I figured I'd create this thread because there are some things that are worth mentioning but don't really require their own thread. This thread can be used to talk about matches that are made, or if Dana White or Tito Ortiz (for example) makes a colorful comment that is worth bringing up, or stories such as this...

http://www.lvrj.com/news/breaking_n...d-in-Henderson-hospital-assault-63715747.html

A UFC fighter who was featured on a SpikeTV show last year was arrested Tuesday night, accused of assaulting three nurses at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena campus, according to Henderson police.

Junie Browning, 24, was taken to the hospital by two friends after Browning took 16 pills of Klonopin, an anti-anxiety drug, in an attempt to harm himself, police stated in Browning's arrest report.

After being taken to a room at the hospital, the Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter tried to leave and became angry, pushing a female nurse, punching a male nurse and kicking another male nurse, the report states.

"Do you know who I am? I will kill you and rape your family," police said he yelled to nurses.

The mixed martial arts fighter was one of the cast members last year on SpikeTV's "The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir."

Browning faces three counts of battery on a health care provider, according to his arrest report.

He was booked at the Henderson Detention Center, where he was released today.

Browning was an all-around jackass when he was on TUF. I really don't know what they saw in him. At least Chris Leben when he was on TUF backed it up because he was a pretty good fighter. Junie was just a douche with a bad attitude and limited fighting skills.

As a result of this, Dana let him go:

“He was given an amazing opportunity, but he has some serious issues that are beyond me and what I can do,” White told reporter Kevin Iole. “I’m there for guys and I realize nobody is perfect and guys are going to get into trouble. When that happens, I want to try to help and do something for them. But he needs more help than I can give him. I did what I could for him.”

Junie is recognizable because he was given the TUF celebrity treatment from the UFC. For all intents and purposes, he's somewhat of a draw and he'll probably get scooped up by either Strikeforce or DREAM, especially after Shinya Aoki expressed a desire to fight UFC fighters. At least a Browning/Aoki fight would give Aoki a win where he doesn't have to continuously scheme his way to winning.

Why does this not surprise me.

The only brothers whom I despise more than the Diaz brothers are the Browning Jackoffs. Both of them are arrogant alcoholics, they fight because they are reconciling for a brokem relationship with their father, and they take their shit lives out on the rest of the world. They both have addiction and anger management issues, and neither of them will be a name in the UFC except for crap like this.

They are the Maurice Claretts of UFC.

Why so much hatred for the Diaz Brothers anyway, IC? I mean, sure they're cocky as shit and talk too much, but it all adds to the entertainment of the show. At least they back up their words, win, and put on GREAT fights. I mean, seriously... pretty much every year since they started MMA, both Nate and Nick participated in a FOTY candidate. Every year. And also... while they may act like thugs, neither of them have had any trouble with the law. They're just basically a couple of guys who love to fight in an organized environment. That's basically it. Nick in his spare time does nothing but run, swim, and ride bikes, while Nate stays at the gym 24/7. Moreover, I've never read a fan who met them stay they were assholes or anything like that; I really think they're both a couple of good guys, who just like to put on a show and hype of their fights (especially Nick, who has basically admitted he doesn't mean anything he says going into a fight.

And yeah... man Junie is a fucking jackass. Seriously, hitting a woman nurse? Is there anything more cowardly someone could do? I don't care how drunk someone may or may not be, there's absolutely no excuse for that. And I know it's mean, but if the guy wants to off himself so bad, then let him do it. He's not contributing anything to this World other than being a danger to society. He's scum.

As far as his brother... I think that was just show on TUF 9. I doubt he's anywhere near as bad as Junie.

Few fight notes that are worth mentioning:

http://www.mmarising.com/news/2009/11/04/nogueira-vs-velasquez-on-tap-for-ufc-108/
Nogueira vs. Velasquez appears to be on for UFC 108. By the end of UFC 108, we'll know what the next big heavyweight title fight is going to be. I'm really looking forward to that. I would give Nogueira the definite advantage in this fight. The best submission guy Cain has fought so far is Rothwell. It's a good fight for both guys. It's Cain's first real test, and it's a test to see how Nog fares against an elite young fighter. If he can hang with Cain, he can certainly hang with Brock or Carwin.

Take this as just a major rumor at this point, but Goldenboy on the MMA Underground forums (who has inside sources and has never been wrong on a scoop, apparently), is saying that Cro Cop is taking on Rothwell at UFC Australia. I think it's a good fight for Cro Cop, as Rothwell looked pretty horrible vs. Cain. Rothwell is not Junior Dos Santos. Hopefully, Cro Cop picks up a win.

http://www.cagepotato.com/war-machine-has-big-porn-goals-very-little-control-over-things-he-says
Also, War Machine proves that he has absolutely no dignity left. He's becoming a pornstar because "he makes a living, but not enough money to save". He also has comments on Brock Lesnar and Cyborg being a man. This guy's a dolt, but at least he's smart enough to realize he'll never get another shot at the UFC.

Very interesting fight, but I think Cain Velasquez is in way over his head on this one. He just can't handle someone like Nogueira. Nog has the striking to take Cain out on the feet, and he's not Kongo on the ground. I'm sure Cain will be able to take Big Nog down at will... but does he know enough Jiu-Jitsu to keep Nog from subbing him? I'm not so sure, because Big Nog is one of the slickest BJJ guys in the entire sport, let alone Heavyweight Division.

It'll be a very good fight for sure, and while I would rather see Nog vs. Mir 2, this was still a solid choice to help out the UFC 108 card, which seems to be taking a hit every single day.

I hope this is true. CroCop needs a win badly, and he'll definitely get one against Rothwell, in old CroCop fashion, too. Can't wait for this one.

War Machine is a character, man. The guy is one of a kind, and he probably needs some serious help, lol.

But hey... from what I understand. it's not some amateur type stuff, but he actually did movie with one of the biggest pornstars in the business, Riley Steel. So he's definitely at least getting paid to do this.

Still though, he should have taken that contract with Strikeforce when it was offered to him. War Machine is too much of a character and too good/exciting of a fighter not to be fighting in a big MMA organization.

Chael Sonnen vs. Nate Marquardt is scheduled for UFC 110 in Australia.

Sonnen is starting to put it all together, looking very impressive as a whole lately, especially with his fight against Okami. Marquardt is currently in limbo and deserves a Middleweight Title shot, but everything between Silva, Belfort, and Hendo has to be worked out first. Marquardt is really starting to solidify himself as one of the best in the division, and one of the most underrated fighters as a whole in MMA, and I think he'll take it to Sonnen. He's got a lot to prove right now.

:zzzz:

I'll be honest and say neither fighter interest me whatsoever. This is just a bad match-up. Demian Maia beat Sonnen in just a couple of minutes, and Marquardt knocked Maia's ass out in 20 seconds. So, while this will be a decent fight I'm sure, neither will deserve a title shot if they win in my opinion, especially if Anderson Silva is still the champion at the time.

But whatever. Hopefully this turns out to be a free card, because there's nothing but 2nd rate fighter on UFC 110 right now. Good fights, sure, but nothing that warrants a $45 price tag.

I agree with JMT here, regardless of if Sonnen is putting his shit together he really hasnt warranted himself a title shot yet and even if he beats Marquardt I only see that propelling him into higher profile fights with guys such as Hendo or Belfort but not Anderson. Marquardt also doesnt benifit from this fight because even if he wins its not over a top notch guy in the division, it would only be against an up and comer. That doesnt deserve a title shot either. Like JMT said until this whole Belfort, Henderson, Silva thing is figured out Marquardt and Sonnen are just going to be in middleweight limbo. I do agree that Marquardt is begining to prove himself as an elite force in the division, he just needs to fight high caliber guys. Id say Dana needs to bring Thales Leites back and give Marquardt a rematch against him. If he can beat him then maybe and I mean maybe he will finally earn his title shot.

Matt Hughes is taking on Renzo Gracie at UFC 109.

BloodyElbow said:
Heavy.com has confirmed with sources close to the UFC that a welterweight matchup between Renzo Gracie and Matt Hughes is in the works for UFC 109 in February.

Gracie, 42, last appeared in a February 2007 disqualification victory over Frank Shamrock. Rumors have circulated over the last month that the legendary Gracie family member has been in negotiations with the UFC. Both fighters have been approached about the fight, but bout agreements have not been signed.

Now this is matchmaking! Despite his ranking at #6 on the USAT/SBN Consensus MMA Rankings, Hughes is done as a serious title contender after two losses to champ Georges St. Pierre and a loss to Thiago Alves. But he's still a very marketable attraction and a formidable competitor. His most famous and lucrative bout was his UFC 60 fight with Royce Gracie.

Renzo Gracie on the other hand, is probably the most respected of the original generation of Gracies that popularized jiu jitsu and MMA in the U.S and Japan in the 1990s. Unlike his cousins Royce and Rickson, he never developed a reputation for hand-picking his opponents and he faced some of the top fighters of his era: Oleg Taktarov, Maurice Smith, Kazushi Sakuraba, Dan Henderson, Carlos Newton, B.J. Penn, Pat Miletich, and Frank Shamrock.

But his most famous fight would have to be his bout with Luta Livre ace Eugenio Tadeu in 1997. That fight ended in a riot that killed the commercial prospects for MMA in Brazil for a decade.

Despite having had a great career in MMA, Renzo has never fought for the UFC.

It's easy to see why Matt Hughes declined to fight Mike Swick, Josh Koscheck or Jon Fitch when he can make a great deal more money fighting the 42 year old Renzo.

As much as I don't like Hughes, I can't say I like Renzo's chances in this one. He hasn't fought in a while, with his last win being a DQ win over Frank "Adult Braces" Shamrock, when he got kneed in the head illegally. I think Hughes will just Lay and Pray, much like he did against Serra, to pick up the victory here.

:disappointed:

Matt Hughes loses my respect more and more with each passing day.

I guess the guy is just now at a point where he'll only fight fights he's knows he'll win, huh? Give me a break. You have 3/4 young guys out there who have all called out Hughes in the past couple of months, and Hughes decides he wants to fight a 42-year-old whose last fight was over 2 years ago (a fight he did not look good in at all, keep in mind)? What the fuck is that shit? No disrespect to Renzo Gracie, as he is a decent fighter and quite damn entertaining on the mic, but this is a fucking joke. Matt Hughes is a joke, period.

I'll be rooting for Renzo, but Hughes will win this with ease, which is the only reason he took the fight. I really do not know what this guy's problem is, as he used to be someone who would fight anyone at anytime. But today... he only wants to fight people he's confident against, and since he's a "legend," he gets away with it.

Total bull that Hughes doesnt step up and fight some high caliber fighters of todays day and age. Im not saying Hughes vs. Gracie wont be any good but like its been said before it seems like a relatively easy win. I really wish he would step up and fight one of my AKA boys. Fitch vs. Hughes needs to happen, the wrestler of yesteryear against the wrestler of today would make me so happy. But no Hughes has to be a bitch and not take any hard fights anymore. Ill be pulling for Renzo Gracie as well, I hope he chokes Hughes ass out.

Turns out that Renzo is going to wait until Rolles Gracie makes his UFC Debut so he doesn't overshadow him, and so he can help him train. However, Hughes/Renzo is signed and going to happen soon... just not in February.

Renzo also seems like he's really focused and motivated. Hopefully he embarrasses Hughes when the fight does happen. The potential is definitely there for him to take advantage of Hughes' lay and pray strategy, which he has to know is coming. It is a shame that Hughes is afraid of fighting younger guys in general though. He was my favorite back in his day.

Then it turned out he was a major dick... what with that whole rape accusation.

http://www.graciemag.com/news/144/ARTICLE/16312/2009-11-12.html

Either way, incredulous columnists and sedentary fans can rest at ease. No, Renzo is not going to fight in February, when he will be completely focused on cousin Rolles’s UFC debut. But…

“My relationship with the UFC is excellent. Something will happen…” he hints.

On his adversary, should it really be Matt Hughes, as has been speculated for weeks, Renzo confirms nothing. Nor does he deny it: “The match-up has been made. It's going down. And as Nietzchian as it gets: better sooner than later. And I have a message for those who want me to stay home…

“Look in the mirror and ask yourselves if you practice what you preach.”

So basically, there are three things that are cursed right now in the UFC.

1.) The health of the champions.
2.) The Heavyweight Division
3.) The card for UFC 108.

According to Meltzer, who is usually right on with his MMA scoops:

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira has a very serious staph infection and his fight with Cain Velasquez at UFC 108 is off. Nogueira will need an IV to hopefully get the infection out.

With Lesnar out indefinitely, Shane Carwin has undergone knee surgery, so he will not be available to face Velasquez at UFC 108.

So, Lesnar's immune system is crashing. Nogueira has another staph infection. And Carwin decided to go ahead and get knee surgery while he's waiting for Brock to recuperate. Mir is tied up with Kongo.

If Brock's going to need time to get better, then the easy solution would be for the UFC to create an interim belt for the time being, and unite the titles once Brock gets better.

For the meantime, what does this mean for the UFC 108 card's main event? We've gone from having two title matches, to one, to none, to a very solid Velasquez/Nogueira main event. Now there's once again no main event. Maybe with Dana rehiring guys who have left the company, maybe we can have Velasquez vs. a returning Tim Sylvia.

Kimbo couldn't have come at a better time, huh?

Seriously, the UFC needs Mir to win his next fight badly (also CroCop destroying Rothwell wouldn't hurt either), so they can match him up against Velasquez for the Interim Heavyweight Championship. That's the only way they can keep the division looking legit while these guys are out, if you ask me.

But hopefully, each of these fighters get well soon enough, and this won't be a problem that last for long. I'll stay optimistic about it.

Well, Carwin didn't get knee surgery, he's just rehabbing it. Looks like he'll be able to fight *after* UFC 108 in what will probably be him taking on Cain Velasquez for the interim UFC Heavyweight title. I'm already looking forward to that fight, and I think Carwin could very well take it.

Heavy.com has learned that, contrary to recent reports, Shane Carwin did not recently undergo knee surgery. We spoke with sources close to Carwin's camp, who indicated that the number-one contender for the heavyweight title is simply rehabbing his knee and did not undergo any surgical procedures.

Recently published reports indicated that Carwin had undergone knee surgery to fix an ailing knee while waiting for Brock Lesnar to recuperate from his bout with mononucleosis. Carwin did undergo an MRI, which came back as a grade II MCL strain. Carwin was told not to do any grappling for three weeks, which made him unavailable for UFC 108. He is available to fight on any card after UFC 108, but with Brock Lesnar out for an unknown amount of time, Carwin remains in limbo.

It's almost a lock that the company will be forced to create an interim championship because of Lesnar's condition (or strip Lesnar of the title completely if he's going to be on the shelf for more than a year). Carwin would be in the picture for that interim championship, most likely against Cain Velasquez. Velasquez was scheduled to face Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 108, but was removed from the card when Nogueira pulled out due to a serious staph infection.

Also, Shane proves how much of a class act he really is, and if he wasn't one of my favorite fighters already, he definitely would be now. I really want to see him take on Brock down the road if he ever gets well enough to fight again.

Shane Carwin said:
I am sure most of you know I am not the leader of the Lesnar Fan Club. That being said, antics or not, he is OUR UFC HWT Champion. He beat a future Hall of Famer to keep that belt and he NEEDS our prayers and good thoughts right now.

At the end of the day I can take off my UFC shirt and say here is a man, a Champion that has been brought down by an illness not another man. It is very humbling if you think about it.

Brock has a wife, kid, and friends that depend on him to make their lives better. You do not have to support Brock and his antics but you should have respect for the human side of what is happening here.

This is not a ploy to sell more tickets, he is the biggest draw this sport has ever had. This is not him ducking me or any other fighter. This is about a man who is fighting an illness for his career, family and friends.

Talk of stripping a man of his title due to illness will set this sport back farther then anything Brock has ever said. We need our Champions healthy and defending. I know the show will go on but to be a Champion you must beat a Champion.

My family and I send our thoughts and well wishes to Brock's family, friends and training partners. We are indeed keeping you in our thoughts.

If you sit around bashing Brock or making fun of this because of his antics you might be the very same thing you despise. As an MMA fan, as a human be concerned that one of OUR OWN has fallen and needs our support.

Get well soon UFC Heavyweight Champ Brock Lesnar.

Yeah if Carwin didn't get the surgery then him fighting Cain Velasquez makes the most sense to me as well. As much as I like Mir I think he needs a couple fights before going for the belt again and as much as I like Kongo the man shows no consistency in the octagon. He goes from winning multiple fights in a row to losing decisively to Velasquez thus ending his run at the belt. He needs to show more consistency and better ground skills before I think he can truly challenge for the belt.

Velasquez/Carwin was supposed to happen until Carwin talked shit about Lesnar and got moved up to number one contendor. It will deffinently be a good fight and they are two of the hottest prospects in the heavyweight division right now. It makes the most sense to throw your two best up and comers against one another for the interim belt. Hell maybe one of them will be the next big thing.

UFC 109: GET OFF MY LAWN!
Randy Couture and Mark Coleman have verbally agreed to a light heavyweight headlining bout at UFC 109 on Feb. 6 in Las Vegas, Sherdog.com has learned through sources close to the bout.

If signed, the bout will mark the first time UFC hall of famers have met in the Octagon. Both former heavyweight champions, Couture was originally slated to face Coleman at UFC 17 in May 1998 in Mobile, Ala., before the four-time Olympic alternate hurt his ribs prepping for that year’s Greco-Roman wrestling Nationals.

I was hoping with all the trash talking that was going on with Tito and Coleman that it wound up happening down the line. Instead, we get Couture/Coleman, which should be an interesting fight with two guys who have been around for so long, and are ageless wonders, still able to compete at such a high level despite their age.

I give Couture the edge, as he's still proving himself against top competition. Coleman's only win since returning was a lucklaster decision victory over Stephan Bonnar.

very intriguing fight, not just because of their ages and being the hall of fame but because they both are still solid fighters. I was sort of hoping Couture would get a fight with Rua and that the Coleman/Ortiz fight would get put back on but this is a good middle ground. Both are good wrestlers and can ground and pound. I would give Couture the wrestling edge but Coleman has the strength advantage. It will be interesting to see what happens if this fight does happen. Kind of looking forward to it now that you brought it up Guy, hope they both sign on.

Good fight. Most fights that involve two wrestlers usually end up being a stand-up war, and I don't think this will be any different. While I think Randy would be able to take Coleman down or hold him against the cage at will, I don't think he will look to win the fight that way this time around like he did against Brandon Vera. I'm sure Randy's confident with his stand-up in a fight against a guy like Coleman, who has never shown any striking ability throughout his career, whereas against Vera, Randy knew he was inferior to Vera on the feet, so he fought in a way to win, rather than in a way to excite the fans. This fight, I strongly feel, will be a completely different story. I think we will see complete domination on Couture's part, and that he'll give us fans a little of everything in it. I have a feeling it's going to be a fun fight to watch.

Also, let me give Mark Coleman some credit. He has shown in his last two fights that he's a lot better than most people thought, including myself. But still... he's in over his head on this one. He won't be able to take Couture down, and Couture will be able to dictate where this fight takes place and how he wants the fight to go. Like I said... I respect Coleman, but this fight will be complete domination on Couture's part.

Okay, so Machida vs. Shogun 2 is now set for May 1st.

The event has not been announced, which gives me hope that it ends up on free TV, like Tito vs. Shamrock 3 did. The UFC is usually good about that kind of thing, so I expect no different from them this time around. But at the same time... I definitely understand if it headlines a pay-per-view show. But a man can dream, can't he?

Anyway, I predict, and will be rooting for, Machida to take this one decisively.

Oh blasphemy!!! Well I hope this fight does happen on May 1, the sooner the better and as for your wishful thinking, well I am wishing right along with you. If this fight is on free tv it will draw some incredible numbers regardless of name value. People just have to see that the Light Heavyweight title is on the line and people will watch regardless of if they are fans or not. And as for you hoping Machida wins, JMT, I will be rooting for Shogun. Yes, I know Machida fights extremely smart fights but his style does not interest me. I like Rua way more and hope he can finally win the belt that should be his in the first place.

I'm very excited, the UFC is finally coming to Boston next year. If any of you guys are or know someone who is a UFC Fight Club member, is it worth the $75 to ensure that you get tickets to events?

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick on Monday signed a bill passed last month by lawmakers to officially regulate mixed martial arts in the state, clearing way for the UFC to debut in Boston in 2010.

“Gov. Deval patrick just signed the MMA bill in Mass.! I am so excited words can not describe! Here we come Boston! NY is next! Think about where we started. One state to go then Ontario!,” wrote UFC President Dana White on Twitter.

Though a date has yet to be determined for the event, the card is expected to take place in the summer, with White, a Boston-native, previously stating that Fenway Park and TD Garden were under consideration as venues for the show.

I'm not sure how they'll be able to pull off UFC at Fenway, but that would pretty much be the coolest thing ever.

Also, in kind of annoying news:

Jake Rosholt found himself the latest victim of the UFC's constant roster trimming. Rosholt announced on his twitter account that he was cut from the promotion.

Rosholt (6-2) went 1-2 in the UFC and last fought at UFC 102, where he was submitted by Kendall Grove. Jake received $15,000 of base salary in the loss to Grove.

Jake Rosholt was a NCAA Division I wrestling champion at Oklahoma State and was a four-time All-American wrestler. Many considered Rosholt to be one of the top wrestling prospect within the organization.

I like Rosholt for the most part, thought he was a really decent fighter, and I became a fan of his when he subbed Leben. He also looked real good against Grove until he slipped up. What annoys me is that he has a loss-win-loss pattern in the UFC, and yet, Leben is on a two fight losing streak, and has failed drug tests before. I think he even came out and said he really didn't train for his last fight.

Very unfair that Rosholt gets cut like that and Leben continues to have a job. He hasn't been good in a long time.

Also, it's obvious that Grove's role is as the gatekeeper of the division. The last three guys he's beaten wound up getting cut.

Edit: Make that two... forgot Tanner died.

Yeah, that is horseshit that they cut Jake Rosholt. The dude looked great against Chris Leben and looked good against Grove until that sweet Triangle, which there is nothing wrong with getting subbed by Kendall Grove. He looked like a very solid fighter to me and has a bright future. UFC did this to Thales Leites a few months back and it pissed me off. Rosholt proved he could beat good fighters yet a lose win lose pattern gets him cut? Please, the UFC needs to get there act together.

Hmmmmm, I don't know if I agree with Kendall Grove being a gatekeeper, yet that is. I would give that honor to Rich Franklin. Kendall Grove has never fought for the belt and can't really determine the real deals from the posers like a Rich Franklin can, but he may have this duty someday. Good fighter but I don't see him ever being champion unless he improves by leaps and bounds.

Finally, since you had to name drop Evan Tanner, I got to say RIP Tanner, we miss you in that octagon.

Well, you don't know what was going on behind the scenes. I mean, maybe Jake Rosholt bitched about his last paycheck, and demanded a new contract? You never know, and since you don't, you can't fault the UFC for cutting him.

Besides, Strikeforce could use anyone they could get their hands on that's worth a shit, and Jake Rosholt is definitely a fighter they could use. And Strikeforce getting fighters like that is better for MMA as a whole, if you ask me, so regardless of the situation, you won't hear any bitching from me about this.

Oh War Machine/Jon Koppenhaver, thank you so much for being such a ******. I think this is the end of the line for him and his wacky antics.

It all starts with this:

WatchKalibRun said:
There is a point where an athlete or celebrity has reached such a point of insane anguished activity that they are no longer able to shock you.

WKR thought that Jon "War Machine" Koppenhaver had reached that point long ago. We were right.

On Saturday night War Machine attended a birthday party for a fellow adult actress. Koppenhaver's girlfriend (who knew?), Alanah Rae was also in attendance. Apparently War Machine was in an agitated state due to his agent not getting him enough work. This is where things become hazy, very hazy. War Machine allegedly hits his girlfriend, which causes a whole bunch of drama. For the record TerezOwens claims Rae confirmed the blow but Rae denies it on her twitter account.

Several male actors go out to confront War Machine over the alleged blow and things turn nasty fast,

"War Machine's own agent, Derek Hay, looked to be the primary target with a couple of shots to the head. Mika Tan's Ex was KO'd as well & sent to hospital. I never saw anything like it. War Machine was in kill mode. His fists were lethal weapons. Anyone who tried to get between him and Derek got taken down - hard...One guy was clocked and had three teeth knocked out. Another guy - an Asian - had his nose broken.

It seemed that every time someone tried to advise War Machine to mellow out or tried to talk sense to him, they got hit for their efforts. Maybe six guys in all got punched...The incident wound up with War Machine and Derek playing hide and seek with one another around a dumpster. Then at some point, both War Machine and Derek took off when someone threatened to call the cops."

Pretty fucked up to say the least. Well now, War Machine's been on the run ever since then and is now wanted by Las Vegas Police.

According to Metro, 28-year-old Jonathan Koppenhaver got into a violent fight with his girlfriend and attempted to strangle her.

He also has a record that includes obstructing a police officer and possession of a stolen firearm.

Koppenhaver is a white adult male standing 5'11" tall and weighing 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

His last known address was in the 5000 block of West Hacienda in Las Vegas.

Koppenhaver goes by the names "War Machine" and "War Hammer," and also has a very distinctive hand grenade tattoo on the left side of the neck

Metro says Koppenhaver should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 385-5555.

I hope they realized that he fucking legally changed his name to "War Machine" and therefore, it's going to put an APB out on someone named "Jon Koppenhaver".

Either way, this is going to end very badly for him, and he's already posted suicidal messages on his Twitter just last week. He's going to jail for a while.
