OK, you could argue he's the first with the "TNA Era" belts. The other, of course, is AJ Styles, who's accomplished this three times. Anyway, for the sake of conversation, I also want to talk about who Kurt Angle's partner will be. Which belts you think he will lose and which he will keep? Discuss.

Honestly, I think he is going to drop the belt to someone in the X-Division really quick. I think TNA realizes that the fan base is becoming very upset with the lack of focus on the X-Division, which I really don't mind. Look at it this way, Angle is going to get a ton of heel heat for having all of the gold. The fans of TNA hate it.

One of the X-Division guys is going to knock angle off, and they are going to get a huge push because of it. This is where I get irritated with fan bases of both companies, because storylines aren't allowed to be played out. Angle holding onto the belt that TNA fans hold the dearest is awesome. Someone like Jay Lethal is going to pull a big upset over Angle for the gold, and it's going to do great things for his career.

I'm not sure who the tag partner will be. I'm kinda interested with that one to tell you the truth. i really think the Steiner Brothers maybe the team to take the gold off of Angle. The Steiners have shown, a little bit of their old selves lately, and I think it would be great to give them once last hoorah as champions. Or, I could see LAX taking down Angle and getting over as Monster Faces.

The TNA Title, that is a different story altogether. Angle is going to hold onto this bad boy for a long time in my opinion, and justifiably so. He is the best wrestler in the world today bar none. He is the best world champion in the world today bar none. Kurt Angle is simply the best the business has to offer at this point, and I would love to see him with a lengthy world title reign. If the reports of Lesnar are true, hopefully, but I doubt, TNA will keep them away from each other and build Brock as the savior of TNA ors omething like that.

On a side note, I am really really looking forward to Abyss vs. Angle. I have been uber impressed with Abyss of the last year in the ring. I really think him and Angle with such a clash of styles is going to be a show stealer, and you heard it here first, I think it could be a MOTY candidate if booked correctly.

Unfortunately he'll probably lose the X-Division and Tag titles immediately. Jay Lethal looks like he's getting a push to beat Angle, as embarrassing as it would be to have such a blatant ripoff of Macho Man holding a belt. Angle's tag team partner will obviously be Kevin Nash. As idiotic as it will be to have a guy win the tag title before he ever steps into a wrestling ring (at any level, aside from the training he's been doing in his back yard for the last few weeks), it looks like they're going that route with Pacman.

Ugh. Kurt Angle's going to lose to an embarassing macho man ripoff, and then lose to the lowest of low WWE rejects (at least guys like Christian spent a good amount of time there, K-Kwik couldn't last more than a few weeks) teaming with a guy who's literally never been in a wrestling ring competitively and has a contract that prohibits physical contact...and, of course, if you're wondering why these two are teaming up, nobody can explain it to you, becuase it makes no fucking sense whatsoever. One day you have the WWE reject talking smack and trying to beat the hell out of the guy whose contract prohibits physical contact, and presumably attacking him from behind back stage, and the next the WWE reject is begging the guy whose contract prohibits physical contact to be his tag team partner. No, it doesn't make any sense to me either.

Does anybody still have to wonder why the TNA isn't even close to competing with the WWE? Not only that, they're taking huge steps BACKAWARDS every time they're on TV. They're trying to be too much like the WWE and absolutely failing miserably, I'm losing interest in them instead of gaining it. That Karen Angle turn was the most obvious swerve since...well, ever! Can anybody honestly say they did NOT see that coming?

They have X-Division matches that are nap/piss breaks for 20 minutes and then 30 seconds of incredible moves, and a guy who's clearly the product of somebody writing staff saying "What would happen if Kane and Mankind mated?" who's the #1 contender.

Their top face tag team (Steiner brothers) are literally the two worst wrestling I have ever seen step into a wrestling ring. They make The Great Khali look like Bret Hart in his prime. Rick Steiner can't move, and Scott's not much better.

I can't believe I used to like TNA more than the WWE, back when they were on weekly PPVs and the early days of their TV show. They're so far back from where they were then it's just sad.

Rant over.

I know some people are excited about this and well some others are hating TNA for its Total Nonstop Angle, but I for one love this storyline and dont think its really hurting TNA much if none at all. Sure as Shocl some of the diehards for the X-Division are upset how its been pushed aside and its championship been a joke lately and wellit hasnt hell the X- title been used as 2nd major title an a guy like Kurt holding just adds to that belt. Fo Kurt to the 2nd ever triple crown winner in TNA shows how much faith TNA has in him as no one who has come been able to do that not even Cage. Kurt is one of the all time greats and lets face it who ever beats him for the gold will get instant success.

Lets look at the X-title we know Kurt will drop that belt as his World Heavyweight material and from the looks of it Black Machismo aka Jay Lethal is going to get the push of a lifetime for beating kurt as this is something that will take lethal to the next level and if he can carry it he will do well. As beating kurt will give him momentum and a bigger push then when he became Black Machismo.

The Tag belts are a different story as i ay its either Karen or Nash and I can see Nash more. So if they lose Dr. Nash be the one to take the fall especially if its Team Pacman and i hope that it isnt but could be. That wont mean much as Kurt never been a real tag team wrestler.

The Worlds title Kurt will hold on for a while i see and if Jarrett is smart he wont go beat Angle for the belt as wellhe has his time and now its Kurts time. i think Kurt wlll be the man for while and if he does lose it i can only see right now it be either Cage or Joe. Long shot is Styles but doubt it. Hell knowing TNA it be a 3 wya match with Cage, Joe and Angle and Angle wont be pinned lol. But anyway you look at it Kurt is the man and that World title will be his for awhile...well least i hope so.

To kinda piggyback on what Hdog684 said, I have never thought that it is a good idea to put ALL the titles on one person or have them all in one match, even someone as good as Kurt Angle CAN be(i've always thought he was a lot better as a face) but i never really thought of him as being THE top guy in a promotion.

Which is one reason why TNA in my opinion is bordering on being brutally unwatchable. The wrestling isnt all that good, there's only a few people that i even mind watching in the ring(Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, and Christian). Sting is old, Abyss(mal) is a blatant rip off of mankind(that first blood match with him and Christian was horrible but it wasn't Christian's fault Abyss tries to be like Mick Foley in the ring and the only person that can pull that off is him, how ANYONE could think he and Angle can pull of a match of the year is on some kind of drugs), Team 3D needs to hit the gym and a healthy dose of Slim Fast, The Steiners are old, I could go on. Even that X division match Daniels/Lethal wasn't very good it didn't flow at all.

What TNA needs to do is GO ON THE ROAD...hit some REAL ARENAS instead of the stupid impact zone every week. I mean geez they could at least get a big arena for a pay per view but NO same arena as they do every show in. I know that it saves them money, but the impact zone makes it look like they're performing in front of 100 people in some shithole somewhere, while the WWE is busy SELLING OUT Madison Square Garden. And also get rid of the 6 sided ring, imo wrestling always has flowed better and been more entertaining in the squared circle instead of that abomination of a ring that they have at TNA. The matches dont flow, they dont have but a couple ORIGINAL gimmicks(i mean COME ON a black randy savage? whos the wizard that thought up that one....whoever it was should be dragged out into the street and shot), they are starting to make WCW(in the russo days) look GOOD.

And dont even get me started on the whole wwe rejects thing....they have enough of them already and they havent done anything for them

I'm going to stick with what I've said in either thinking he'll lose the X-Division & Tag Team Championships.. or he'll retain all three at the up-coming p.p.v.

T.N.A. is not in a great place with all their Championships on one guy, who has a recent history of health concerns. Plus, it completely takes away from giving ANY other T.N.A. superstar the chance to shine with a Championship. So this is my theory on how the Championships will end up going.

X-Division Championship: Dispite wanting Christopher Daniels to win it again, he's already a 'household' name. (to T.N.A. fans) Jay Lethal fought & fought to win the title from Saban, only to lose it at that following Impact! So I can see them allowing Lethal to recapture the Championship & hold it for a bit. Other stars in the division I'd expect to see shine are Alex Shelley & Kazarian. As far as when Angle will drop this.. I see it happening soon, as in No Surrender.

Tag Team Championships: I fully, 100% see Karen Angle becoming his partner. Others speculate that Kevin Nash could be it, but isn't Nash injured to the point of not being able to wrestle anymore? Furthermore, Nash isn't exactly the type to wanna be under-shadowed. He loves doing the promos & skits.. but when it comes to wrestling, I doubt he'd wanna be the weak-link of the team. As far as who could possibly become the next Champions.. I see it being between any number of teams, such as.. L.A.X., The Steiner Brothers, Triple X, or even Team 3D. (just to get another team over by beating them) I could also see Shelley/Sabin, or even VKM.. but thats pretty much naming all the main teams.

My main choice would be the Steiner Brothers, just like it was stated above.. to give them one last Hoorah! I'd like to see it, & I'm sure a lot of others would too.

Finally....

T.N.A. Championship: I see Kurt Angle holding this Championship for a while. T.N.A. can match Angle up with anyone & sell it as a solid MOTY canidate. I think they'll build around Angle until they can land another top notch Superstar, such as Brock Lesnar, R.V.D. or Y2J, maybe even the Big Show. (dispite him claiming to be retired)

I think his first real big Main Event match will be against Sting, or Jeff Jarrett at Bound For Glory. The awesome thing about T.N.A. is they have more than one p.p.v. that could be considered their biggest one of the year. Bound For Glory has been deemed their Wrestlemania, yet Slammiversary is their reunion show, & Victory Road was their first 3 hour p.p.v.

I think that he will lose the X Division title to Black Machismo. I mean Kurt Angle.. and the X Division Title, c'mon..
I think that he will keep the tag titles. I also think that the most likely person to be his tag team partner is that Trademark dude.. but maybe it'll be Lesnar hopefullly(jkz)...
As for the TNA Worldheavyweight title, i think he will keep that.. he's like the triple h of tna. he gets whatever he wants. the first person to win all of the tna belts(simultanously).. but nonetheless i think that he will keep all his belts except the x division belt.

I take some slight exception to this.. just because both Kurt Angle & Triple H. are huge star calibar wrestlers. Why shouldn't they get everything they want? 90% of the fans love seeing either of these two. And as far as this goes.. Triple H. earned his spot long before he married into the business. I'll give slight edge to the fact that he's not gonna be punished as quickly, but then again, who's to say the McMahon family doesn't except 10-20 times as much from Triple H. to be respectful of the business, because of the position he's in.

And for Angle.. T.N.A. has a lot of talent that could be star calibar, but they're using Angle because he's the most known. T.N.A. is using Angle to be the *new face* of T.N.A. -- & before Angle, everyone was saying Jeff Jarrett was the Triple H. of T.N.A. because Jarrett owns the company.. but the fact is, all three wrestlers just want whats best for business. And for Triple H., Kurt Angle & even at times Jeff Jarrett.. they ARE whats best for their respective businesses.

Slight error.. I meant to say Jeff Jarrett is partial owner. I think his Father, Jerry, is actually the full owner. But I also know some lady named Dixie Carter is involved in part of it too.

Abyss tries to be like Mick Foley in the ring and the only person that can pull that off is him, how ANYONE could think he and Angle can pull of a match of the year is on some kind of drugs),

Not on drugs here. Abyss is very good in the ring. He has improved vastly since I've started watching TNA a few years ago. I didn't like his matches at first, but the man can put on a damn good show, without the thumbtacks and such. He is a very very believable big man in the ring. I'd dare say he is better at his character then Kane was ever at his character.

Angle is freaking Kurt Angle. He had the match of the year last year in my opinion against the Undertaker at No Way Out. How in the hell Shawn Michaels vs. Mr McMahon got that title at WM 22 was beyond me, and the Shawn Michaels marks really need to take a look outside of the box when it comes to wrestling. Kurt Angle carried Randy Orton through a piss poor feud last year as well. Kurt Angle has put on damn good matches so far in TNA with everyone he's been in the ring with.

I feel Abyss is criminally under rated, just because he is over that dreaded 6'4" mark that the IWC automatically assumes that anyone above it can't wrestle. No, Abyss can't do a cartwheel, moonsault, plancha elbow drop, but he can tell a story, and his moveset is large enough to make up for any holes in his offense.

Kurt Angle vs. Abyss is going to be a damn good match. But... It will probably get ruined by a run in by Banderas.

I agree that Abyss is very good in the ring, as a hardcore wrestler and in his big guy role. I think, although Angle may have a little bit of trouble performing certain moves, the two should have a good match. Judging from their match on iMPACT a while ago, they have very good chemistry and this fued may only be a month long, but it'll be a good one. I doubt Abyss'll win the World Title again just yet. Banderas, after being built up so much, will probably play a part in it.

The X Division Title. I think Black Machismo will get it. Jay Lethal is getting raped by his own gimmick and it would be a joke to have him as champion as long as he's got a gimmick as stale as Eric Young's. He's still the absolute shit in the ring, it's just a shame people can't take him seriously now. If I had my vote, I'd have Senshi have the X Title, but that won't be happening any time soon. I think Angle will drop this title on iMPACT some time soon. It won't come as a big surprise.

The Tag Titles. Maybe "Dr." Nash is a contender for Angles' tag partner? I'd like to see him align himself with AJ Styles, Robert Roode or Christian Cage, even if it is just for one night. Needless to say, he'll lose these babies soon after the X Division title, probably to Ron Killings and Pacman Jones, even though LAX and MCMG look ready to take the tag world by storm. Shame.

OneBigWill, Jeff Jarrett is partial owner of TNA Entertainment. His father, Jerry Jarrett, sold his share a while ago. Panda Energy bought up his shares and now they are, for all intents and purposes, owners.

I don't know why you people are acting like Angle is god or something, wait for them to bring in Lesner, or Jericho or RVD then have him lose to them. How about have him lose to great talents already in TNA
1. Christian Cage- is the only WWE "regect" who lives up to the hipe and has exceeded it.
2. Wildcat Chris Harris- Great in ring talent and is over with the fans, its a shame they have him feuding with Dustin Rhodes(or Runnels that family's name changes all the time)
3. Samoa Joe- He probably won't receive the title until he resigns cause they''d give him a long run
4. Christopher Daniels- He is awesome, defiantly world title material and is really good as both heel and face
5. Abyss- How you can say he has no talent is blasphemy he's had some really good matches with a lot of guys, the sting feud was kinda stale but if you saw any of his other matches you'd know he is good and is so over as a face right now
6. The Phenomenal AJ Styles- I shouldn't have to explain it but i'll go ahead anyways just incase you don't know to much. The first TNA triple crown winner(x-title 6 times, TNA/NWA title-3 times, NWA/TNA tag team-4 times), the best in ring wrestler in the world right now(yes better than Kurt and Joe)

Continued-Part of the best match ever in my opinion(unbreakable three way). IF you say why he's only a lacky well he is most likely to just set up a feud with Cage and then go back to being a highly over face. He is one of the most underused talents right now and it is a damn shame.

i put TNA/NWA because they are acting as if both are the same currently as ron killings said he was a 2 time TNA champion, which was the NWA title at the time so yeha they are both the same unless stated otherwise. Good day all those three "proven" stars are not needed they have the guys who can carry the company right infront of them its only a matter if they choose to use em correctly.

Oh and don't forget about double J, he is so over right now and WILL win the title at Bound for Glory from Angle, mark my words.
