above is a link to Matt Sydal's match in Japan a couple days ago. 21 minutes,
they did a great vignette tribute for him from his time in 2005 to 2007, specifically 2007 when he won wrestler of the year.

as Matt Sydal mark I can explain why he belongs in Japan more than anywhere else. Matt has a huge style of technical-highflying with striking, over 200 moves and he keeps adding stuff. he's a 14 year veteran, he's worked in america, germany, england but Japan is really what fits him.

I hope we get more matches with him and richochet, I am seething for a kota ibushi match and of course I'd love to see him myself at PWS here in New Jersey but Japan in my opinion is his place.

I like the artist formerly known as Evan Bourne ( yes I am aware he had the sydal name before coming to wwe) and honestly him, and guys like mcyintyre, etc, would be better off in Japan where they appreciate wrestling more anyways.

I totally agree. He could even be big in Mexico.

It's a shame he wasn't born a decade earlier. He would have been huge in ECW and WCW when they had their Lucha libre matches.

According to Meltzer hes already agreed to return to ROH full time once his no compete clause expires. He was going to return at Best in the World but ROH apparently rang WWE to confirm everything was legal and WWE informed Sydal and ROH he had a no compete clause. He had a spot in WWE, but he'll excel working again for ROH, doing the indies and some Japan. ROH can probably get him in the door of NJPW.
