Lacey Von Erich's Custody Battle

According to information that Lacey Von Erich has posted on Facebook, she's involved in a custody dispute over her four year old son Daniel. According to Von Erich, her hectic wrestling schedule is something that could be potentially damaging to her case. If I'm not mistaken, the WWE schedule is one reason why the WWE let her go.

According to an update she posted, TNA officials are allowing her to work fewer dates while this situation gets sorted out. However, there's always a possibility that she may have to leave wrestling altogether if she wants to keep custody of her son. Her ex boyfriend, also her son's father, is allegedly claiming that she's an unfit mother. Supposedly, he's shown footage of her doing that strip tease she did a while back on TNA iMPACT! to the judge presiding over the case to further his own case.

Personally, I think Lacey Von Erich is a crappy wrestler. She's extremely hot and that's eally the only thing she's got going for her. I honestly don't know if she's an unfit parent or not. When it comes to child custody cases, there's pretty much nothing that's off limits for whomever is opposing you to use as ammunition. Her ex is no doubt saying that her conduct on iMPACT! is a reflection upon how she behaves in her personal life. Even if it isn't, video footage of her performing a strip tease on live television to potentially millions of viewers is something judges can't ignore. Actual tangible evidence of her ex's allegations can be pretty powerful. It's also entirely possible that this is an attempt on the part of her ex to get out of paying child support.

Custody battles are always sticky situations with emotions running high. It's hard to render any kind of opinion here because I obviously don't know any of the parties involved on a personal level. What I can say is that I'm not sure how fair it is for the father to be using her profession against her. She is in the entertainment business therefore what is being broadcasted on TV has no reflection on her personal life. What she does is no different than an actress in a movie or a model in a magazine. She is simply playing a role.

On the other hand, a hectic work schedule that keeps her away from her child could be a completely different animal. Again, we don't know specifics, but if she currently has custody yet is not able to provide care for her child because she is frequently on the road, than the father may have a legitimate arguement.

Well she's in TNA to provide for herself and her child (I would assume) so she's being a good parent in that she's trying to give the best for her kid.

However the ex-boyfriend probably feels she's not around enough to properly care for the kid so he wants to take the child to take care of him himself. He could however just be doing this for publicity, showing footage of her doing a striptease from Impact would implicate this, as 1. she didn't get naked and 2. that is where she works and it would have been hard for her to not do it.

...custody disputes suck...my folks had a custody dispute over me n my sis when we where younger and it seemed to just drag on. Hell even after my dad had custody my mom attempted to rob me...hope everything goes well, from what I understand she has been training somewhere in cali as of late which explains why they decided to have he half of ko tag champs

Hope it works out for her. She is one of the reasons I watch TNA, the girl is absolutely dynamite! Ring work sucks. But looks are beyond this world!

It's been said several times that this is a sticky situation. I think that's putting it mildly. I feel horrible for her that she's having to go through with it. With regards to her career in TNA, I think the girl is starting to pick up speed. It's not fair that this guy is using her job against her. She's doing this to provide for herself and the kid as was mentioned. I hope she comes out on top with this because this is a situation that while nobody should have to go through with it, it still happens. I'm hoping for the best for Lacey because I do enjoy seeing her on the TNA roster.

If Lacey leaves because of this its no big loss really, outside of looks I think most people agree that Lacey is a waste of camera time (remember those cages that the TNA-girls danced in when TNA first started up, thats where Lacey Von Erich belongs, not in the ring).

With that said I do hope this whole custody battle works out for her. Its really hard to judge what kind of parent she is but calling her an unfit parent because of her work schedule is pretty pathetic. My parents worked nights when I was little, I saw them maybe 3 times a week, but I would never call them unfit parents, they may not have been there as much as I would have liked, but that shouldn't suggest I wasn't taken care of (sure, it may not have always been my parents, but they always made sure I was looked after and taken care of). Lacey works the job she works in order to give her kids a better life, and considering this is one of the reasons Lacey left the WWE, I would guess that her children are pretty important to her.

At the end of the day we don't know what kind of parent Lacey really is, I just hope that this has a lot more to do with Lacey's work schedule because if this is the main reason, I feel really bad for Lacey and I wish her all the luck in winning this battle.

Well, I hope she does well on this case, because non show had his/her dream taken away from them, besides she is very young and she is providing for her kid.

In wrestling it shows she is improving and having more matches every time, I mean she is no Taylor Wilde but she is no Ashley Massaro anymore.

She is very young and it will be a shame that she has to change professions because of this, and even worse if she loses her son's custody.

Hope everythign works out well for her.

Want to know how much I think of Lacey Von Erich. If she was able to train properly and had the time to learn the moves, she'd be the single most popular woman wrestler in the business. This girl is a damn 10. There aren't many 10's out there, but she's certainly one of them. She has the heritage and the talent to potentially be very special in the ring.

That being said, she's at a place where her kid is much more important. If custody of her child and wrestling are a choice to her, then she has to work on building a relationship with her son. And if I were a judge, I wouldn't look down on her 'strip tease'. The schedule she works would be a question, but to me, she's a very fit mother and hopefully, she keeps custody of her son.

Even if it costs her a possibly stellar career as a woman's wrestler. I hope things work out where she can find a way to work a schedule and keep her child.

Man, I hope she can keep working in TNA, and keep her son at the same time. She, is extremely sexy, but she cant wrestle. If she can keep her child, and her job, and learn to wrestle, she could be in the midst of being the best female wrestler today

So wait...Lacey Von Erich has a kid? Somebody say MILF. Honestly the idea that her ex is bringing up the strip tease video is stupid. The ability to provide a stable living environment is what almost all custody cases are judged by, so long as she proves that her son is fed well, cared for and doesn't suffer from any set backs explicitly related to her and her work she should be fine. Just because she works a job that requires she work odd hours doesn't make her a bad parent. If her son is emotionally and financially secure under her care then the ex needs to let it go.
