WZCW Meltdown emanates LIVE from the Reno Events Center in the biggest little city in the world, Reno Nevada! It's a full sell out tonight and we're jam packed with 7,500 WZCW fans waiting for action.
Copeland: Welcome to another exciting edition of WZCW's premier television broadcast, Friday Night Meltdown! I'm Sebastian Copeland and this, unfortunately, is my broadcast partner, Jack Cohen.
Cohen: Great to be here in Reno, Nevada, Seabass, but I sure wish I wasn't sitting with you! I wish they'd have let me bring one of those lovely ladies I met last night outside the casino to be my partner...
Copeland: No one wants to hear about your romantic exploits, Jack. Fortunately, I've got a big announcement - you heard it here first, folks, at Civil Revolution, Steamboat Ricky is defending against BOTH Carmen Bratchny and Everest!
Cohen: What a match, Copeland! And what an opportunity for WZCW's greatest athlete, Carmen Bratchny - your next world champion!
Copeland: Could be, partner! But speaking of champions, our world tag team champions are in action up next!
Garth Black and Phoenix vs The Full House Daves - Non Title
Harrys: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall!
Black and Phoenix make their way out.
Harrys: Introducing first, the team of Garth Black and Phoenix!
Copeland: Another exciting new tag team here, Jack. One has to think that if they can come out with a victory here, they'd be considered top contenders for the tag team titles.
The FHD make their way out next.
Harrys: And their opponents, the WZCW World Tag Team Champions, Ace David and Big Dave, the Full House Daves!
Cohen: Doesn't matter if these two nobodies challenge for the titles - the Daves can take on anyone, anywhere!
The bell rings and its Ace and Black to start things off. Black hits quick jabs on Ace to take the advantage. He backs Ace into a neutral corner, and then whips him across the ring into the other. He follows up with a big splash in the corner. Ace staggers out and Black plants him with a bulldog. He goes for a cover but gets only two. Black goes up to the top rope, but Big Dave distracts him. While they argue, Ace David shoves Black and crotches him on the top rope. Ace climbs up top, hook Black…and drops him with a superplex! He covers Black but only gets two. Ace is in control now, as he stomps Black’s leg and foot repeatedly. He hits a leg drop on Black and goes for the cover, but gets only two. He drops his fist across Black’s face several times, then backs into the corner and waits for Black to stand. Black staggers up and gets nailed with a big spear from Ace. Ace pulls Black up by his arm and brings him to his corner, where he tags in Big Dave.
Cohen: Oho, I would not want to be in Garth Black's position right now - on the wrong end of a beating from Big Dave Ball.
Dave lands several big punches on Black before delivering a big enzuigiri kick. He lets Black get up, knees him in the gut, and elevates him for a powerbomb. Black elbows him in the head, however, and slips out. He kicks him square in the back and drops him with a reverse DDT. Both men are on the ground, and Black struggles to his corner. Dave is just rolling up as Black tags in Phoenix. Phoenix comes charging in and clotheslines Dave. Dave stands up quickly and Phoenix dropkicks him. Dave gets up again and gets met with a big kick to the face. Phoenix covers him but gets only two. He stomps Dave a bit and then hits a standing moonsault for another two count. Dave gets up, and Phoenix catches him in the Incinerator! Black charges across the ring to take out Ace, who he knocks to the floor! Phoenix climbs to the top rope, and hits the Final Flight on Dave! He covers Big Dave for the 1, 2, 3!
Harrys: Here are your winners, the team of Garth Black and Phoenix!
Copeland: And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen, your winners - Garth Black and Phoenix. And I'm receiving word right now that with this victory, these two have earned the right to challenge for the world tag team championship, at Civil Revolution.
Cohen: They got lucky, Seabass! And they won't get lucky twice! Lightning never strikes the same place, and on pay-per-view, these two will get what's coming to them!
