'Maru and friends' thread of randomness

Whichever. And I've gotta go downstairs now. :3 It's 08:39 AM here and I think SL has a match with Aussies. :D Good night/ Morning!

HS; Economics just because the teacher was awesome

College: any class I actually got to cook, which was most of them.

Ahh cooking how I love doing it. I'm so glad it seems that I've inherited my mom's cooking skills. My brother told me I surpassed her as his favorite cook, so that is cool. Though I haven't really branched out. I've made simple things like chili and cinnaburgers (my specialty). Can't be spending all my money on meals haha.

How'd the job thing go homie?

They need to check my refrences so I need to call back monday. She said she would have done it this morning but they are shot staffed and she was working.

I also went to High School with her son so that should help

Good to hear, hope that goes well for ya my friend. What are you looking at doing? You may have mentioned it, I'm just too lazy to go back.

Are you telling your potential employers that you are leaving for the army so soon? You shouldn't lie to them if they ask you a question that would lead to you having to tell them that you would leave shortly, but don't bring it up if you do not have to. It is unlikely that a business would want to take the time to hire and train somebody only for them to leave right away. Especially if they frequently get short staffed like you said that this place was, they will hire the person that they think will stick every time.

My grandmother said the same thing. I don't plan on telling them until I put my 2 weeks in around the beginning of June. If they ask me directly I'm not going to lie to them

Pretty sure that could be detrimental to any future employment you may have. If you need a reference for the future then do you think this place will give a good one to the guy who neglected to tell them about a pending departure?

I won't be doing drugs anytime soon.

my job doesn't want me to, My grandparents don't want me to & the army REALLY doesn't want me to

I enjoy smoking weed yes.

I know it will fuck up what I have planned for my future though so I just won't do it.
