If this doesn't work out, IDR is willing lend his garage and/or basement to the cause.

The cost of office rental, including switching costs from changing locations, is an insignificant portion of a televised entertainment company's budget. I would expect that they're spending more on renting their production facility.

We all love LOLTNA, but the reasons behind this move could come down to something as simple as wanting better lunch options around the office. I doubt its a strictly money decision, because that would be like scraping couch pennies to pay the mortgage bill, and even I'm not that down on TNA.

A report has come out that they don't even have enough money for the next set of TV tapings. I'm not a fan of TNA, but them going out of business would absolutely suck. Not because they ever were or ever will be competition to the WWE juggernaut or anything, but more because it'll put a bunch of people out of work. And I'm not even that worried about the wrestlers, because they'll find work, it's the background people like janitors and guys in the warehouse and such that'll be hurt the worst.

Also:

As we noted last night, TNA will be moving its headquarters next month, and according to PWInsider.com, the company will also be moving its production office to NorthStar Productions inNashville. NorthStar is the biggest HD facility in the city, and TNA’s new headquarters will not be located in the same facility as its production office.

Well let's see.

They don't charge for tickets at the Orlando tapings.
They don't run house shows.
Their merchandise is only kind of a thing.
Their TV money in America can't be all that strong.

And now they're running out of money? Who could have seen this coming?

Those jobs were already absorbed by the wrestlers.

Seriously though, has there been any news about TNA in the past couple years that hasn't been able to be construed as a possible company ending issue? I mean, with the exception the new TV deals they reached with decreasing number of households reached.

By no means am I saying they're ending. I'm just sick of new news involving TNA that "could spell the end."

Saying they ran out of money would imply they ever made any. From everything I've read the company has only made a profit one out of the fourteen years they've existed. Their business model is a total failure and the only reason they exist is because the Carter family doesn't mind losing money continuously so long as it makes Dixie happy.

By the way guys, they were evicted, that's why they had to leave. That's got to boost your morale as a roster member.

Disappointing, since TV is finally trending upward in terms of quality, though it doesn't lack problems.

I worry that TNA won't make it out of 2016 without selling. If they can get an interested investor willing to flow a lot of cash in to get back on the road and sign some new talent, they could get back on their feet. Having American TV is still a big deal.

Can we not over speculate every move that TNA makes?
So they are movinh out of one place into another. Maybe it is to free up some cash instead of them lossing money?

I love this quote from the main page "says there could be truth to eviction reports from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer". Makes it sound like Meltzer is evicting them.

I feel bad for TNA and the people that work there. I remember a long time ago when I thought Impact put out a better show than RAW some weeks. I too am sick of the "TNA won't be around much longer stories" as well.

Dixie Carter looks like a nice person but she should have realized a long time ago she wasn't suited to run this company. Bringing someone else in might have done the trick, but since they lost the deal with Spike TV, doesn't look like anything they do is viewed with favourable interest.

The WWE needs competition, and right now they have it in NXT, even though it's the same company. Too bad that TNA couldn't have given them even a small run for their money, just even to keep Vince on his toes. Hopefully they find a way out of this. Maybe this move will be a good thing remains to be seen.

So if I'm getting the gist of your position you believe the sources saying they moved offices but not those exact same sources saying three hours later that they were evicted? Gotcha. Reasonable.

TNA apologists are so cute.

TNA is basically the equivalent of a summer camp for Dixie. Poppa Carter wants her out of his hair & as long as she is occupied with activities, he doesnt have to deal with her annyoing spoiled ass. Seems like it is worth the price he pays without ever seeing a return, otherwise he would have done something about it already.

That's a good way of looking at it. Personally I've always seen TNA under Dixie Carter as kind of like one of those trendy little boutique stores in Los Angeles and New York. The real owner is usually some movie star, rapper, or middle eastern oil sheikh who bought it for his wife or daughter as a playtoy. The wife/daughter just sees it as a place for her and her friends to hang out and as long as daddums/hubby is footin' the bills who cares whether or not it actually makes money?

Either way like you said Poppa Carter gets to keep her safely away from doing any serious damage to his real company.

Except Papa Carter hasn't been footing the bills for Dixie for some time now. Interesting theory. Makes for a good psychological evaluation experiment, I suppose, but has little value in making a realistic assessment of the state of TNA.
