This fight is going to be like 20 seconds long. Holm hasn't been impressive at all so far in the UFC and Ronda's elite ground game is going to ruin any shot Holm has at the title. Just call the fight now because Ronda has this in the bag.

It's official, DC vs. Jones 2 on July 29th at UFC 214.

Edit: This Summer Kickoff press conference was insane. Fight broke out, Jones/DC trash talk, Nunes and Shevchenko push and shove. So much hype and as always like 60% of these fights will not happen.

We are seeing the greatest female mixed martial artist of all time in Joanna. She's better than Rousey in nearly every category. What a joy to watch. Best striker in the world for both men and women. Joanna is on another level and is going to end up holding two belts when the UFC start the women's flyweight division.
I'm utterly amazed at how great Joanna continues to be. If pound for pound was anything meaningful than it would be Jones, DJ, McGregor and Joanna. No female is better than Joanna and only Jones (greatest ever), DJ (second only to Jones) and McGregor (two division champion and one of the best ever) should be in the conversation for being ranked higher than her. McGregor side has confirmed they have agreed to terms for Floyd fight. We're a 'yes' from Money Mayweather from the biggest fight in combat sports ever.

Has anyone seen this Tenshin Nasukawa kid fight before? He is literwlly a kid, 18 years old, and is beating men who have almost fought for the same amount of time as Tenshin has been alive. 13 of his 17 wins have been by knockout. He is a kick boxer but has finished fights by submission and ground and pound. The kid is a freak and is the next big thing. Amateur record of 99 and 5, professional record of 17-0, 3 of which have been in Rizina against guys 26 years and older. I say he is a kick boxer because well if you see what he can do with his feet you would agree, but he has a very boxing looking stance while also mixing in some karate. It's weird but check this kid out.
Oh and this kid is such a freak you throws rolling thunders out during matches, more than just a once off.

I just read DJ said if Dana isn't giving him TJ then "close the motherfucking division". From bleacher so not the worst of sources but not the best. I'm Not arguing with ya, just saying some reports don't know what the hell is going on.

Basically what happened, as from DJ on the MMA Hour, was he was told "you either fight TJ or we will fold the division" and DJ's response was "close the motherfucking division."
At that point he was sick of all the bullshit going on with it and being told the flyweights don't sell. The threat of closing the division was either them calling his bluff of not fighting TJ or it exposed that they don't give a fuck about the flyweights. That's what DJ was saying.
They kept saying "TJ wants this" and DJ was like "Who gives a fuck what TJ wants. I'm the champ, I agreed to fight Borg and now you want to pull this shit?"

DJ could be marketable if they tried. The issue, to me anyway, is that he isn't the over the top personality that the UFC tend to love. He is just a fairly humble guy who likes to play video games and livestream on Twitch in his free time. You could market that. I think a lot of fans could relate to and rally behind the kind of nerdy gamer who is also a badass and is about to break a UFC record held by Anderson fucking Silva.
The UFC and Dana will do their best to spin this as Mighty Mouse being a selfish prick, they always do. I'm with DJ here though, especially after he revealed that Dana made the fight with TJ official without informing DJ.

DJ is very marketable. They just dont want to. He doesnt have to be over the top or anything, a silent composed killer is a very often used marketing too.

This Mayweather/McGregor fight is going to be huge. It had no right to be done. Mayweather, he got the fight done with Money Mayweather of all people. It's a miracle.
