The best line I've ever heard was "Wanna go half in on a bastard?". Unfortunately, I'd guesstimate that 50% of women are too dumb to get it.
And, I completely disagree. Pickup lines are ace. Not because they work, but because if you have a good one, you'll get them to laugh, and then you got your conversation. A girl's not going to fall for a pickup line, but they will notice you if you deliver it properly.
