I can't see Jeff Hardy winning, and even less becoming World Champion. It just doesn't fit. Many say that some wrestlers are not meant for the main-event, people like Christian who are way better off at mid card level, and I believe that those wrestlers do exist. Jeff Hardy is one of them, I think he would be better off in the tag team division with his brother Matt. However, I may be proven wrong by the fact that Christian Cage is a great NWA World Heavyweight Champion at the moment.

This Money in the Bank looks like an abomination waiting to happen. It has been excellent the last 2 years and now it's just kinda gettin winged together.

My opinion on who should be in it.

That's perfect, why cram all of the good talent that can draw in matches on their own, in one match.
You can easily do Orton v. Edge, which would probably be the match of the night. If you haven't seen their match from Vengeance a couple years ago, you are missing out.

Edge/orton: This Will Be Used To Kick Start The Rko Break Up And Feud For The Spring.

Alright here are my final thoughts on MITB, just some random obervations/predictions/opinions

I am looking forward to this match, 8 men instead of 6 will add a different dimension to this match. As good as the other matches were, there was too much 4 guys knocked out outside the ring and 2 guys fighting/doing high spots with the ladders. Having 8 guys adds to the chances that you will see multiple high spots involving multiple guys. For those who don't like this because of the craziness, are you nuts! This match is suppose to be crazy, your fighting for a chance at a title shot whenever you want! Its WM! The more Crazy it is, the better it will be. If I don't want to watch a crazy match I'll watch the Kane/Khali match, but in a MITB, crazy will make this match.

As for the participants, here are my observations. Jeff and Matt Hardy are in this match for the sole purpose to do high spots with the ladders. CM Punk I believe will also be in this role, and I think this can be a breakout match for him. For some reason I see him performing exceptionally well with ladders. Kennedy will be doing some high spots as well, and I also think this match will suit him well too. Finlay, thats a joke, he's going to be in there to 'beat ppl up' and you'll get some humor stuff with hornswoggle or whatever his name is now, but he will be a non-factor. Booker is in there for the notoriety factor, but I don't see him doing much because of his history of a bad back, they can't risk hurting him. Edge and Orton will be your typical heels in the match, and most of the high spot moves will be done on them.

Now for my predictions. I see Orton winning the MITB. This will happen in that Edge will be reaching for the briefcase, when Orton screws him by taking him out, getting the case and the shot at the title, and ending Edge's WM streak. This will then cause a feud at Backlash for the case, and maybe subsequently a larger feud? Punk I see coming close but no cigar in the match, as he will be taken out by Kennedy towards the end of the match. Punk will be noticeable frustrated in the match, and if this works to my prediction, this match will be before the new breed/originals match, which Punk will intervene in, screw the Originals over, and start his major heel turn. Kennedy will be in the final 3 running for the title, but he will be taken out by rated RKO but will get himself involved in the backlash title shot match, not sure how yet. Booker will attempt to get an alliance with Finlay, but in the end they will just take each other out. And the Hardy's will crash and burn.

These are my views, its very possible none of this turns out, but thats why its an opinion piece. All I can do now is sit back, count the days to WM, and enjoy one amazing match!

can someone please tell me what the big deal about randy orton is?? honestly, he is a sorry ass wrestler. he's got the lamest finisher next to uumaga, was only the world champion because he was in evolution and they needed a reason to break them up.
and as for the rest of the money in the bank guys, i honestly dont see punk winning. they are setting up for lashley/snitskey after wrestlemania.
edge and orton, thats going to be a feud after mania when they take each other out, if they even leave them in the match. i can see them having a singles match instead. or possibly costing each other the match and setting up for a loser leaves raw match at backlash.
booker- he has already had his shot and was good. except for queen sharmell, i thought it was a good gimmick for him, but its long past time to drop it and move on.
finlay, well he is just there for filler and probably to feud with booker or kennedy.
kennedy, do i even have to say it? the guy is the future of the business, but i cant see him winning this match. has he even been in a ladder match before? and the guy has already proven he has the talent to be champion. but i see the undertaker/batista feud going longer than 1 match, and with rey mysterio coming back to a huge push, i just dont see him getting the match. he'll win the us title from benoit before he goes to raw.
as for matt hardy, not exactly out of his feud with mercury yet. can't see him winning the match either. someday though
and as for who i think will win is jeff hardy. the guy has been a huge favorite since his return, on the last cover of the wwe magazine, it refered to him as this years rising star. with time he could become championship material. and that is what the match is for. its not a title shot right away, but within a year. that is plenty of time to get him ready. and for the ones that say it won't happen: how many people thought edge was championship ready before he won? my money was on benoit in that match. and last year, granted he was way over with the fans, who thought rvd would win it? and what about rey mysterio? i sure as hell didnt see him beating angle and orton and becoming world champion. hey i didnt even see him winning the rumble. so don look for the obvious person to win. this match is about elevating the winner to main event level, and edge, booker, orton(dont know why) and soon to be there kennedy, do not need this match.

?????(Orton most likely) vs Punk vs Edge vs Matt Hardy vs Jeff Hardy vs Finlay vs Kennedy vs Booker, doesn't seem that appealing. These guys deserve to be in individual feuds because they damn sure have it in them. Shoving them in a match like this which won't mean anything for 7 of them, is a disgrace to their talents. I can understand guys like Hardy and Punk in it, but Kennedy, Edge and Orton deserve much better, and we saw how good Edge vs Foley was, and that was a match that had hardly any backstory. It was just a match that Edge deserved because he was past needing a boost like the MITB match.

8 competitors is just too much, and I hope that they let it go for 20-30 minutes and make it a damn good spotfest, because if they fail that, which is the main point to the match, it will be a damn shame. Everyone will be getting in eachothers way, and it is just a waste of talent. They really could be doing better things, but I hope these guys send a wake up call to Vince and the rest of the WWE authority because most of them are better than this.

Some of the guys in there could really make it an awesome match, but guys like the Hardys need to be tag team champions because they are a team that could really rebuild the division. This is just throwing people on the card in this match and seeing what happens. Not liking this one at all really, because these guys in feuds would be much more worthwhile. If the WWE put half as much effort into promoting Trump/McMahon as they did into promoting other feuds, we wouldn't have to see credible guys in these matches.

i dont know why people are complaining about 8 people instead of 6 its better!! there will be more choas than ever. the hardyz doing high sports this will be one of the best matches of the night. i dont know why people are crying, i know some of the wrestlers shold be in other matches but just enjoy what there is!! i certainly cant wait for this match. im expecting kennedy or orton to win the match.

Orton is definitely going to be the winner of the MITB because in the promos we have seen constantly talk about how he is going to be the one who wins the money in the bank and orton just stands their like sure whatever. So it is going to be orton costing edge the briefcase only to win the briefcase himself. I then see him beating Michaels for the title after michaels is worn down from defeating Cena thus creating the shortest title reign of Michaels only having the belt for a few minutes.

I would like to see Edge and Orton out of the match, and have a match of their own. and it looks like they could be going that way, with edge injured. but it could just be a set up for the ladder match as well.
but with the announcement that they are going to have all 3 brands on pay per views starting with backlash, i would like to see Jeff Hardy win the match by costing Mr. Kennedy, setting up a match between the 2 at backlash with the briefcase on the line. I think those 2 could have one hell of a match

I think this match will steal the show yet again... even tho the match is a little packed with 8 superstars instead of 6 but there will only be more oppertunities for action. I think this match will come down to CM Punk or Edge, but I wouldn't count out Jeff Hardy since he's also a veteran in ladder matches and will do whatever it takes to win. Don't be surprised if the Edge/Orton feud starts in this match. I could see Edge hitting a spear on Orton to start the match, or Orton starting with an RKO to Edge. But I really can't see King Booker or Mr. Kennedy winning this match, I agree that Kennedy is a great superstar and probly a future WWE or WH Champ, but I don't think he'll be able to perform like the other's in a ladder match. Look for CM Punk to work his hardest to represent ECW in this match and posibly win and jump ship to RAW or SMACKDOWN to take on HBK or Taker after 'mania.
I think top performance in the match will be either Jeff Hardy or CM Punk because these guys are great in the ring and Jeff can do wonders in ladder matches, remember when he Swantoned Bubba from on top of a ladder throu a table, and how hard he worked against Taker in a ladder match on RAW some years ago.

To me this match will be the second best of the night or maybe the show stealer.I think this because adding two extar men in this match onl;y causes more chaos.plus we have the hardyz who we know will go all out in a match and will do high spots in where they will put there body on the line.then we have edge who is also a a very experienced guy in ladder matches.we have orton in this match which will add some drama between him and edge.then we have cm punk who will no doubt work his ass off in this match to pull off a good show.mr.kennedy i can see doing his own in this match.finlay on the other hand isnt meant for ladders.he is meant to do great technical wrestling which is why he should be facing benoit.then we have booker t who will also do ok but not that great.

I can't see anyone winning this match and then using the shot that same night. This isn't because it's been done before, but because this match will leave everyone involved better much indisposed.

I have to disagree with people that said that the Hardys (either one) are not ready for the title. Someone mentioned Edge earlier in the thread and its a perfect example. When Edge won the title, I didn't think he was ready and the same could be said when JBL won it. Anyway, I think the winner is up in the air, but I do believe if one of the Hardys don't win it, they will move one of them and they'll compete for the tag titles.

Give ALL the guys in the match a chance to do their thing. They're all professionals and paid to entertain us, so let's hope they do just that.

People who have the best chance: Edge, Orton

Decent chance: CM Punk, Mr Kennedy

Small chance: Booker

A Realy good end to the Match would be Someone Nocks out the ref then Orton climbs the ladder and gets the brefcase but Edge hits Orton with somthing stealing the breafcase then the Ref seas Edge with the brefecase and delcares him the winner.Which would turn Orton Face and set up a fude for the breafcase and ceep Edge is Undefeted WM streack intack what do you think of this senario?

The problem is Edge is undefeated in Ladder matches, and at Wrestlemania. I believe he deserves to keep the streak, so I see him being taken out of the match some time along the way, with Kennedy winning. Please god don't make Randy Orton win...

ok this is wut think would happen in between some of the ealier matches at wm23 edge and orton will have this big dispute about who is better and and who is more deserving then coach(seeing as VKM is preparing to go out for a matche later that night) saying well if u guys cant settle this urself then we will see who wins in another match pulling edge and orton have a match saving the streak he has if not then my bet is on edge or kennedy if edge then a further story line of him taking the belt from hbk some time and orton and him feud 4 the belt if kennedy then he will might jump ship to raw (VKM keeping hottest storys on raw) and beats cena or hbk or he stays and continues fued w/ taker
