Live Discussion: Smackdown 29/12/2007

I think it all depends on who writes it or if they have a ghost writer... I was always a Foley fan...

I didn't know Austin had a book.. I new Michaels did, and didnt the Rock have one also?

I wouldn't bother with Austins. Just get the DVD instead.

The HBK book is not my thing. I don't have the same beliefs has him.

The Rock book was shit. It ended in 1999 so just think how much shit would be missing today.

I think I remember how Foley began his first book... "I can't believe I lost my fu***** ear" After that i knew that book was gonna be good..

The reason that they chose to have an hour long match in England was because WWE knew that the fans would lap that shit up. If it turned into a complete mess then the kids in the audience would have still cheered throughout.
I probably would have cheered also....

meh, I was never a huge HBK fan anyways... I remember the Rock had his book years before he retired... So i would go so much crap would be missing... I never read Foleys second book, i had it, then we moved a little after, and i misplaced it..

I finally watched the last series of The Sopranos last night. I like to think that somebody came into that cafe and killed all of them.

The one where they both have cancer? Yeah looks funny.

The film, not the fact they are dying of cancer.

yeah the bucket list.. Ironic, I know...

Critics are not into the movie though from what i understand. but thats their job to find faults in movies..

When it comes to critics I follow what Empire says. They give a film 5 stars It's a 4. 2 stars and its average. 1 star it has Jessica Simpson in it.

Is the Tribute To The Troops anything other than a publicity stunt for WWE? Would they do it if they didn't get any exposure?

I think so, I think Mcmahon isn't appreciated enough when it comes to that. you know how much money it probably cost to do all that stuff? Its all free, so he gets no money back. I think he does it because it is the right thing to do..

He's worth millions. So the cost wont be an issue. But he might think that doing something like that will make him more accepted by people. He's loaded but I bet other millionaires still take the piss out of him. I think it could be an acceptance thing.

From The Vault: Taker vs. Orton. These matches used to be good. We'd get a good Cruiser match. Now we get a cap Hardcore Holly match, or an average Orton one.

I like how Bob Orton forgot he had Hepititis.

''Yeah I got hepititis, no biggie. Just don't get my blood in your mouth''

I dont buy that.. I would believe moving all those things would be fairly expensive. the plane ride or w/e. I don't know if all the superstars pay for their own flight, well i dont care, i would imagine they do, but i don't know.

I believe Mcmahon does it because it is a sign of being back home, because they probably don't get to see it on a regular bases
