Funny you should ask, I just posted in Sam's thread 4 choices of mine that I wanted to watch. They were Four Lions, Jarhead, Raging Bull, and Transiberian (which I have on DVD). Both Sam and Jake recommended Four Lions.

Those are all movies I haven't watched yet, though. What are you in the mood for? Thinking? Learning? Dialog? Action?
 
ive done enough thinking for one week! Ive seen Jarhead, and I own Raging Bull. Transiberian sounds familar to me, I may have seen it. Im curious about Four Lions, as I know the premise of it. Id argue Raging Bull was Deniro's best film, and Jarhead was pretty damn good as well.

I wound up seeing Harry Potter for the second time tonight. It was very good, but not a classic. Order of the Phoenix is still easily the best of the series.

Money? I don't know. Punk isn't established as a money main eventer yet, and Miz, while awesome, his drawing power isn't really guaranteed. Plus, one of them would have to turn, as a heel/heel feud wouldn't be good.

HOWEVER, I would like to see the 2 of them feud. Face Miz vs. Heel Punk would be great.
 
I responded, though it's not something I feel totally comfortable discussing in detail total strangers about for one reason or another, but I said my piece.

Im counting "Gigs", Jigglypuff", "Friendly Neighborhood JGlass", "Classy JGlassy" "JGiggles", and "Glass Ass". that makes 6 by my count! Im glad my name is one that its hard to really get a nickname out of!

There was a thread in the Raw section about how it needed to be done. The concept of the feud intrigues me, but the execution, especially the one proposed, made me pretty sad. As in sad that idiots like this dont have their hands chopped off.

We will find you a nickname good sir, if you weren't being the master of initials or flat out hating vowels altogether when you made your name it would be easier but it can still be done.

I agree with almost every point here. I like Punk, and think his match with Cena at MITB was one of the top 10 matches Ive ever seen in WWE. But every time he gets a push, he soon fades back into obscurity. Take his feud with Hardy, for example. Hardy was the hottest face in the company, and Punk did a great job as the antagonist. But once Hardy left, he had a "meh" feud with Taker, and the SES could have been so much more, and never quite clicked.

Although with Punk, I dont think hes being portrayed as a heel right now. A tweener, for lack of a better word, at worst.

Even though weve never met, I know a fair amount about you. Your answers were somewhat things I expected, but you surprised me somewhat as well. I enjoyed reading yours also, as you said enough without really giving away anything that, in my mind, would make you uncomfortable. Each person that posted in it did a very nice job, and I appreciate those who did. I enjoyed the unique takes each person had on their own "legacies".

It was an excellent post. I enjoyed reading it immensely. To be honest, it was exactly what I was looking for, as you were transparent and you conveyed your views well. I wish I could convey things that well. Even though my OP was long, I said "just enough", without giving too much away. You seemed comfortable in what you had to say.

Id be interested in seeing Sly and KB's views on this, myself.

I dont really want a nickname, Im just missing some Enterkey love in my User CP! No Gifs for 4 days has made me sad. :shrug:And to be fair, JMT preceded me with using just initials and numbers. LSN just works for me. Im thinking of dumping the 80.
 
Funkay my friend! How goes it with you? I havent seen you much this past week or so, have you been around? I was going to do your LD Raw opener for you since I didnt see you, then I realized it would have sucked badly, and thought better of it. ;)
 
How was the trip dude? Ive seen his, theyre very good, yours are better, IMO.
