Getting Noticed By Management
A guy that i immediatly fell in love with but never got to see much of. Mike Knox is one of the most talented big men to burst on the scene in a while, he's got obvious in ring talent and can cut a hell of a promo. Taz supposedly is pulling to get him to TNA, I havent heard anything about him going back to the WWE so i think thats outta the question. So without further ado, what should Mike Knox do with his career? (options above)

I have to disagree with you on this. I don't think Knox is very talented at all especially on the mic. I don't think WWE is a option for him, and I doubt TNA has much use for him as well. He would be a giant jobber for guys like Abyss and Matt Morgan.

His best option is to work indies or in Japan a few years to hone his skills.

For fuck's sake, how many of these do we need? Every single wrestler that gets cut from the WWE isn't going to TNA. It just isn't going to happen. It's a conversation we aren't gonna have, ya here me?

In actually, Knox is quite good when it comes to in ring work, at least according to some especially smarky people I know from another place. They acted like he was freak Jesus Christ after every match on Superstars. I'd think the indies would suit him just fine, as there's already far too many people in TNA. He just has nothing that special to bring to the table. Simply no room for him, at the moment, and likely ever.

I thought Mike Knox was pretty decent in the ring but the guy was nothing special. Quite honestly, the most memorable thing about him was that big ass Bruiser Brody type beard he was sporting.

As far as his work on the mic, eh I wasn't impressed. He has about the least intimidating voice of any wrestler in WWE history. His voice definitely didn't seem to belong with the rest of him.

As for where he should go, I wouldn't count on him showing up in TNA. I've read some stories on the net about Knox possibly heading to TNA and, a few weeks back, I read something with an interview from Hulk Hogan and he was asked if Mike Knox could possibly be heading to TNA. According to the article, Hogan didn't have a clue who he was. Of course, that in and of itself doesn't mean he couldn't wind up in TNA. But, I think he'd be better off in the indy scene right now. TNA's roster is bloated as it is with tons of people hardly getting used.

The only thing i remember him doing was stopping kelly expose...the prick!

I don't think he is talented...he is sure not scary...and in the pg era..you don't need a hairy beast running around doing nothing...you seriously see him holding a championship belt...he couldn't win a title in the indies...

Knox' greatest claim to fame would have been being a finalist in a national beard growing competition, because in the professional wrestling world he certainly didn't do very much of anything to warrant this discussion, let alone the idea of signing him to one of the two major players in the WWE and TNA.

Taz' backing aside, I'd stay far away from Knox, personally. Don't see what he'd bring to TNA at all outside of grooming tips for facial hair and yet another roster spot on an already bloated squad.

I'm getting really tired of all of these type of threads. What has Mike Knox ever done that makes anyone believe TNA, a company whose roster is already overbloated, would ever be interested in him? I think Mike Knox's best option is to go somewhere like Ring of Honor who could actually use him effectively. Ring of Honor certainly could use the little name recognition he has, and their roster could be enhanced with a guy like Mike Knox where WWE and TNA wouldn't be. It would also be kind of fun to see Necro Butcher vs. Mike Knox.

I dont think Knox would add anything at all to TNA, he doesnt strike me as someone who has something special. He could surprise me and go on to have a decent fued with somebody, probably another big guy like Abyss, but nothing jumps out at me for him in TNA. He really should try to get into better shape though. I am a fan of the beard though, it does give him something a little different

Mike Knox is a potentially brilliant wrestler, and I'm suprised that nobody has voiced this already. Look at him, he is a big burly guy with a pretty unique look thanks to his beard and that is often enough when it comes to making main event heels. Seriously, already he's better than Matt Morgan, but there's so much more.

In the ring, he's not world class, but he's certainly better than, say, Abyss. However, this isn't what should make him a must attain for anyone that owns a wrestling company, it is his voice and calm demeanour. Seriously, people are slating that aspect of his character, but a softly spoken man that's actually a monster is a hugely intimidating person, just look at Mike Tyson. The way Knox should be booked is as an intelligent, and softly spoken, but fundamentally twisted sociopath. Book him like that and you have a genuinely intimidating heel.

I don't for one second believe that TNA or indeed any current wrestling promotion has that sort of vision for Knox, and he'd ultimately go the way of all big heels wherever he went, which is a crying shame. Knox shouldn't go to TNA unless they were going to utilise his full potential, which I doubt they would.

How on earth is Mike Knox a better option than Matt Morgan in any single facet of either of their arsenals? You're nuts, man.

Things Morgan can do that Knox can't:

1. Big(ger) spots.
2. Actually talk on a mic and make people care about what he's saying.
3. Be used throughout the card, including the main event.

Things Morgan has that Knox doesn't:

1. A personality worth selling.
2. Charisma.
3. Enthusiasm.

I'm sorry but Matt Morgan is horrendous. He's average in the ring, not very good on the mic, and if it wasn't for his size he would not have a job. He is a perfect example of a guy who is all look and not much else. No one got to see much of Knox on the mic in the WWE but from what was seen he wasn't too bad and certainly better the Morgan. He also is far better in the ring. I think you're getting it twisted when comparing the two. Mike Knox is definitely better then Morgan.
