I'm really excited about this movie. I know the second in the series was regarded as a total flop, but the original is an American classic in parody/comedy films. Will Smith has consistently been one of my very favorite actors, as he seems to be able to pull off just about any genre of movie - he's an excellent dramatic actor, but also hilarious when the script calls for it.

I don't know why I never noticed this, but Josh Brolin is an absolutely perfect cast for a young Tommy Lee Jones. Putting aside the fact that Brolin isn't actually young at all, he still looks (and acts) extremely similar. From the few short clips we get in this trailer, I have a feeling he's going to do a fine job. Emma Thompson is an interesting choice for Agent Oh; I quite like her.

Jurassic Park writer David Koepp joins Men in Black's Lowell Cunningham in what could be a decent writing staff (Koepp is hit or miss, but let's hope for more Mission:Impossible, and less Kingdom of the Crystal Skull-fuck). Barry Sonnenfield returns to direct, but all we really know about him is that he gets the MIB vision - he really hasn't done anything else of note.

I don't want to over-analyze a Men in Black movie, so I'll just simply so in closing: this looks like a lot of fun and I can't wait to see it in theaters in May!

Well, If Will Smith is going to reprise roles from his successful franchises in the past, I would MUCH rather see a another Men In Black, because Bad Boys III will probably be horrendous. Ugh, another Michael Bay film...

Anyway, like most people, I couldn't stand Men In Black II, but MIB III could be an improvement. The time travel storyline is intriguing, Jones and Smith always share good chemistry together in these films, Josh Brolin is the perfect choice for a young Tommy Lee Jones, and this should be an enjoyable sci-fi comedy. Also, this is the first MIB film in ten years, so the anticipation will be there.

MIB 3 isn't a top priority for my must-see summer blockbusters this year, but MIB III should provide a fun and laughable experience, and I will make the trip to theaters to watch this film. Hell, I might watch this in 3D, if I'm in the mood.

I am one of the few that didn't enjoy the first but really liked the second. Not sure why, I saw the first in the theater and the second at home.

The preview looks good. A lot of the same old, same old. Smith over does it with the cheesy one-liners but I guess that helps to sell the movie. The big change seems to be the 60's setting with Brolin playing the Jones role.

I'll probably wait until it comes out on DVD but the movie should be some good mindless fun.

I actually enjoyed Men In Black II much more than Men In Black I. Both are classics, but I always seem to recall thinking of the franchise as being one of the only ones where the second one is better than the first one. Granted, I watched them a long time ago, but I'll stick with my opinion regardless.

Anyway, as for Men in Black III, well it has Will freakin' Smith, the most versatile actor of all time and Tommy Lee Jones, who isn't too shabby himself, reprising their roles in the franchise, which I'm glad for. Josh Brolin is very hit and miss for my likes, so I'm not too happy about that, but I'm guessing the focus really won't be on, what with Will Smith being the big cheese here. I hope it's not one of these ''here, you take over the franchise'' deals, that hollywood seems to have going on with Jeremy Renner and Shia LaBeouff. The franchise needs to die here, with this being a little comedy relief from the stacked summer blockbusters we have in store. It deserves one last nostalgia run and to make the third movie that everyone wants. Period.

Like GSB said, it's going to be more of the same which I'm fine with. They found a sound and unique formula for the first two films and there's no need to mess with it now. It may get a little lost in the shuffle, but I say that about every film for this summer. Seriously, how many blockbusters does the film industry need!? I'll be catching this one, though. Will Smith is the jack of all trades and the master of all too, so I'm confident in his ability to produce a quality movie.
