Just finished watching it and thought it was a great way to kick the show off. There's something really awesome about Mil Muertes watching over everyone like some psycho dictator (the Shao Kahn reference was perfect).
The stuff with Vampiro in the insane asylum was a great way to start it off, the Cuerno/Fenix match was a killer opener and the ending with Pentagon and Puma really got me excited for next week. This show is picking up where it left off and I'm loving the darker tones this time around.
I was really hoping we'd get Vampiro as Pentagon's master straight up. Not a fan of Cueto not being in the promoter position, Catrina doesn't really work in the position. It was brilliant nonetheless but things arent lining up with the previous season as smoothly as I would have liked
