Hahaha... I didn't mean it that way SavageTaker. If the Lord has posted in an area I am looking at that I consider posting in, I ALWAYS read his posts. I DO enjoy for the majority what the Lord has to say. I give him the same respect like you Savage or other well-respected posters.

However, he is still in the denial stage where the WWE & gimmicks are concerned. He needs to be in the acceptance stage as they seem to be tranisitioning somewhere away from the areas he is complaining about.

I like how everyone in here gives Sidious shit about his posting when he posts worlds better than the most of the people he's debating with. He has valid points and Doc's comeback about how JBL's not a gimmick is ignorant.

First of all, if you're in wrestling, you have a GIMMICK! I don't care who you are, you have a shtick, a gimmick, a character. TL Hopper is an example of a piss poor gimmick. Macho Man Randy Savage is an example of a good gimmick. People that say certain wrestlers don't have gimmicks don't really know what wrestling is. Unless you're dated back to the early days of Hackenschmidt and Gotch and Thesz, then you'd have a valid point, but every relevant wrestler in the past 30 + years has had a gimmick of some sort.

I don't think anyone is denying that he is a good poster...people just tend to get annoyed at the fact that everything seems to turn to what he thinks Vince wants wrestling to be, or the PG era is this and that...and all that stuff. He's a good poster and I don't think anyone is denying that, but he should try being more positive and try finding some positives in today's product.

I never gave the Lord shit. I praise him for his posts. Secondly, you dont have a gimmick just because you are wrestling. Look at now Cena, he doesnt have a gimmick at all, its a character. He is the hero, the guy you are supposed to look up to as he beats the baddies. If he were to wear a cap & have special powers that are legitimate powers, then it would be a gimmick [aka Hurricane]. However, he is a character. The Great Khali has got a gimmick. He is just a tall Indian... thats it. No gimmick.

His name's the GREAT KHALI! That's not his real fuckin' name! It's Dalip Singh. If he came to the ring as Dalip Singh, then yea, he would have no gimmick. But he's the GREAT KHALI. Why? It's his...wait for it...GIMMICK! FUCK, people. Cena's a gimmick. If he acted like that in real life, I'd punch him in the goddamn face. He's a gimmick or character. It's one in the same. No matter how ridiculous it is, it's a gimmick. Hurricane, the Rock, Austin, Hogan, Michael Wallstreet. It's a gimmick. John Cena's not superhuman, huh? Or made out to be anyway. All he does is get beat up for 10 minutes, then blows up, five moves of doom and finisher. And gets up as if he's just got out of the shower. And like I said, John Cena's outfits ARE a costume. he never wears that shit outside of a wrestling ring.

If Hulk Hogan's a gimmick, so is John Cena.
