rev to run Raw

Adding a political flavor to the already hotly contended realm of Monday Night Raw is Reverend Al Sharpton, who takes the reins of special guest host when Raw rolls into the Empire State's capital, Albany, N.Y

Triple trouble

Days before his first-ever Hell in a Cell Match, WWE Champion John Cena clashes with Randy Orton & Unified Tag Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show in a 3-on-1 Gauntlet Match. See how an RKO to The World's Strongest Man on the last edition of Raw put The Champ in this predicament.

I am gonna have to pass. Sharpton = No.

I'm not watching either. I really don't have an interest in seeing Sharpton.

But I am primarily passing because Chavo vs Hornswoggle, which has occurred every single week since the beginning of July, is still continuing on into October.

And also, because of the stale Main Event scene on Raw. Has there been one PPV this year in which Randy Orton has not been involved in the Main Event for Raw?

Horrendous commentary from King and Cole (Vince's fault, though). Justin Roberts is now the ring announcer for Raw over Howard Finkle or Tony Chimel.

Yeah, Raw is off indefinitely for me. Sick and tired of the same 'ol crap, just a different week.

I'll still watch ECW and might give Smackdown another try.

But TNA Impact is my new Raw. I've been much more happy with that show over Raw for a few weeks now.

I'll mainly be watching football but I'll be here for part of it. If they just had to have Sharpton, they picked the right show here with it being a go home show where nothing of note will happen. They still don't need this many PPVs though and it's showing.

We know.

Why the Justin Robert hate-on?

Who can say Extrrrrrrrreme Rules! any better than him?

No Way Out

Question answered.

Okay, so out of 10 PPV's, Randy Orton has been involved in the Raw Main Event for 9 of them.

Thanks for the response.

Seriously, what keeps people watching Raw anymore. I really don't get how people can enjoy watching the same show with the same matches, same people in the Main Event, same interviews, same horrendous commentary, etc. every single week. Other than a Guest Host, the show never offers anything new.

I am onto ECW, TNA Impact, and possibly Smackdown going forward. Raw can continue doing the same show every week, but I sure as Hell won't be watching it.

It's the times when they have flashes of brilliance. Also, a lot of people are fans of these guys and just want to see them. There was a saying about Ric Flair in the 80s that he could wrestle a broom and draw 10,000 people. Advertise names like John Cena, HHH, Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton and people will come to see them no matter what they're doing.

As for why I watch, I watch because I love wrestling very much and even bad wrestling is better than just about anything else on TV. Even in the blandness of the show, something will shine through. Right now I'm buying into the US Title feud very highly. DX vs. Legacy is cool as well and there's always hot women to look at. The main event is indeed boring, but this should be the blowoff for Cena vs. Orton on Sunday and we can get some fresh blood in there. That doesn't sound too bad to me, but I get why some wouldn't watch.

OK WE GET IT! You hate RAW, you don't need to tell us 100 times every week.

I'm not watching, cos I'm going to bed but you can be damn sure I'll catch it at some point tomorrow.

Not looking forward to the gauntlet, but I am looking forward to Hornswoggle. He's the most over bit of the show at the moment, he's mentioned in every single review. Good for the little fella.

I'm hoping for some good build to Kofi kicking arse at Hell in a Cell too. Probably too much to ask though.

Hell in a Cell is this Sunday, it feels like Breaking Point was last Sunday. That is the reason 3 weeks is not enough time to build a good fued.

Thank god for PIP, I can switch channels easily to Monday Night Football, and go back when Sharpton is done ruining RAW.

We're arguing about education on Raw. This is a waste of my time. I can't wait to see the ratings for this.
