Last Raw before the show

Fuel The Fire

Getting Noticed By Management
Ok next raw is the last one before Wrestlemania and we know they have to go all out on this show and they cant hold nothing back. I feel like some people are not sold on getting wrestlemania yet and for those people that are not sold on it yet they have to go all out.

So what do you think they need to do?

What I hope they do well is what I wish they would do every week but its been an off and on show every week. I am excited for this show and I just hope that im not in for a let down. They have a lot of potential to make this a good show. They need to have The Rock , The Miz and John Cena in the ring at the same time but what would you have them do? Does the Rock attack anyone or do they save that for wrestlemania?

Also Undertaker and HHH need to get in some kind of confrontation. SOMETHING more need to happen between them. I feel like they are coasting there way wm with everyone's hype that everyone else is talking about and they aren't doing much for each other i feel like.

I know Snookie is not a real wwe wrestler but if she is going to be at wm I think that she should also be at the last raw before raw and do something. I personally think she should get jumped backstage and then get some revenge Sunday. That way she has more of a meaning of being there as well.

But ya the wwe can really knock this raw out of the park, how do you think they are going to do. How would you book the last show?

Undertaker is still injured so they wanted to keep him from doing stuff. I would base The Rock stuff on how much longer is he going to stay, etc. I would have some sort of altercation with Rock but more with Cena and Miz coming in to suprise attack Rock and finish off Cena, so he looks dominate heading into Mania. They should have Cole pull some more shenanigans (which are awesome btw). I wish Austin would be their too, he could hype up some stuff. It needs to have a very exciting, fast pace. My last thing, I would have this be a very promo heavy. Just promoting the shit out of Mania.

Oh and throw in a little Smackdown here and there.

PS - Need to have Punk dominate a little more so he can have more momentum.

On the last Raw before Mania 27 they should book a 6 man tag main event Team1- ORTON, HHH & TAKER VS Team 2- MIZ, PUNK, & CENA, Special guest REF The Rock. The final result a no contest HHH & Taker fight to the back, Orton chases Punk out the building, The Rock rock-bottom's Cena & Miz.

On the last SD before Mania 27 they can book a 6 man tag main event Team1- Edge, Christian & Mysterio VS Team 2 - Alberto Del Rio, Brodus Clay, & Cody Rhodes. Team 2 wins do to Christian hitting Edge with the belt by mistake. This would be great drama if the world title match at mania becomes a 3 way.

One of the key things Raw needs to be next week is more face heavy. If you don't know what I mean, take a look at yesterday's show. Virtually all the heels got incredible momentum. Sheamus wins against Evan Bourne, gets challenged by Daniel Bryan for the US Championship at WM and with no hesitation, kicks his ass. Michael Cole buries the Divas division AGAIN and along with Jack Swagger put the Ankle Lock on Jerry Lawler. The Corre despite getting attacked by Kane and Big Show still get a win from former Tag Champs Kozlov and Santino. Laycool and Co. defeat Trish Status and John Morrison with Vickie of all people covering Morrison for the pin. And CM Punk attacks Randy Orton in front of his wife, which by the way was pretty good even more funny when Punk mocks his wife's acting skills...I mean her distress.

With the exception of John Cena putting the STF on Alex Riley and Triple H hyping up his match with the Undertaker, none of the faces got any momentum going in their favor. The go-home show really needs to exhibit the faces more and give them some level of momentum coming into WrestleMania. Especially for Lawler and Bryan's case. Lawler hasn't got a lick of momentum heading into WM and this has to be his last chance to do something. I've got a big feeling Lawler will win at WM but it's getting incredibly tiresome watching Cole get the upper hand. Cole has been getting so much done in his favor I kinda forgot for a second that Austin is gonna be the special guest referee. Next week I really hope something good goes for Lawler cause he'll need it.

The US Championship match already doesn't have enough momentum considering that it was just made yesterday. Still Sheamus got enough of a push just Brogue Kicking Bryan after the challenge was made. Bryan should show some sort of technical prowess next week as well. It doesn't have to be Sheamus he fights either. Put Ted Dibiase against him or something.

To answer the OP's question, The Rock doesn't have to do much. I just want to see him verbally smack down Cena and Miz in the middle of the ring is all. I kinda would want to save the Rockbottoms for WM just because it will make them all the more sweeter. Personally I would like Cena vs. Miz or Alex Riley on Raw next week with The Rock as referee.

Triple H vs. Undertaker. One brawl all over the arena would be awesome. Have the fight be so intense that refs and security have to break it up. That alone is worth my time for me and would make the payoff at WM even better cause that brawl though you get to see them fight doesn't give a hint as to who will get the upper hand at WM.

Yes, Snooki needs to make one more appearance before WM. I can't think of a good idea how it should happen, but it needs to. The match with Morrison and Stratus vs. Laycool and Co. would have been a great match to have her at ringside for.

I'm very proud and very lucky to say that I will be there live, as well as being at WrestleMania. See, I've been to A LOT of WWE events at the Allstate Arena, and out of all of those events I don't remember WWE dropping the ball once. They know that Chicago is FULL of die-hard wrestling fans that will call bullshit when they see it, so they dare not piss off fans in Chicago with a crappy show. Now, on to the question. What I see happening with The Rock is this...Cena is in the ring and calls The Rock out. Rock comes out and Cena and Rock exchange words for a few minutes. At this point, The Miz either interrupts, or he attacks them both. I'm going with the latter of the two. Cena and Rock make quick work of Miz and Riley, tossing them over the top rope on opposite sides of the ring in the process. Both men then start backing up slowly, only to run into each other. Both men quickly turn around and end the show with a vicious face-off, as the show ends.

If the Rock is truly "back" for good as he stated, then what you will see is, the Rock open Raw, Rock will bash Cena and Miz for a bit, then Cena will Come out, they'll bicker back and forth then the Miz's music will hit, and it will be a 3 way bitch fest. Then somehow either the Miz or Cena, or even the Raw GM will tell Rock to put his money were his mouth is and the match at mania will become a 3-way match for the title, Rock will win the belt, hold it for a month or two and then drop it to someone and disappear in to Hollywood for another 7 years......

And I'm going to be at this RAW and I can NOT wait!!!

I hear there might be no Smackdown next week. They are apparently replacing the show with Wrestlemania Axxess highlights?!!!

It will have to be a busy Raw!!! Big Show and Kane still dont have a match and the Tag Titles are not on the card yet. Maybe Show and Kane vs Slater & Gabriel will be made? But where does that leave Wade Barrett!?

As for Trips and Taker...I want a brawl. None of this talking smack. Lets see them fight.

I really dont want to see The Rock and Cena have a confrontation. I want to see this at Wrestlemania!!! I want to feel the anticipation and want to get my £15 worth. This is what is selling Wrestlemania.....please save it for then!!!

Failing that, how about Orton and Cena vs Punk and Miz with Rock as special guest Referee?

I have to believe that The Rock will NOT being going face to face with Cena - that staredown is way to big to use on free Tv. After all the hype it has received it should only happen at WM for WWE to get the huge payoff it has been looking for with The Rock (short of a return to the ring). With that said, I believe The Rock and Miz will showdown in the ring and this will result in The Miz getting a nice rub and momentum heading into Mania.

HHH and Taker needs to have talk - needs to have more than hand gestures. And I would personally love if SCSA surprised everyone to spoil Cole's next shenanigan (just for the sake of showing how many Attitude Legends will be on the card.

I think that the WWE have been doing a great job of building up to WrestleMania on Raw and Smackdown lately. We have all heard that Vince is really trying to push the show to over 1 million buys this year and I think that they have been going about accomplishing that goal really well. Not only has there been a great surprise on every show, we have also been treated to something s that are not normally included in a run of the mill Raw showing. These include the segments with Michael Cole and The Miz fooling everyone into thinking that he was The Rock. I think that whatever the WWE does next week, the same goals will be within their tunnel vision. Vince knows how to go about attaining goals and he knows that next week's show is the last chance to get people on board with the big show.

If you are looking for specifics though, I think that two things need to happen to get people more involved with WrestleMania. The first of those is a confrontation between The Rock and John Cena which is bound to happen. Like John Cena has said though, this is no time for nifty promos or raps, this is the time for these two guys to get right down to business and starting whooping each other's ass. I am completely sure that Vince knows that this is the money-spinning match up that everyone wants to see. The have building towards it, so why not give us a taster of the thing that we all want to see so bad? Why not give us something to make us buy WrestleMania and this is the way to do it. John Cena and The Rock would tear the roof off of the building and I am praying that we get to see some physical confrontation between the two before WrestleMania.

The other thing I need to see is Triple H getting one over on The Undertaker. I think they have been pushing Triple H hard but you still don't get the feeling that Triple H has the same chance that Shawn Michaels had. What needs to happen is that these guys need to have some hardcore style promo between them on Raw. They need to show us that Triple H holds the advantage because of the stipulation and that will make the match just that much better when it actually rolls around.

Give me those two things and I will be happy as Larry.

I think that WWE has done a helluva job building WrestleMania. There have been some big surprises pop up for WM this year, the biggest of course being The Rock. The Rock being announced as WM Guest Host and the promo segment that followed will quite probably be the most memorable 25 minutes you'll see on any professional wrestling television program this year. People have been wanting to see The Rock make a return to WWE for a long time and it's come at a helluva time. The Rock will be involved in WrestleMania. His presence has generated tons of interest from everyone from the mainstream media to current fans to fans that were around during the Attitude Era. Why? Simply put, we all wanna see what's ultimately gonna happen with him at 'Mania and even after 'Mania.

As for what needs to happen next week, The Rock & John Cena need to have a serious confrontation. Cena doesn't need to be running around poppin' rhymes, he needs to be right in Rock's face. We all know Cena is very capable of pulling off what needs to happen because he's done it in the past. Also, The Miz needs to make his presence felt as well. I think it's been genius the way that they've booked this entire situation. For a few weeks, it looks like Miz is being booked as the forgotten aspect of this feud and that's exactly what the WWE wanted people to see. Then, over the course of the past month, Miz steps out of the Cena/Rock shadow and establishes himself as someone that's just not going to play second fiddle. He successfully leaves Cena laying week after week, he mocks The Rock with every opportunity and he needs a strong showing with all the parties involved gathered at one place.

I think another thing that should happen is for Triple H & Undertaker to have some sort of physical confrontation, with Triple H ultimately coming out with the upper hand. I think this will be a great match and will surpass the relatively low expectations some have for it, but the WWE has yet to really make it look like either guy has an advantage at this point. The fans have played along with WWE ignoring the fact that these two have met at a previous WrestleMania but, to complete the illusion, I think Triple H needs to leave Taker laying. He needs to come out looking stronger than Taker.

But, generally speaking, I think that you're either excited and interested to see the show already or you're not. I don't think this Monday will overly change anyone's level of interest one way or the other, at least not in big numbers. Sure, it's important to pull off a great go home show and keep that momentum going but, let's face it, the WWE has been steadily building WrestleMania at this point for over 3 months now and has, expectedly, kicked things into high gear the past 5 or 6 weeks. But if you weren't gonna order the show as of two weeks ago, then you're probably not gonna order it after Monday.

I actually have a funny feeling that The Rock and Cena will put their differences aside going into WM, this Monday. Cena talked about forgetting all the jokes they've made about each other and just settle his issues with Rock once and for all. If it goes this way, Cena will win the championship with Miz being distracted by Rock and then the two double-team on Miz, post-match, for a huge beating. That will get one of the biggest pops from the crowd in years. The kids that stick to Cena no matter what will be cheering and the older that are huge Rock fans will also be yelling from excitement.

Punk and Orton will probably confront with Punk getting the upper hand again, which leads to 'mania where Orton is most likely coming out as the winner. Either in this smackdown or on this final raw, they will probably set up a 8 man tag team match between Corre vs Show/Kane/Kozlov/Santino after another fight between them in the ring. Austin might appear and embarrass Cole again for Lawler to laugh at it, I hope that anyways. Or it might just be another one of these annoying Cole "nights" to make him hated to the extreme which gives the fans an excellent feeling when he gets beat by Lawler at WM.

Team 2 wins do to Christian hitting Edge with the belt by mistake. This would be great drama if the world title match at mania becomes a 3 way.

Why is Cena teaming with two heels? Seriously?

And if Rock gives Miz and Cena a rock bottom each people will not buy Mania because they have seen what they wanted to see from the start! People need to want to watch Mania for Rock to kick some ass, and if he kicks ass before the event then they aren't going to buy it.

Hopefully Miz attacks and lays out Rock, and that leaves people wanting to see Rock get revenge at Mania.

Simple the Raw GM can make the match, didn't he made them Tag partners a few weeks ago ? And if the Rock do attack both Miz and Cena on Raw next week people will still buy Mania because it shows that the Rock doesn't care who wins between both of them, but what happens if the Rock helps Miz win at Mania ( anything is possible in the WWE. ) how would you feel if you missed it ? The Rock needs to show both Cena & Miz next week that they both better be up and watching their backs at Mania.

this is my first thread so....yeah

the cena-miz-rock situation has been going on for a while now and on the final raw before wrestlemania we get to see them in the ring at the same time. the first time the rock will be at raw since his return (actually there, not via satellite)

so what are your expectations for this scenario when it happens? what will happen? who will say what?

personally, i think that it will start with the rock talking and miz interrupts him. the two exchange words and cena's music hits. as cena approaches the ring, miz rolls out of the ring. then, when cena and rock are in the ring at the same time, just before the largest fan reaction ever happens, alex riley runs in. riley distracts cena and runs back out of the ring. cena goes to chase him but decides not to. then whilst they're distracted, the miz slides back into the ring and hits the rock with a skull crushing finale and gets the hell out of there.
the show either ends with cena chasing miz and riley with a close up of the rock. or cena tries to help rock up but gets hit with a rock bottom.

so what are your thoughts on what's going to happen?

I think they will be saving any Rock beatdowns/rock bottoms etc for Wrestlemania as that stuff would just be too good to give away on free TV. I don't see why you would have Cena team with two heels either, I know he teamed with Miz before but that was ultimately to add heat to their feud by have the Miz betray Cena. The 6/8/10 man tag matches before PPV's are always the top faces against all the top heels.

I like your idea but I can't see any of this golden material being wasted on a normal, free to air, Raw. They are really building up the hype of the Rock being at WM27 and I think the WWE want to whatever happens to remain a complete surprise. If the Rock does a beat down/rock bottoms/ gets beaten down on Raw then whatever happens at WM27 will not be as much of a surprise/shock and will be just that little bit less entertaining. Personally, I don't even think we will see all 3 men in the ring at the same time. Maybe a backstage confrontation. If they are in the ring then I hope it's only for a staredown and some trash talking.

I do see this happening during Raw. I don't think it will happen at WM. Are they gonna have Cena and Miz come out twice or have The Rock come out for no reason at the start of the match?

Anyway I think maybe another confrontation that may happen at WM that no one has brought up yet is Rock and Austin. When was the last time these 2 men have been in the ring together?

The scenario the OP has said is something I can see happening, minus the Rock hitting the RB on Cena. I can see Miz taking out Rock, leading to Rock costing Miz the title at Mania. I hope I'm wrong there, because I want Miz to keep the title, but thats just what I see WWE doing, it's an easy route to go down.

However, with all of this breaking news that the peoples era is coming and The Rock is open to working another match... that match will be against Cena if it happens, and so I can now see WWE setting that match up at Mania, so will Rock cost Cena the match? Will Rock set in motion a heel turn?

A Rock heel turn you hear my say? No way right? Well, this is WWE, and for Cena/Rock to work you need a heel, and obviously Cena is the face of the company, so WWE may take the easy option and make Rock the heel(although it wouldn't work for many fans, i.e. Cena haters, and WWE knows this).

So will we finally get a Cena heel turn? I hope so. Anyway, kind of went off on a tangent there, but to finish, this weeks RAW is going to be electrifying.

As for Austin - Rock in a confronation, many people have mentioned it actually, but what would it serve? I don't see it happening in the ring, maybe the run into each other backstage. I personally would love it if Rock is getting beat down and Austin makes the save, or vice versa, but that wouldn't serve much of a storyline purpose so I don't see it happening.

I would like to see a Rock-Austin backstage confrontation. Even if it is just a bit of trash talking and getting the catphrases in there for nostalgia reasons. With them both at the same event I think it would be a waste not to use them.

If the reports are true and Cena-Rock will happen then Cena is the logical choice for the heel role in the match. There are a lot of Cena haters who attend WWE events and The Rock returning for a match will not be booed! Isnt Wm28 in Miami aswell? Rocks home?

You people think way too far ahead, I mean Rock will most likely be gone by that time. Im sure hell stay for a bit and im sure hell stay after WrestleMania but to think that the plann Vince has is to make him fight at WM28 or something is far fetched. Even some people think it will be rock Vs Undertaker... I mean, it would really surprise me. Anyhow, guess well see in the upcoming year lol. And at Raw next week, there will definitly be a staredown with Rock,Cena and Miz in the ring before Wrestlemania. At that moment we will know if Rock will fight at Wrestlemania!

They wont save anything. What better way to hype for Wrestlemania than having the 3 in the rings at the same time and then evertyodsy fights and Raw ends with GM manager saying there will be a triple threat at Wrestlemania!

there will probably be a miz-rock trash talk session. you said about the material being wasted on raw that's why i said that miz and riley would cause trouble. cena and rock face to face on raw would take away from wrestlemania. especially if they're going to do the looking at the crowd thing that cena has done with orton about 10 times in the last two months.
if cena and rocky are in the ring at the same time neither of them will be able to say anything over the fan reaction. that's why riley comes out quickly. this also makes miz look even better. what greater way to go into wrestlemania than taking out the rock?
but i highly doubt rock will hit the rock bottom on cena. it was just a random possibility

Depending on the crowd reactions... I think Cena should play the heel. Kind of like during the Rock-Hogan match. The Rock became a heel and Hogan changed to a face all during the match. I'm sure none of it was planned.. and they just went with the flow.

I see a Rock, Cena confrontation getting interrupted by Miz and Riley only to have the Rock and Cena clean house, then they do the face to face stare down ala HHH, Undertaker, then they look up at the wrestlemania sign then back to staring into each others eyes and then................they kiss and you all jizz yourselves.

Is it me or everyone in here blind? You guys must be new to wrestling (WWE) storylines.

Ok Ill lay it all down for you all to take in one big chunk.
Script(storyline) says Rock will be made special referree for miz and cena match.
Rock and Cena are only pretending to hate each others guts.
Then when the match starts, it will show cena vs miz w/rock as referee.
At end of the match you will see miz gettin rockbottomed and cena will win the title.
The only reason the miz will get rockbottomed is because he will do something to rock this coming monday. Its all a plan guys!

A fine example of what is to happen is kind of like the whole Shawn Michaels Vs Stone Cold w Mike Tyson as Ref.

What happened at the end? Remember.

God! I cant believe you all are so blind.
