Morrison, whats gonna happen next?

Goliath Uterus

Getting Noticed By Management
Because I dont have access to a TV during the 3 hour special of RAW tonight (thanks dad) i've been browsin the forums for a good hour or so now, and i started thinking, what are they gonna do with John Morrison? They brought him to RAW, he's a top face, he's great in the ring, and he's super over. He doesnt look to have any title shots in the near future and (correct me if im wrong) isnt having a feud with anyone. I think him and Wade Barret could have a great feud, maybe if Barret loses his title shot they could feud over the #contender spot or he could have a feud with a returning heel Triple H over........ I dunno a #1 contender spot or something of that nature. What do you guys think they should do with JoMo?

I personally think they have missed the mark with JOMO he should possibly be at the same level that miz is (granted his mic skills are not that great) but he makes up for it in ablilty. I personally he needs to be added to the US title Pic to help elevate his status. But WWE needs to sorely do something with this guy as he is being wasted.

I hate to be the wet blanket here, but people have to stop flipping out about Morrison having been off TV for a few weeks. It's been widely reported the guy was dealing with an ankle injury suffered at a house show. He's going to be on NXT tomorrow night, so it's probably safe to assume he'll be on TV plenty in the upcoming months.

I think a heel turn is more better for Morrison. Him and Miz can get back together, boost up the tag team division, and even be a main event fraction. Morrison as a face is really dull.

I think Miz and Morrison can hold the US title once or twice each. Both having feuds with R-truth. Then they can have a feud with the Hart Dynasty, having them both have feuds with DH Smith and Kid. Maybe have a title switch. Anyways I think it's a good way, to get some exposure for the Tag Team division, and the Hart Dynasty. I mean Tyson Kid has some moves.

But whatever happens, no face title runs for Morrison. He is too bland on the mic. You can only get so far with little mic skills, and nothing but ring skills.

1.
Have the feud w/ Barret,
IDK about it being for the #1 contender ship Bcuz until smackdown gets moved to SyFy there are going to be alot of top dogs on RAW (Randy,Chris,Edge, HHH returning soon)
But it would be a good feud none the less,
reassuring John as a top Face,
While putting over Barret
2.
Turn Morrison Heel,
He's proven himself as a top face,
Can he transform into a top heel,
Like Punk?
/ or have him get back w/ Miz
He could use some insight on mic skills

I know two things that shouldn't happen with Morrison.

1. He should not team with the Miz again. The Miz has improved a lot and I want to see him win consisently in singles competition, which I haven't seen, so I won't be able to view him as anything more than a slightly worse Christian.

2. Morrison was awful as a heel. The Miz got more heat than him and his moveset was not suited as a heel. He's average as a face but needs more work on the mic and a different finisher or else hit it correctly more than half the time

Morrison will be floating around the U.S. Title picture for the time being and he'll be busy with NXT so I don't expect him to be near the main event scene for a while.

He just hasnt produced. I think hes a victim of the skits and promos being scripted. He has a lot of personality and top class moves but hasnt had a memorable fued with any one that can really be built up. Why not have him turn on R truth during a tag match and start an extended fued with R truth, JoMo and jericho. Could even add another person and have a match at fatal 4 way.

Well, the first wrong thing that I think happened to John Morrison was WWE not capitalizing on him. Upon his arrival to Smackdown, after Jeff Hardy's departure, Smackdown was more than short of main event players. At the time, C.M. Punk was World Champion, and we all know the history behind them two. Since, Jeff Hardy left, The Undertaker was forced to have an early return and fued with Punk. While, I really enjoyed Undertaker's 4-month reign as champion, I would have liked to have seen John Morrison involved in the title picture. That was his perfect opportunity, but instead, he settled for the Intercontinental Championship.

Then, after losing the Intercontinental Championship, Morrison had to job to Drew McIntyre for many weeks. Then, he is put in a tag team with R-Truth. Now, the tag team made sense, as they were both over and could help each other get even more over. But, even though he is a 3-time IC Champion, Morrison is known as a tag team specialist. He's great in both fields, but I'd like WWE to focus more on his singles career. It could have happened on Smackdown, but...

...he was drafted to Raw. I never liked or was a big fan of Smackdown mid carders moving to Raw. It almost never results in success. John Morrison is one of those people I fear for. Since he is on Raw, it is harder and harder to predict what will happen to him. He was pinned by the Miz, who WWE is making it seem like he is the better of the tag team. I hope for nothing but good things for John Morrison and hopefully WWE will do just that.

The sad truth about this situation is I think we are seeing what they will do with John Morrison. I think they see him as a face with some nice moves and a potential contender for a midcard title. I just don't see "big things" in his future. He is a tremendous athlete, but so are many of the wrestlers. He has a unique look and entrance, but not so much so that it guarentees anything. He is not the only high flyer or innovative wrestler either. Simply put, I don't know what he has or can do that we seperate him from the others. We have already seen a lot of amazing moves for Morrison. If he is not near the top of the cards right now, what else could he possibly do in the ring to get there?

Morrison, to put it honestly, had pretty much missed his mark. I like him, I see a lot of potential, but when it comes to getting the major push it's a bit late. He was a much better heel (even though his moveset screamed otherwise) and I considered his mic skills far superior when he was with The Miz. Do I want them back together? Hell no but this shows my point:

Morrison: needs a heel turn. He's far more interesting when he is playing a bad guy and his little entrance he performs isn't my idea of what "the good guy" would do; it's too arrogant. And of course there is the sunglasses giveaway that is straight out of Bret Hart's playbook. I say enough of that. As a heel he was much more of a title contender then a babyface.

As a face, he is putting others over, therefore missing his mark. A heel turn is what he needs, that and he needs a new finisher other than Starship Pain. What happened to Moonlight Drive?

This is a seriously upsetting idea for a dude like myself. I actually like JoMo quite a bit and thought his switch to Raw would be the grand opening of the Palace of Wisdom. Unfortunately it looks like an "under construction" sign went up instead. What is the deal? Why hasn't this guy got the big push? On SmackDown this guy beat 2 world champions in their reigns and never got a title shot. Now on Raw it's "Job to the Miz time"? I don't know what's going to happen next, I know that he is one of the NXT pros so at least they are using him there. Hopefully that will lead to something meaningful happening with him. There is no doubt in my Dudebusting mind that JoMo has all the tools, but where is his opportunity to use them? Hopefully on the horizon.

Morrison is going to fade away. His in ring style is unique, but he's just horrible on the mic. Poor guy always seems to be struggling to think of something to say. Out of the pairing, The Miz definitely emerged as the superstar.

I'm not quite sure how they would go about this, but I think that a move back to Smackdown! would practically be a godsend for Morrison. The show was just about robbed of main-eventers during the draft and still hasn't quite recovered. This is where he could easily move into a main event position, especially if someone like Punk was champion. The history between the two could drive that feud itself.

In regards to a heel turn, I would say yes, but not quite yet. He actually seems to be getting a good reaction as of late, and I believe that, given a reasonable push, that could grow quite a bit over time. I truly believe that setting, as in being drafted to Raw, is hindering him more than anything at this point. That, and mic skills (which can be improved).

He'll be ok. This whole NXT thing has thrown a lot of stuff off, but with Morrison as a Pro on there he'll be getting more TV time. He's one of the golden boys of the company and at times they more or less make the guy get over by just leaving him on TV and in a prominent role until something clicks and he gets over (see Orton, Randy for a step by step analysis). Morrison is likely going to be around for awhile due to the look he has and the girls that explode for him. Maybe something with the US Title though, as Cena vs. Morrison would just be an ab contest.
