Kingdom Come V - Zeus vs. Sandy Discussion

At first sight, most new members of the WZCW roster take time to transition into the company but it seemed Dr. Zeus already had one goal before even taking his first step - to find out where the Steven Kurtesy has been hiding. Unfortunately for his former confidant Sandy Deserts, she has become the target for Zeus' rampage that has terrorised the roster and will continue to be until she reveals the location of the former doctor. Although Sandy has been avoiding the answer to this question, she has nowhere else to run as Zeus finally get his match against her where Sandy has seemingly promised Zeus the answer should he be able to defeat her. Given his current undefeated streak and Sandy's few wins in WZCW, it is all but confirmed that Zeus will finally get to the bottom of his investigations.​

Zeus wins this. He outlasted myself & Sandy in a triple threat, then he went and beat Blade. Honestly, the guy is on such a hot run, we've not such a great debut in a while. There's really isn't much more to say other than, as much as Sandy might put into this, she won't be able to beat the Doctor.

Prediction - Dr Zeus wins.

To be completely honest, my run with Sandy thus far has been terrible and this feud with Zeus has been a saving grace for me - I'm forced to step up my game because Zeus is the hottest thing in WZCW and considering my performance as Sandy, I need to get back to my prime almost instantly. I'm going to give this my best shot as I've saved this RP for a very long time... I mean, since I created the Sandy character (4 years ago)... so I'll see how its going to work out, whilst adding some current spice to the feud, but... c'mon, its Zeus. You'd be crazy, stupid or trying to get some perks to vote for me.

Prediction: Zeus

Well, now that the Vegas odds are coming out about this feud, let me tell you brother;

A source in the company told me the everyone's aware of the infamous /chan poster, Dolphins1972. So, they're all leaking that Zeus will win this match, in an attempt to swerve the fans. But really, Zeus plans to no show, and Sandy's gonna win, so that Dolphins looks like a fool.

Um, fuck, I didn't know even my opponent feels this way. I gotta caution you all right now, if Falkon has had something stored up for four years, it's gotta be pretty good. After all, RPs are just like wine, gotta let them age. If he's been holding on to this idea for years, it means it's probably one of his better ideas, and that he's been waiting for the right opponent.

I'm honored to be that opponent; I'm also scared shitless. Meanwhile, I worry this RP may disappoint people, because I want it to be a little shorter. Read; I don't want it to have less content, just less backstory and shorter. But this round is meant to develop something... Different. And if Falkon is getting into his prime, God knows what I'm in for.

If this is your attempt at being modest it's not working. You're the guy that beat Ty last year when he was basically an out of control locomotive. You've pretty much destroyed any chance of anyone underestimating you. I know that if you were to bring your best like you did last year Zeus wouldn't have a chance [and that's not a knock on him in the slightest.] That being said, having read your RP's with Sandy, I can why you would feel overwhelmed, and that's because your RP's with Sandy aren't as good as your RP's with Kurtesy. And this is coming from the guy that was your partner for the majority of 2012.

Zeus is hot right now, and you may have dug yourself a similar hole like I did against Crock chasing the Elite X title. It'll take something special for you to win.

That being said, Zeus, if you experiment at KC you probably won't win. Stick to what you know. If you don't want to write something as mastodonic don't, but stick to what you know.

I won't call it experimenting, as much as it will be "editing", if we're being honest. I'm going to be more judicious on exactly how much backstory is used. So yeah, maybe experimenting is the wrong word.

Trust me, I have a feeling that I'm getting Sandy's A-game; I wouldn't be shocked if I were getting more Kurtesy, than I was Sandy, if that makes any sense

With all the hype and based on the little Zeus I've read (haven't gotten to the KC RP yet) I have to give him the edge here, although Sandy Deserts is certainly a capable opponent.

Now that both RP's are in, it's fair to say hat this version of Sandy Deserts is absolutely awesome. I know that some people feel the actual feud has been a little one sided, but this, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call a payoff. This changes everything; this very easily could be the most violent match on the card, war games notwithstanding. I'm so glad to see this Sandy Deserts arrive, but I think if you've been following the progression, than you had to know this was going to be the end game. Well... Part of the end game....

The only thing I'm willing to predict is blood. Blood, and lots of it.
