Layla- WWE Diva Search Winner 2006

Well I just had my usual browse on WWE.com today and I guess Layla is the new Diva Search winner for 2006. Somewhat low key this year but to be honest I really didn't care who won this year, but I am surprised it's Layla.

Thoughts
 
I no, i actually wanted jen to win becuase she was hella hott, but like same witht the erica chick, its gonna be the same tho shell do a promo with other divas at sslam and then go to raw for a few months then to sd
 
We'll probably see Jen back in some form aswell as Milena who I actually didn't mind if she won as she had some kind of contact sport background with the martial arts and what not. I personally didn't want Layla to win, she kind of resembles Mel B from the Spice Girls haha.
 
Im tired of the Diva's search. A lot of them were hot but as soon as they let them talk it went all downhill. Plus I don't think any of them can actually wrestle worth a damn. I'd rather see them bring in good looking girls who can actually wrestle.
 
yeah didnt want her to win but seen it from the start obvious she would win i would have prefered J.T or Erica
 
I didn't much care about the Diva search this year...... well I tuned in for the special bits... but damn the Miz should die. But Im glad Layla won, but can she wrestle and at least keep in the business longer than Christy?
 
I don't like the Diva Search, I don't like how they can all of a sudden become a Diva by doing nothing what so ever... BUT out of all of them I wanted Erica OR Layla to win. So Good Luck to her.
 
the diva search is fake. Imo JT was supposed to win. She even got eliminated before Jen ! that was impossible. And the fans...they booed Layla at the begining of the diva search contest...and now when it was in NY they all of a sudden love her cause she let them touch a part of her leg. WTF!? Layla shouldnt have won imo. But theres nothing to do now...= (...i dont really care though...i just wanted JT to win...cause she was my favorite from the begining.

and this Diva Search thing...needs to be dropped. Id rather see a Womens Tough Enough at least. where they can look good and wrestle. yes, actually wrestle, not stand there dancing and putting on smiles to win.
 
Im just glad that its over.
I thought JT was the only one worth looking and and this Layla is clearly a nut bar. I hope she gets dumped on Smackdown so I dont have to watch her.
 
yeah ! ! that would be better...Layla goes to Smackdown! and we wont see her...
but if shes on RAW and will eventually go for a womens title....i think ill go crazy.
 
I'm glad Layla won for one reason, she's from London, a Brit in wwe. No doubt she'll have a few appearances on Raw then disappear to learn some moves. She'll then come back on SD and be wasted. Really what the point of the diva search is now, is beyond me. No +ve crowd reaction at all this time, and Miz, get him wrestling soon, cos he sucked at presenting the search. If they want new women on wwe programs then get wrestlers, not pretty faces. If both then cool, but we don't need a roster of Candice's!
 
Of all of the chicks that could have won it was the one i didnt like, it pissed me off, but just a little, cuz there was absolutely noone in any arena they where ever at that cared about it. I wanted Rebecca Dipietro to win, just cuz i went to her site and saw some VERY nice pics of her. Besides that just look back at all the the other diva search winners. Nothing has become of them, Christy Hemme? in TNA, Ashley, while she is the best one there ever will be, she hasnt gotten much time on TV. and layla was a spazzy little chick.
 
I think she should be taking what Candice is doing right now, start training to become a decent women's wrestler, but if she's just going to be there, like Torrie Wilson, i dont see much of a future, except being molested by Vince McMahon.
 
Jen was hotter so i wanted her to win! Vince needs to look at more hot blondes with both trish and stacy going?! Michelle McCool has gotta be waiting for that push phone call!
 
i wanted layla do win the erason she won casue she waqs more sexual then the other men liek that alot of men watch wwe lol
 
am i the only one who noticed she had armpit hair on SD! with the talent contest? when she lifted her arms up she had hair there.... i woulda rather jt... she'll be in wwe tho i guarntee it
 
Well hopefully they will send her to DSW or OVW right away and hopefully they just release her much like Daniel Puder if she can't adapt quickly.
