That's the link to his first K1 fight. It's poor quality and not terribly intresting.

Myself I was hoping he would get demolished. I want to see Lesnar back in wrestling. I'm a fan of MMA but I like wrestling considerably more. I want to see Lesnar wrestling back in WWE. So he can show Cena, Lashley & Batista what a big muscular guy can do if he really want to. I dont think Lesnar was anywhere near his full potential when he was in WWE. He'd only been on the main roster for 2 years. When you think where he could have been today it's a real shame.

I think i'd like to see him in MMA for now. So far he's proven himself he can kick ass not only in wrestling but MMA, because he plain out destroyed that guy in 2 minutes.

I have to agree with you there Jake as I was hoping his get ass beat so bad they he want a return to pro wrestling again yet sadley that looks like a no go. Lesnar was a beast when he was in WWE as tell me any one that can actually wrestle with the Big Show. I think Lesnar has a good shot for a carrer in MMA if he still has aheart for it as if he dont i can see him leaving and being done with it. One can only think what Lesnar be like today as he would be the MAN in pro wrestling as he was a big man that coudl carry a match and actually wrestle. It is a shame but you had to think he saw his future of jobbing to Taker when he came back, cena and much more.

I doubt it, honestly I think that Lesnar sold more than Cena or Undertaker, if anything they'd make a (Summerslam I think..?) kind of match again with lesnar and Cena, Of course I'd hope if he did somehow come back he would be a heel again, they really pushed Brock's "unstoppable beast" angle when he was a bad guy and not a "friendly beast" when he was a face.

I liked Brock better in wrestling especially now that i look back at his matches more. the man was jacked and could really move in that ring. If he came back i htink it would be a huge match probably at a wrestlemania or summerslam and be either against John Cena or a heel HHH.

I'm actually glad taht Lesnar won his first match. It sux as a wrestling fan, because without a doubt, Brock Lesnar is the best thing to hit the business the last ten years. No one made a two year impact, with maybe the acception of Kurt Angle, that Brock did. It sux as a wrestling fan that he demolished the guy, because this is his new career, and he can't come back and put to shame the Three Headed Monster known as Cena/Lashley/Batista.

As a cynical bastard, I'm glad Brock won. This was a giant Fuck You to Vince McMahon. MMA is coming on as a legit threat to the WWE. Vince tried to stranglehold Brock, thinking he was out of options, but here comes Brock, telling Vince Fuck You, as he pounds some poor chump into the mat.

Lesnar blew his shot at wwe when he decided to leave for his "successful" football career. Then he broke his no wrsetling agreement and somehow managed to wrestle for japan. His mma match was ok nothing really interesting just grounded his opponent was hoping to see him actually KO his opponent with a punch or something.

Lesnar didn't "blow" anything. Vince and Brock Lesnar had a very well known meeting to rejoin with the WWE, which Vince handed a contract for Brock Lesnar to come back, all he had to do was sign, but they didn't fully come to agreements and Brock left. Brock Lesnar could have easily been in the WWE a year and a half ago, but refused, and im very well sure Brock wasn't out of options as im pretty damn sure TNA would have loved having Brock Lesnar. So saying Brock had no options is pretty stupid
:)

He just seems way too overpushed got everything a guy could want when he was in wwe in such a short amount of time and simply just left it all.

Brock Lesnar could possibly sign with UFC today in Las Vegas and debut in December. Again, nothing has been confirmed, but that is the rumor making the rounds in Vegas today for tonight's UFC 74 "Respect" PPV event.

His first fight probably won't be against the likes of Randy Couture or Gabriel Gonzaga, although anything he said in his interview with MMAWeekly should be taken with a grain of salt now that we know he has on the same page as UFC President Dana White. His comments sure did generate a lot of buzz on the internet this week heading into an event that already has a lot of hype anyways.

Lesnar vs. Couture would be awesome. The only problem I have is that I never want Randy to loose. But Lesnar against anybody would be awesome. I might be wrong though but I though he wasn't allowed to compete in MMA in the States.

Lesnar has already competed in California defeating Min Soo Kim. I watched the UFC 74 Respect PPV last night and there was no mention of Lesnar. The UFC is not going to put him in the Octagon with Randy right away. In MMA you have to work your way up for real unlike wrestling where you can show up and win a title within weeks. I'm not saying he won't get signed, I'm just saying it will be a while before he fights the UFC elite.

For the record, if they fought at a PPV in three months, Randy would murder him.

Lesner would need in my eyes a solid 2 fights in the UFC before he could think about fighting a Randy Couture. Atleast one to get use to the UFC world and the 2nd against a 2nd tear fighter. With success in both he might be able to challenge Couture but i have my doubts in him beating Randy.

From Wrestlezone.com

It was confirmed during the UFC 77 "Hostile Territory" pay-per view that former WWE superstar, turned recent MMA star Brock Lesnar has signed a deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

No announcement was made on when, where or who he will fight against, but this comes as a complete shocker as no one had reported anything about this prior to tonight's event.

We will get on the story to try and get as many details for you as possible in the near future.

This is Interesting I do know that there were talks between Lesnar and UFC. But for this to be announced is a big thing for Lesnar in terms of MMA standing with him being in the Biggest promotion in the World. Though as will probably be pointed out Dana White will be giving him "Easy" Fights in tune ups for a title shot. I used the "" for Easy because as we have seen With Chuck Liddel and Mirko CroCop an "Easy" fight you can end up losing.

This is very interesting for sure. It should definately bring in some new audiences to UFC simply based on name factor (mostly wrestling fans who usually wouldn't be interested in MMA). I've only seen one fight that Lesnar was in and he looked decently impressive, though not overly so. I don't follow MMA/UFC as much as I did a few monthes ago but I still enjoy flicking on PRIDE or Fight Night, somthing along those lines every now and then. Add Lesnar to the equation and I'm sure I'd tune in.

Hey one new viewer is the first step to a million.

So any word on when his first fight will be and who his opponent will be?

UFC 77 was only today or Yesterday or something along those lines so there isn't going to be many details about fights or anything yet as I can see Dana White giving Lesnar those Tune Up fights I referred to as "Easy" before he puts Lesnar in the contention for a Title. He wanted to do that with Cro Cop so why not do it with Lesnar as that would sell PPVs.

This is going to be big.I don,t watch UFC but if Lesnar was there I,d totally watch it.It would be fun to see Brock fight for real. But he,ll get his ass handed to him.I just know it.

He's not going to jump straight to a title match like Ramage and Cro Cop did and would have done. He's had on e pro MMA fight so he will certainly have to get a few more under his belt.

I really can't wait for this. UFC can't lose with a Cro Cop/Lesnar fight. Cro Cop has lost two in a row and Lesnar is a rookie. If Lesnar wins he's defeated a superstar, if Cro Cop wins Lesnar lost to a legend.

The only fight he had he won.But it was againist a guy who is rubbish.Lesnar would beat Cro Cop.Cro Cop is way past his prime

I wouldn't say Cro Cop is past his prime. I think that his lack of steroids is affecting his performances. And the fact he can't back anybody into a corner in The Octagon.

Personally I think it would be a great fight. Cro Cop surley would win standing, and you would imagine Lesbar would win on the ground.

Lesnar in the UFC is going to be a plus for buyrates. When he fought in K1 on PPV people at my gym ordered the show eventhough they had no idea what K1 was. With the exception of Royce Gracie, they had no idea who ayone else on the card was.

As far as who he fights, I think Dana White will give him "tune up" fights in hope that he wins two straight so he can give him a title shot. Depending on who the champ is at the time, Lesnar as UFC champ is not to far fetched seeing as their heavyweight division is weak after Antonio Rodrigo Nogueria.

As cool as it would be to see him in the title contention i hope he has atleast 4-5 fights before hes considered for it. He is big and strong but experience is goin to kill him early. If they out him in the title contention and he wins the belt after like 3 matchs imagine if he got worked in the next defense how weak would he look. He will not doubt be a major player in the division but IN TIME he will be a player but not now. I like the idea of a cro cop fight but id like to see that as his second fight assuming he wins the firt one.

Im interested in seeing this as well. I think that he will make a great addition to UFC. I also agree he wont be jumping into the title scene right away, but he wont be far from it.

man, i was watching the PPV yesterday, i never miss a UFC PPV man, i love MMA, pride, cage rage, all awsome, but man was that a shock! i knew they were talking but i didnt think they had already closed the deal... great news

it will be interesting to see lesnar there, there have been other times where huge guys with some experience got far in MMA.. lesnar could be another case of that, though ive only seen 1 fight of his against a japanese dude or something like that, and although he won, didnt really impress me at all

but hes been training much more since then, and lesnar must have a lot of power man... it will be interesting to see him fight, though no way is he ready to face any1 like cro cop, even though cro cop is not himself nowadays in the octagon im sure he will be back on top soon man.. come on.. its cro cop

but anyway, i dont think lesnar could even hang with the light heavyweights at this point, but with some intense training, maybe next year torwards july he will be getting really good, hes really quick for his size, he has it all to be a champ, all he needs to do is train a lot on his MMA, cuz size and wrestling alone wont get u anywhere in the MMA...

oh and speaking about yesterdays ppv.. man was that anderson silva vs rich franklin fight awsome! lol, anderson silva is beating every1 with ease man.. i wanna see whose gonna be able to take that belt from him..

I personally hope that Dana is smart and doesn't throw Lesnar to the wolves. The guy had his first fight against a judo player with a nonexistent standup or ground arsenal as he was a last-minute fill-in for Hong Choi. From the training footage of Brock that I've watched from his workouts in Minnesota, he seems to be progressing well, but if they stick him in the cage with someone who has exceptional standup, he could very well eat shit off a good strike thirty seconds into the first. They need to match him up against another wrestler or someone like Heath Herring so that he can get his sea legs in the cage. I'm interested to see what Brock can do, because he has the wrestling pedigree to dominate, but the fact is that he's having to do YEARS of catchup learning with the other arts and quite frankly, a one-trick pony has a hell of a time even getting a whiff of championship gold these days. I'm optimistic, though, and hope he does well. Mostly because it'll piss off some of the anti-pro wrestling MMA crowd that sees Lesnar as a joke.

no doubt its gonna be very hard for lesnar to actually make it big, he has a lot of catching up to do, but even though he wont be that great on the ground, or on striking, his size mixed with his speed and power can help him a lot, for example, tim sylvia isnt all that great on stand up or on the ground, hes just really big and powerfull, and has an average MMA game, and he still got the belt, and lesnar will probably have some killer takedowns, something tim sylvia doesnt even have...

soo its possible for lesnar to still be UFC champ, but hell yeah its gonna be tough, i dont even know who they should throw him into the ring first... heath herring IMO would destroy him, ok maybe it wouldnt be a squash but heath has exellent striking, i dont think brock would be able to go stand up with him, and in his first fight, he should fight some1 with little stand up and OK ground, in other words, some1 who sucks just for a warm up, cuz lesnar sure as hell cant depend on his ground game at the moment, and putting him up against a really good striker like heath herring, even though it would be a very entertaining match, i dont think would be the best idea lol
