The movie villain that sticks out in my mind as one that I truly hated(as a child), was the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz. I remember the sequence where the witch has Dorothy locked up in her castle, Dorothy is crying in abject fear for her Auntie Em, and the Witch comes in on the crystal ball screaing AUNTIE EM, AUNTIE EM, I'LL GIVE YOU AUNTIE EM!!!!. That one scene made me absolutely despise (and fear) the Wicked Witch of the West. Even now, I still will occasionally watch The Wizard of Oz, and while I no longer "hate" The Wicked Witch of the West, Margaret Hamiltons' performance still puts a chill up my spine. Ms. Hamiltons' performance made the Wicked Witch of the West one of the greatest movie villains of all time. Cold, calculating, and completely without remorse.

Ok I know it's movies but there is just ONE I have to list from TV. Jon Kavanaugh from the Shield played by Forest Whitaker. Never before has a "bad guy" gotten so under my skin where I wanted him to die a very horrible death. I can't explain it really to those that have never seen it, but he is pretty much the reason a beloved character died.

Anyways, Denothor from Lord of the Rings: Return of the King comes to mind by John Noble. Pure evil, and hated humanity.

Jude Law's character from Road to Perdition is another one that has a ton of creepiness but also just an mean SOB.

The only one to pop into my mind was Jim, Winona Ryder's jock boyfriend in the film Edward Scissorhands. If you've watched the movie, you'd know how much of a jerk he was. I watched the movie again a few weeks ago and I already knew he was gonna die, but each scene with him made me more anxious for his death at the end.

Thanks IC! I'll try to remember the name this time. There have been plenty of movie characters I can't stand, but none of them managed to get under my skin the way Ginger did. She was a massive pain in the ass in Casino. Although, I will admit, it was kind of messed up what happened to her at the end of the movie.

Mrs.Carmody from The Mist was also another character I couldn't stand. I love this movie, but she was annoying as hell. She brainwashed almost everyone in the supermarket, and there were people who were willing to kill for her. I can still remember everyone clapping in the theater when she was killed.

When she died, by her own testimony "it was like winning the lottery and putting it in the jar" lol

I think it has to be Matt Damon in The Departed, that guy deserved the shitty death he got...never solved...

I'll go with Tong Po from the Kickboxer films. His face still scares me a little even to this day, also the fact he can kill in the ring is disturbing. Even though he's just acting, I still wouldnt want to meet the guy cause he just gives me the creeps.

How about the two Red Neck a-holes from "A Time to Kill". The actual men had very minor roles in the begining of the film before they were shot by Carl Lee Haley aka Samuel L Jackson, but that opening scene when they raped and tortured that poor ten yr old black girl always makes me want to jump through the tv and kick the shit out of them.

Also, John Crease and Terry Silver in Karate Kid 3. Especially Terry Silver because he gets Daniel to trust him, just to turn out to be a dick. I FREAKING LOVE when Mr. Miagi goes to their dojo and beats them both up. then he stands over them mocking Terry Silver.....Whaaa Whaaaa.......ha ha....funny shit.
