I like it. The idea of building to Jerry Lawler possibly working at Wrestlemania is a great thing. Plus with all they've done with The Miz vs. Jerry Lawler in the past few weeks it only makes sense that it builds to a PPV match. Plus, there's very few guys on the planet who are as good as Jerry Lawler when it comes to "working."

I'm very pissed by this. This is gonna hurt Miz's title reign. How the hell is king even considered for a title match. He can't wrestle for shit anymore. If he wins(which i know that isn't gonna happen. No way in hell king goes to wrestlemania the wwe champ.) I'll stop watching wrestling. I'm beyond pissed with this.

I was hoping for Morrison. I didn't see the Rumble, but when they showed the replay of him catching the guardrail I was actually kinda stunned by it.

As for Lawler winning, I'm not too pleased, it's obvious the Miz will win against Lawler. So I already know suspect that over the next to Raw episodes something will happen, Lawler will be taken out and someone else will take his place.

I have to admit, as much as I think Jerry's too old to go to a Pay-Per-View, it makes sense from a booking standpoint, since he and Miz have been going at it for months and if Orton got it again* I would have flipped a shit. I'd rather it have gone to Morrison, but I'll take this.

Not a shock. my guess is that the Elimination Chamber match will be a number one contender match now and Cena will win that while Miz beats King, but i thought he would win that Raw Rumble when Cole kept bashing King, by the way, Cole is annoying and NOT in a good way, i am sick of him screaming whenever his way doesnt happen, he's very loud and makes me want to hit my mute button or turn the channel.

the king deserves a title , he's a legend and he's been around for a VERY long time .. im not sure about him headlining a ppv but i want him to have the title at least once to fulfill his career with WWE as a wrestler , even if his title reign is a short one .

Well, the match between Miz and Lawler on Raw was a golden match. It just goes to show, and I hate to be a Cole about this, that Miz is a legit champion. How many times has a heel garnered so much hate that the announcer gets pissed at him? The great thing with Miz is no one belives him to be a champion and that's why Lawler can be a believable contender. Miz is awful. That's his gimmick. A self proclaimed star. And I gotta say, he played it so well that Lawler of all people is considered a threat. So yeah, amazing. Oh and the people pissed about this, please, cry me a river xD. Seriously, you want the same Orton fest? It'd be predictable as hell: Orton vs Miz, Punk intereferes.

My thoughts is that its so predictable.

Hmm lets see, jerry is about to win at the chamber, then cole ruins his chance, thus setting up a match at mania between them.

Jerry is OBV not going to mania as the champ and all this does is ruin the chamber ppv with a bunch of matches that we already know the outcomes of.

Cena will now 100 percent win the chamber to face the miz at mania.

Sheamus will most likely get screwed over by HHH at the chamber.

I just wish things werent so predictable.

Headlining.... the Elimination Chamber match(es) are the headline ones. The WWE title match is nothing more than a midcard for this PPV, a throw away to allow Miz to pin Lawler once and for all. For Lawler to continue his feud with Cole and settle that at Mania

I don't like it, but it makes sense.

It finishes off The Miz vs. Jerry Lawler, hopefully with a clean finish on The Miz's part. It allows 6 of Raw's biggest stars to go at it. R-Truth vs. John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. John Morrison vs. CM Punk, which to me is a hell of an Elimination Chamber. Would love if R-Truth is removed from the Chamber for Triple H, and he and Sheamus are participants 1 and 2.

Undeserving I think. Jerry Lawler is old and very limited in the ring. Whatever happened to WWE's youth movement? They give Jerry Lawler a world title shot, but not Christian? Or MVP when he was till with WWE? Jerry Lawler is old, and he can't do anything amazing. JoMo deserved this IMO, just to make JoMo look good before WM matches actually take place. Sure, Jerry Lawler never won a WWE world title before, but now? Now? I don't think so. And for everybody who thinks King will actually be in WM 27, you're kidding me right?

and to all the complaints about how come you dont push young talent well because young talent do not know how to
draw ticket sales, period Nash and Bookert have had wwe titles Jerry has not, give the guy a chance

at lease it is better than wwe saving the miz from losing by having people win for him, wwe knows he is not drawing
nor selling tickets it only makes sense for Jerry to carry the title till the next PPV

I'm sorry, the "story" that Monday Night RAW has tonight was good in terms of a television show from start to finish, but the reality of Jerry Lawler winning a number one contenders match and "headlining" a PPV is ridiculous. I had a very bad feeling Lawler was going to win right when they announced his name as a competitor in the main event, but I kept telling myself WWE couldn't be that silly..

This just proves WWE totally does not have faith in the Miz as a drawing champion. Instead of actually headlining the PPV against someone credible, the WWE Title match isn't even going to be RAW's top match on the PPV. It's going to be relegated to a mid-card match, which is really baffling.

The World Heavyweight championships being defended in an Elimination Chamber match, and is clearly Smackdown's main event for the PPV, but RAW's championship isn't being defended in an Elimination chamber match nor will it likely even be the main event for their brand? Really telling of things and it really makes the Miz and his reign look WEAK.

I think it's great if Lawler is built up and has a match, for the first time in his career, at WrestleMania. That's a good story for WrestleMania. it should somehow involve Michael Cole too. But this is NOT the way to go for that. Not at all. I figure something's going to happen so this Lawler vs. Miz match actually doesn't happen at the PPV and something else does. But, that's just wishful thinking right now.

I have decided that this will all come down to a King thing. Starting the return of HHH. Jerry 'The King' Lawler will get 'injured' and say that he has someone to replace him, another King will take his place. Sheamus will come out thinking it is him. Then BAM, out comes HHH, the King of Kings.
