Hello, my friends and welcome to the first Movie and TV Newsletter, under the stewardship of the new M&TV mod... Yours truly.
Firstly, I really want to thank everyone who has been posting in the Movies and TV forum this week. You have made my transition more than worthwhile and whilst I am hoping that you guys are getting as much fun posting in there as I am, I am also hoping that you continue to push there. It has been an awesome week to be a moderator and I thank you guys for making it really easy for me.
Anyway, enough with the soppy shit. Here's the newsletter.
The most-active thread has to be the Movie Roundtable, started by Stuntz. This thread Is really simple. Use the last letter of the last listed movie as the first in your selection. With people having a lot of movies to choose from, this thread has been brilliantly successful over the last few days.
Macios has brought you a few good threads over the last couple of days including a thread which look at your Best Cartoon. If you are a fan of cartoon, then I expect to see you there. Another one is a look at 2D vs 3D. With 3D becoming a bigger and more vital part of TV and cinema words, this thread should tickle your fancy.
Mitch also looks at how good Denzel Washington is in one of his best threads yet. I must admit that I found myself agreeing with his sentiment but maybe you feel differently. Whether you plan on posting in here or not, this thread is definitely worth a read at least.
FunKay also did me a favour and brought his Look At Villains to the Movies and TV Forum. This week, he is looking at one of the most sinister people ever caught on film. Please go ahead and look at this one if you like his Potluck thread or just want a good read.
A lot of guys have been really active this week and I had a lot of people to choose from for Poster Of The Week in the Movies and TV Forum. Nate, Macios, Mitch and a whole host of others have been setting it alight in there. However, there can only be one and this week, I am giving it to Nate.
Thanks for a great week, ladies and gentlemen. Join me next week for more.
