The Best At What I Do
and that's posting
Okay, before the Matt marks (I know you guys are out there, I see you clamoring for a world title push) flame the hell outta me, please just hear me out cuz I have nothing against the guy. I was watching WWE Superstars just now on the interweb since there's no WGN here and after Matt's loss to Ziggler, he threw a little fit in the ring. Then the announcers oh-so-subtly says "what does the future hold for Matt Hardy as his frustration continues?" I immediately thought dammit here we go again.
Not only does Matt hold the record for most drafts from show to show in the WWE, I also believe he holds the record for the most turns from face to heel to face to heel. Matt just recently turned heel earlier this year when he was revealed as Jeff's mystery attacker, then turned back face so quickly to help him that even shareholders couldn't buy into it. Now it looks like they got something planned for him again and it's looking to me like another pointless heel turn. Exactly what SD! needs, another midcard heel on a show where they outnumber faces almost 2:1. Best case scenario: Matt joins Punk's SE followers and joins in on the Jeff-trashing. Even that angle sucks because it'll seem stale due to recent events between him and Jeff.
This is why I say just let the guy go. It's almost painfully obviously he will never grasp that brass ring in the WWE. For his own sake, let him test the waters in TNA or even Taijiri's new wrestling crew and see where he goes. He has won every title (except IC) there is to win in WWE without breaking that glass ceiling which is bulletproof to guys like Matt, Carlito, Finlay and other guys who deserves it but we know will not happen. So what say you?
1) Should Matt be fired and try his luck elsewhere?
2) Am I wrong for thinking Matt will never get a title push? And if so, how do you see that coming about at this point?
3) Where exactly do you see this "frustration" angle heading?
