But the best part is, that after he was punched he drove to his hotel but Will.I.Am followed him there and Perez calls the police because he has been assaulted, but the police tells him "We come as soon as possible, we have real emergencies going on" which shows how much the police likes him.
Then he goes on Twitter.com to post how he has been punched and that someone should call the police.

It´s ridicolous, it very easy to get "fame", one guy who went to every casting of the german Idol became a ... let´s call a Z-list celebrity for horribly performing Michael Jackson songs, and the best part is, just this week the broke into Neverland to place a flower somewhere "more personal than the gate." But the security gets him and they call the police, but "luckily" the dude has a TV crew with him and they tell the security that he´s "famous" in Germany and you know what ? The security let him go without any charges.

This was my issue with billy mays being considered a 3rd "celebrity" to die. Before you panic, no I'm not saying Mays is on the same level as Hilton. Mays actually did something and made a legit career out of it. He was a salesman when you boiled it all down, which is a solid skill to have. Anymore, anyone with a reality TV is a "celebrity". It's absurd. CIgar Lounge thread coming later on this I think.
Well, I find that the police saying "We have real emergencies to handle" is rather frightening. Police are supposed to answer calls placed to them, no matter who they're made by. If Perez Hilton called about being assaulted, a police car should have answered him. It'd be no different than if I called the police after being assaulted. I'd want the police to actually answer my complaint.
Though, really. Perez Hilton is no celebrity. He gossips for a living. A very lucrative living, sure. But he's no celebrity.
