Seriously though, these guys by like million dollar house and expensive cars then but don't realize how expensive it is just to live. I see people around here do it just on a much smaller scale. Anyway, the main reason I want Shockey is because of the presence he would bring to the offense. That's most important thing to me. He would open up so many things for guys like Reggie and our 5th option Pattan. And it's only because of Shockey's reputation.

Also, Shockey is a very good blocker from what I understand.

Saints really need the defense though, I mean if they can fix the D up with corners, they would go from an average team to a very good team. Again.

Definitely, but our Offensive line is questionable, and our Wide Receivers are terrible at this point too (Colston being the exception).

True. He needs a ring. He's proved that he's a great QB, one of the best in the league, now it's just time to take the next step.

I wouldn't goes as far as to say he needs a ring, just a dominant playoff performance or two. If he can get that under his belt, then that's when we all know for certain that the dude is the real deal. However, with the team he has around him, he is very capable of getting a ring this year.
