They aren't the only ones; Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash were critical of TNA while in the company, long before they were gone, but I could see that being twisted into sour grapes.
1. ESPN doesn't have any deal with WWE.
2. He was fired because what he did was unacceptable.
I get it; because it's a wrestling show, all should be forgiven. Except, in wrestling, you have to trust the people you work with. Being unprofessional doesn't benefit anyone; all it does is make you look like a jackass.
And yes, Aries was being completely unprofessional.
