Yeah, Micheal Cole creates the wrong type of heat..the kind of heat that makes me change the channel heat. Hollywood Hogan use to draw 'real' heat when he turned heel and it was irritating but the kind of irritating where you hated him so much you felt angry and wanted to do something about it. After Survivor Series 97, Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels had real heat, the kind of heat where you hated them so much and they were so irritating that you wanted to do something about it. Both cases, i would never think of flipping the channel. These personalities did their job like very few before or after. But there are not many characters who've been drawn out for so long and haven't been well received like Michael Cole. You'll be watching Raw and it'll start to get a bit interesting and he shows up and just ruins the segment. He doesn't add anything to it. It's like the whole program is getting interesting and he shows up and it's his time to draw heat for himself but it's just so pathetic i end up feeling sorry for him after every segment because week after week his execution of a heel character rubs me the wrong way and leaves me uncomfortable. Yes he is doing his job, poorly, but yes he gets under my skin. His poor performance gets under my skin and makes me angry. I don't so much hate him or anything he's doing really, sort of like how I hate Cena because of how WWE pushes this average anybody down our throats and not so much because i hate him the person. But Cole is weak. He's way too dramatic, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and he's not that good at doing anything but being a poor actor delivering his poor script poorly. But that's it, Cole is reading a badly written script written by a poor script writing team headed by a poor group of decision makers who hire nutsuckers like the Miz and Sheamus and push them on us as if we don't care if the wrestlers we love or hate have real personas or not. Anyway, the character Cole is being forced to play irritates me to the point that i zone out or flip the station. I could care less if someone hits him, i could care less if someone gets the better of him. I just want to see another segment so i go watch sportscentre till his sad segment is over. He's not irritating like any heel in the history of wrestling. In my opinion, the guy has no business being in front of a television camera. He's boring, he's disinteresting, he's even worse at playing a heel as he was being a play by play guy. WWE should just cut him loose, he adds nothing to the product. If you're gonna dispose of Fit Finley for something as stupid as the Miz interrupting the American anthem, then why not dispose of Cole since he's just a big waste of TV time. Somebody dropped the ball on this guy being hired years ago and someone's dropping the ball keeping this guy around and giving him even more airtime. Even Mark Madden was a better commentator during his 6 week stint and he gets more real heat 11 years later and Madden's a nothing. So what does that make Cole?? I say fire Cole and hire Madden. I'd rather see Lawler kick Madden's ass. Wouldn't flip channels for that...
