Kroenke Parody

shazam

Annnnnnnnnd boom goes the dynamite!
I know that there is already a thread about all of the drama between the WWE and The Pepsi Center/Stan Kroenke, but this thread is about something that we all know was going to happen since this whole thing started. The WWE and mainly Vince McMahon don't take these kind of situations lightly and for some reason they feel the need to use there show's time on stupid sketches, for example Donald Trump vs Rosie O'Donnell and Barrack Obama vs Hillary Clinton.

There is only two ways I see this going and I don't really like either of them. The lesser of two evils would be that they start off the show with some kind of backstage parody (ex: Shelton Benjamin and Trish Stratus making fun of Terrell Owens and the chick from Desperate Housewives from their Monday Night Football sketch). This wouldn't be that bad, but I'd be willing to bet that it would just be boring, not funny, and just a waste of time.

The other way that I think this will go is that they do some sort of in ring thing like I referenced before. Maybe someone that looks like Kroenke(IDK what he looks like) would come out and make fun of the fans of something then someone would come out and beat him up alittle, maybe even Vince himself. Or they have some kind of stupid match between "Kroenke" and Vince or some other superstar. If anything happens in the ring it is going to be along the lines of Trump/Rosie or Obama/Clinton.

Don't get me wrong, I used to really like when things like this happened, DX dressing up like the Nation, making fun of WCW before shows, Stone Cold driving almost every kind of vehicle to the ring, Kurt Angle and his milk truck. I really looked forward to see what they would come up w/ next, but now I can not stand knowing something like this is more than likely going to happen.

These things use to be creative and not just funny, but fun. Now it is a chore to sit through them. I know people have high hopes for this upcoming Raw, as do I, but if there ends up not being ANY kind of Kroenke parody I'm going to consider it a good Raw.

They just announced on Superstars that McMahon is going to call Kroenke out on Monday night. I foresee McMahon calling Kroenke a bad businessman and having some other choice words for him, and then maybe a Kroenke parody will come out and McMahon will beat him up so he can stroke his own ego.

I think we're supposed to forget Vince got punted by Orton and that's why he was gone, but while he's there, I wonder if maybe he'll get involved with the 10 man tag match?

You knew it was going to happen. This is why I hate Vince and am at times ashamed to be a wrestling fan. No one, and I mean NO ONE wants to see this. It'll waste ten minutes of our time and won't be funny at all. No one on earth believes he'll really be there, so what's the point? The point is Vince is an insecure old man that has to get the "last laugh" every time. Instead of getting a PPV caliber show, we're getting at least this and the Nuggets/Lakers match to end the show. A ten man tag is nothing special. This might as well be SNME, but the new oens the suck. This whole thing is going to be a waste of time and I'm sure we'll all hate it.

Oh but of course. Vince can't keep himself from doing something like this. and WWE.com has announced at least one of these promos. Maybe they'll keep it at that, and the Lakers/Nuggets match. Which, conveniently enough, has the Heels on the Nuggets team. Guess who's going to win, the faces or the heels. Hopefully Cena will take the brunt of the work for the Faces. He's the best worker on that side.

Somehow, someway, Vince is going to make this more painful to watch than the Obama/Clinton matches he had. I'm not looking forward to it, but there is a chance it'll be funny. A slight chance, but a chance.

Hey JGlass14 have you been watching Monday Night raw since "Vince got punted by Orton"? because Mr.McMahon returned since then, you know with Triple H and Shane McMahon to confront the legacy and Randy Orton right before Wrestlemania 25. Also the night after Wrestlemania he had a match with Randy Orton, Batista returned and he announced his replacement as Batista at Backlash.... Just letting you know that it wasn't the last time Mr.McMahon appeared on raw when he got his head punted by Randy Orton.

I'm sure I'll hate this too. I didn't like the Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama parody and any other parody they have ever done so this will be no different.

I just don't get why Vince has to waste precious air time on things like this when he could be putting on things that fans will actually enjoy. He has gotten a lot of media attention, which we know he loves, so what else does he want? A lot of people have taken his side and I understand that he must be pissed about the whole debacle but this is not the way to go on about things. As a matter of fact all of the positive media attention he has gotten is just going to be tarnished if he does this because he will just be mocked for putting a stupid thing like this on the air.

I agree with KB that he is an insecure Old Man that always has to get the last laugh, even though they Kroenke people have already stated that they aren't going to continue with everything that is going on.

Hilarious WWE/Kroenke Press Release Leaks Online
Written by: Tim Brown - May 21st, 2009

In the latest fallout from Denver Nuggets owner Stan Kroenke screwing over WWE, a press release that Kroenke Sports wrote and wanted WWE to release has leaked online via TMZ. The press release, written by Kroenke, reads "By all accounts, Mr. (Stanley) Kroenke is one of the most respected professional sports team owners in the world.”

The release continues: “The professional way he and his staff good-naturedly handled this conflict gives further testament to the type of business leader he is."

Kroenke offered to let WWE tape RAW on Sunday night to air on Monday, but the condition was that they would be forced to issue the aforementioned press release written by Kroenke Sports.

While nothing is confirmed, the chances of WWE being the ones who leaked this to TMZ are very high.

Don't mean to spam but I thought that this adds alittle to what we were talking about. The last line is the one that really got me. Does the WWE/Vince really need to stoop as low as leaking a press release? I mean Raw will be in LA and game 4 is in Denver, it's done, whatever parody(s) are gonig to happen are going to happen. Let us suffer through the crap that is gonig to be on tv and leave the high school drama alone already.

TMZ posted that a while ago, on the other hand Vince McMahon read the document that was posted on TMZ, during the press conference earlier today in New York Hard Rock Cafe. So you would rather Vince McMahon kiss Mr. Kroenke's ass and praise him by reading
"Mr. Kroenke is one of the most respected professional sports team owners in the world, and the professional way he and his staff good-naturedly handled this conflict gives further testament to the type of business leader he is."
Vince McMahon just wanted everybody to know that he was asked to apologize (he was invited to the Nuggets vs Lakers game to apologize in person i might add, which was told by ESPN and the nuggets) and kiss Stan Kroenke's ass by reading this. Only an idiot and a person without any dignity would sign that document and kiss Mr.Kroenke's ass.

Not at all, I don't think Vince should do anything that in anyway would give Kroenke any sense of victory or Vince/WWE backing down. I agree w Vince that he got screwed and the Pepsi Center and Kroenke epicly messed up. But the sides were drawn as soon as word of this got out. You are going to have people that think the WWE should get the arena and people that think game 4 should get the arena, more than likely those people are fans of the one they support and aren't going to back down, which means no reasoning w either side. Vince won't apologize b/c he didn't do anything wrong, and even if he did he still wouldn't, and Kroenke isn't going to apologize b/c that would be admitting failure as the man in charge.

All I'm complaining about is that it was released and talked about at a press conference. It takes an absolute idiot to think that Vincent Kennedy McMahon is going to bow down to anyone besides the man in the mirror, but I feel that he could have simply and privately said no and whatever other choice words that he has for Kroenke and his "good-natured staff".

I am pretty sure that the whole point of the McMahon calling out Kroenke thing isn't targeting the traditional WWE fans. It's going to be a segment aimed at all the people that wouldn't watch Monday Night Raw normally, but are going to just to see what's going to happen because of all the media hype.

I would wager that most basketball fans that are going to be watching the playoff game are gonna definitely want to tune into Raw to see what happens, even if they won't admit it.

So yes, I do agree that its going to be an annoying segment or segments for us traditional fans, but to hell with us. This is an opportunity to get ratings. Why not take it?

I´m pretty sure that Vince is going to dress some development wrestler ( poor guy ) like that Kroenke guy and will beat him down or put him into a very embaressing situation and maybe we will yet again get some TNA chants or even better Nugget chants xDD

Ur right in each point you make, I shudder to think what lame ass skit they'll put on, although I'll shit myself if Kroenke himself shows up... As for the sketches ur right as well, they don't work as well because one: the execution and IMO by the end of the attitude era they were done to death any way...
