Maybe I'm missing something but I really thought more people would be talking about the potential rumour of Matt Hardy and, possibly, Jeff Hardy, heading back to the WWE.
As has been reported on the main page, Triple H has already "put the feelers" out to see if Matt Hardy would be interested in making his WWE return. The report also notes that the WWE have been impressed by the way Matt Hardy has handled himself in TNA lately and, presumably, are hoping to get some of the action in WWE. The Final Deletion is something that Matt and Jeff should be proud of and embarrassed with in equal measure. But the fact of the matter is that people were talking about them and TNA for the first time in a long while. It speaks volumes for the creativity of the Hardy brothers.
However, the report also makes mention of the fact that Matt is enjoying having some measure of control over his contract and has been enjoying showcasing what he can do without many restrictions.
At this point, I'd be very surprised if the Hardy Boys sign with the WWE again. For my money, the Hardy Boys are amongst the most over acts in the history of wrestling (yes, you heard that right). But I think they're also enjoying being big fish in a little pond, with no offence meant to TNA at all. A lot can be said about the restrictions on their characters that the WWE would put in place and that would likely be the stumbling block, in addition to the full time schedule that the WWE insists upon.
But what do you think? Could it actually happen? Should it?
