I'm going to stick with what I've said in either thinking he'll lose the X-Division & Tag Team Championships.. or he'll retain all three at the up-coming p.p.v.
T.N.A. is not in a great place with all their Championships on one guy, who has a recent history of health concerns. Plus, it completely takes away from giving ANY other T.N.A. superstar the chance to shine with a Championship. So this is my theory on how the Championships will end up going.
X-Division Championship: Dispite wanting Christopher Daniels to win it again, he's already a 'household' name. (to T.N.A. fans) Jay Lethal fought & fought to win the title from Saban, only to lose it at that following Impact! So I can see them allowing Lethal to recapture the Championship & hold it for a bit. Other stars in the division I'd expect to see shine are Alex Shelley & Kazarian. As far as when Angle will drop this.. I see it happening soon, as in No Surrender.
Tag Team Championships: I fully, 100% see Karen Angle becoming his partner. Others speculate that Kevin Nash could be it, but isn't Nash injured to the point of not being able to wrestle anymore? Furthermore, Nash isn't exactly the type to wanna be under-shadowed. He loves doing the promos & skits.. but when it comes to wrestling, I doubt he'd wanna be the weak-link of the team. As far as who could possibly become the next Champions.. I see it being between any number of teams, such as.. L.A.X., The Steiner Brothers, Triple X, or even Team 3D. (just to get another team over by beating them) I could also see Shelley/Sabin, or even VKM.. but thats pretty much naming all the main teams.
My main choice would be the Steiner Brothers, just like it was stated above.. to give them one last Hoorah! I'd like to see it, & I'm sure a lot of others would too.
Finally....
T.N.A. Championship: I see Kurt Angle holding this Championship for a while. T.N.A. can match Angle up with anyone & sell it as a solid MOTY canidate. I think they'll build around Angle until they can land another top notch Superstar, such as Brock Lesnar, R.V.D. or Y2J, maybe even the Big Show. (dispite him claiming to be retired)
I think his first real big Main Event match will be against Sting, or Jeff Jarrett at Bound For Glory. The awesome thing about T.N.A. is they have more than one p.p.v. that could be considered their biggest one of the year. Bound For Glory has been deemed their Wrestlemania, yet Slammiversary is their reunion show, & Victory Road was their first 3 hour p.p.v.
