Kizarny the Carny

I'm fairly certain that he won't have an "edge" and that he'll just be todays cartoon style wrestler. I don't think he'll be a monster heel and that he's probably meant for a younger audience. WWE is going back to what it was in the early/mid 90s. He's a modern version of Doink or Repo Man or someone like that -- someone that we are supposed to buy into a gimmick of him actually being a carnival worker who also happens to be a wrestler. I do like his look and I hope they DON'T make a a joke character, but unfortunately that's where I see this heading.

I watched him wrestle against Colt Cabana and it was a solid match I hope they don't mees up on this gimmick it could make him WHC champion eventually.

His finisher the Tallulah Belle (double under DDT with body scissors) is amazing. His promo skills are actually better than on the commercial he uses English and Carnie, so he will be hated on WWE.

If you want to see him wrestle go to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oztgqgHuCe0

Whether he's a good wrestler or not, he'll only be successful if his gimmick gets over. And quite frankly, his gimmick reminds me a Boogeyman type gimmick, squashing jobbers and going no further than that. His in-ring ability, which is impressive dictates he could be successful, but I honestly believe his gimmick will only take him but so far.

Kizarny had a shizitty dizebut.

I haven't seen his FCW stuff, but I hope for his sake he just had the jitters and doesn't consistently perform the way he did last Friday night. Otherwise, he's going to become future endeavored in 09.

The entrance music fits him, obviously, but they could maybe tweak it a little bit. Carnival music for a carnival guy makes perfect sense, but the song itself is a little bland for an entrance. Now I'm not one of those "everything has to be loud rock" guys, but even Doink's music was rather energetic. And his entrance itself is bland with him just spinning around. Entrances don't make the man, but that's an area he needs improvement in anyway.

His DDT finisher, wherein the person doesn't get DDT'ed....nope, not working for me.

The promos were terrible and I hope he doesn't get on the mic anytime soon.

He was very sloppy throughout the whole match and it seemed like the crowd just couldn't get into cheering the guy. Probably half the reason was because we were so damn tired of seeing his vignettes.

All in all, if Kizarny stays the way he was on Friday, I can't see him lasting long. If he improves drastically, he might have a spot as a midcarder for two years or so before the gimmick gets so old and the inevitable heel turn doesn't work and he's released. I can't see him being any type of champion unless they tag team him up with Boogeyman or something and have them run for the tag titles, calling themselves The Freak Show or something.

I actually don't mind the guy myself. While I hate the "Carnie talk" promos and find them to be a distraction, I kind of am intrigued by his look and the potential the character may have. I wish they would have went for a darker persona, possibly heel because I think the character would be better suited. I think it would be a mistake to make him a huge joke like Doink or the Boogeyman. As for the in ring work, it was very sloppy and he seemed to miss a few spots but this could be nerves since his work in FCW was decent. I don't think it will be his in ring ability that will get him over, it will be his character and personality if anything. All in all I like that the WWE build his debut but they should tweak the character and give it more of an edge since cartoony characters rarely get over and become solid stars that have the chance to be big.

I'm not really a fan of Kizarny. First off, I hate his look. When he popped up on the screen, my first thought was "who's this feral". I decided to give him a chance though. His match was MVP wasn't very good. MVP carried the match, yet he's the one who lost the match. Kizarny's gimmick is awful, in my opinion. Some people like it because it's unique, and I won't deny that. But the guy showed a few good moves, but nothing more. I think his character may work better as a heel, but I'm not 100% certain on that.

I don't think Kizarny will ever make it big due to his poor gimmick and his look. He looks like a heel, which is why I find it awkward rooting for the guy. I personally think he won't be successful in the WWE and won't last long. But that's just my personal opinion. He seems decent in the ring, but he has a lot of room for improvement. I'm not a fan of his mic work or his gimmick and therefore I think Kizarny will be a complete flop. I think only a heel turn might save his WWE career.

I wasn't impressed with Kizarny either. His look creeps me out and he was very sloppy in the ring. If MVP wasn't in a losing storyline, I believe he should have won the match. I'll give Kizarny the benefit of the doubt since this was his first match. Hopefully he show move improvement to pick up the slack of R-Truth.
