hey legendkiller420, what is wrong with you? No one is impressed by anyone who swears constantly in threads, and if the only thing you can come up with is insinuating that people who disagree with you are gay and people who like matt hardy must want to have some sort of sexual encounter with him makes you lose all credibility. Just something to consider, if you want people to take your posts seriously and not some inane rantings of a hopped up juvenile.

I dont hate the guy, yes he is loyal, but that doesn't always

It makes you seem like yuou just got out of junior high and your mommy is starting to let you use cuss words. Also i m not on crack for having an opinon that difffers for yours. Undertakers off in a fued with Kane, they dont want to give the title to ReyRey, and big show, well hes just Big show. He puts young people over in the ring.
He works hard whilst training outside of the ring.
He knows how to sell very well in the ring.
He's very well respected in the backstage areas outside of the ring.

The man has done nothing wrong except not capture you as a fan. Well, I'm sure you're not the first that doesn't care so much for Hardy. Hell, I don't get the love for Bret Hart but I'm not making haters threads about him.

I'm thinking you're just trying to get noticed and recognised because you truly can't debate. Have you noticed the lack of curse words in this post... or many other posts by myself and other posters who are all verbally ripping you to pieces. I find it funny that you've actually hunted down a wrestling forum and thought it'd be a great and funny idea to play like a heel role. Sure that's fun. In real life you're a quite little good boy who always does as he's told and never does anything aggressive. But online. Oh, online. It's so wonderful. You can totally reinvent yourself. Unfortunately, doing that doesn't get you any respect. What really gets you respect is hard work, professionalism and above all else, respect for others. That is why Matt Hardy is so popular. He personifies all three of those areas.

Sure, he's out of shape due to major surgery but what you may not know, and this is a fact that is very findable, Matt Hardy works through so many injuries, so much so that he nearly had his foot torn apart recently and has the decency to actually apologise to his fans because he'll most likely have to take time off. He is perhaps one of the most decent men out there in any sport or any form of entertainment. In a world where celebrity demands are getting more and more ridiculous by the day, Matt Hardy hasn't demanded a thing from anyone and just wants to be out there for the fans day in, day out. The sacrifices that man makes have earnt him my respect. I'd never make him champion but he's definitely one of the first names in my future hall of fame list.

nope evan bourne isn't a great wrestler but he is entertaining just look at that air bourne rko him and randy did im sure they did it alot before the show but it was a omg moment and the e in entertainment is a shoe in for omg moment of the year or whatever they call it not to sure what its called may be wrong idk im not really a evan bourne fan but atleast he is entertaining in the ring he will prolly have a better career than matt hardy in the commin years imo but thats just me

You're a terrible debater. You use nothing to back up your claims. You dismiss the opinions of myself and others without offering any alternatives or rebuttals. This has just become four pages of you just repeating Matt Hardy is Shit in different ways. The reason that this has gone on for four pages is simply because we're all enjoying the fool you're making of yourself.

Fact is that there are lots of guys who don't work through their injuries. Some guys go under the knife a couple of times a year. Sure, on the odd occasion it is required. Undertaker and Mysterio are a couple who spring to mind.

Matt has been working with WWE full time since 1998 and has had 3 occasions where he's missed in ring time due to injury. One was a knee problem and was cleared up in a matter of weeks. The other two more lengthy problems were a staph infection and then a burst appendix. Nobody could work through those. But there have been countless times where he has sprained or fractured something and just worked through it, using it as part of his matches. Sure, others have done the same and they earn my respect too... but we're not talking about them. We're talking about Hardy. I'm sorry you don't like him, just like others are sorry I don't care for Bret. Get over it and go find something else to talk about on here.

Oh so I get you now. The big legdrop Matt did off the steel cage to Edge wasn't a holy fuck moment. Or any of his other matchs with Edge weren't. Nah your right. Matt Hardy hasn't entertained us at all since he has been with WWE. That TLC w(well both) weren't great matches.

Guys, COME THE FUCK ON ALREADY. Wake up and realize that Matt Hardy is finished!! How many pushes can you give him? How many more titles will they wrap around his waist? And how much television time will be wasted while all of that is going on before you realize that Matt Hardy has never been a draw, isn't a draw now, and will NEVER BE a draw?!? It doesn't matter that he's not as ripped as he used to be. It doesn't matter that he was injured, or suspended, or got dumped by his girlfriend again. The guy doesn't draw money... PERIOD. Sure, kids cheer him when he enters the ring. But then what? CRICKETS.

I really don't think it could have been said any better then it was. Yes Matt may be hurt right now, but he seems to be getting hurt a lot in the past few years, and if thats so, then maybe it's time to hang up the boots. Yes there are others like Undertaker who are on their way out too, but 'Taker is THE face of Smackdown, and they need him right now. Hardy is not needed as much.

I've always found Matt and his brother Jeff to be extremly entertaining in the ring. I also think that Matt has a personality unlike a lot of the people in the WWE. Matt's mic skills are also awesome. I prefer Matt to be a face instead of a heel though I think that he is better as a face then a heel and so is Jeff.

Matt really has a lot of heart and you can tell he puts a lot into his matches. I hope that he does get that push one day and becomes WWE or World Heavyweight champion, he really deserves it. I am and always will be a Matt Hardy fan.

All i can say is all you hardy haters are expressing your opinions and we are expressing ours. Never say never in the WWE. If someone like Swagger can get into the main event, even for the short while he was, can make it, then someone as over and talented as Hardy can too. Like i said, short short reign. Much like Myestrios Reign. Hell even give him a Kane reign and give it to him for a week even. Just so he can complete his resume and retire knowing he wore the metaphorical brass ring.

True...Matt isn't the same as he was in the past. Then again, many people now are not the same as they were in the past. Do I think Matt may have changed for the better? Not necessarily. Do I think he's a skilled wrestler? Without a doubt. But I think that he's severely lacked in focus and it does show in his MANY side projects he does in his off times. I have no doubt he's loyal to the WWE product, otherwise he would've left a long long time ago. However, sometimes there are actions that show whether his judgment may not always be the clearest and it makes you wonder if he's feeling a bit burnt out. But it seems like lately he's either injured, or out for anything else. I feel bad because I know I'm guilty of poking fun at him at times, but at this point in his career after quite a few injuries he had, and the number of extreme matches (no dq, tlc, street fights, etc) you can really tell the toll its taken on his body. I almost wonder if its not the creativeness or what have you, but just take the time to listen to your body, one of these days you will wish you took the time to listen to it sooner.

I think what everyone is trying to say is that he actually doesn't suck. And much of the posters in the thread feel he shouldn't get a title shot but he doesn't suck. But I do with you when he say he has never been a draw before. What about the Hardy's? They were one of the biggest things during the TLC matches WWF had.

I like most other posters believe he shouldn't get the title shot, but feel he doesn't suck and should get the respect he deserves.

Whilst I am of the opinion that Matt Hardy isn't the most entertaining wrestler on SD! right now, there is no doubting his loyalty and effort over the past decade. He has been responsible for some excellent moments - TLC with E&C and Dudleys stands out in particular - and has entertained me. I am happy for him to be where he is right now and the fact that he is still with the WWE and not heading to TNA with Jeff and Shannon Moore is commendable.

For me, Matt is better all-round than Jeff so he should at some stage have had a World/WWE Title shot. However, I've always thought that Matt as a singles star had always been missing something, the 'it' factor if you will, something to make him stand out more than a decent guy doing a decent job. His recent slowing down - understandable due to injuries and such - hasn't helped him. I think it's a problem that Christian is suffering from as well. Both Matt Hardy and Christian are kinda in the shadow of the more successful partners in Jeff and Edge.

What I'd like to see is Matt and Christian feuding together with the opportunity to get that shot they both desire and probably deserve. They did begin teasing it a few weeks ago and I hope they follow up on it though it has gone a bit quiet. I'd like to see a situation where it starts as a friendly rivalry with Matt and Christian trying to get one-up on each other - this would help to move them up towards the upper echelons of SD! This could lead to a falling out - either one could convincingly play a heel - and some kind of feud over a few months. Can you remember when Booker T and Benoit (I think) had the best of 7 series? Something like that which culminates in a TLC Singles match for the deciding rubber? The WWE could use this to determine which one deserves the big push for the top title whilst the loser could - reputation enhanced - head into a legitimate IC title run.

For me, I'd love to see one of Matt and Christian given their chance but not both.

I think Matt is a really talented wrestler. Its because he has actually pretty decent mic skills (Not at the level of The rock or The miz off course) but he still pulls of good promos. watch the Peep show before Mitb.
And matt is really good in the ring. have you ever seen his matches as Matt Hardy V1 or the matches he had with edge.,
And Finally Matt is the 3rd best face in the SM roster. He gets huge pops when his music plays
