Kharma gone for 9 Months?

At first I wasn't sure what to make of it but im intrigued to see what happens next. I think Kharma could sucker them all in and pick them off one by one.

Well, what I think they are doing is making Kharma's character have a split personality, which would explain why she attacked both heel & face divas. If this is what they're doing, it should be interesting

Exactly how I think it'll happen, she's acting like a big softy who isn't as tough as she seems so the diva's will no longer go hiding so it gives Kharma a chance to confront more at a time and destroy them in bunches instead of solo.

It was bad booking.

For weeks she comes out and beats people up , and now she breaks down and cries because the divas wont accept her. That to me killed everything that was great about her.

I dont need to see where it goes from here because the minute i see someone who is portrayed as a MONSTER start to CRY , i lose respect and credibility i have for her

This obv has to do with the anti bullying thing they been talking about alot lately. Picking kharma as the person to do it ruined it for me.

Dunno how you guys can see it any other way.

it can create a back story to kharma and maybe something happened to her in her past and she is lashing out the pain and suffering she was put through by the "pretty'' girls or something like that

So would you rather she come out and be totally one dimensional and just beat people up every week? That got old with nexus and that would have gotten old with kharma. they're adding an extra layer to her character and it will pay off in the long run. she's not just a monster, she's calculating, smart, and also fucking nuts. just because she cries doesnt mean she's a big pussy, it means she's a LUNATIC.

stop jumping the gun and watch the damn show, dude. Kharma ain't turnin face and she ain't gettin all cuddly anytime soon.

You know there was this one guy who was one dimensional and just beat people up .. his name was Goldberg and it worked pretty well.

The divas NEED that kind of person to make people interested. But Whatever

Lord the posts on here are just plain funny sometimes. It's called a story. Why would the WWE make a character invisible and give senseless beatings? That stuff has been done to death in wrestling.

So she broke down and cried? So what? It's the very beginning of the story. She couldn't go out and beat the hell out of the Diva's and than start a feud. That would have gotten boring and stale. At least with her breaking down emotionally it brings more to the table story wise. Give it a chance. Hey maybe she's got a split personality. haha.

Besides at least with her breaking down it's creating more buzz. You created a thread about it right? Which means it's working.

Yeah, but Goldbergs gimmick wasnt that of a nutjob. It was clear from her vignettes that Kharmas character is that of a deranged monster.

If you re-watch the segment and turn up the volume, you can clearly hear what Kharma says. "I just want you to like me. I just want you all to like me." I believe that this is WWE's anti-bullying storyline. The large, "ugly" Diva that has been picked on all her life by the small, "pretty" Divas is seeking acceptance from the "pretty" Divas. As to where it goes from here, I have no clue, but I am interested to find out.

your right I just re-watched it and thats exactly what she said I dont know where they go from here but I am intrigued not so much critical but intrigued. It would seem as if they are trying to give her some depth to her character. I guess we will have to see. I am especially excited because I will hopefully see it play out next week live in my home town.

Holy Sh!t, you're right. Right at the end, you can mouth out, "I just want you to like me." I knew a return of a credible divas division was too good to be true. They're doing what they did with Kane in 2004; beating the Hell out of whatever moves, but you really just want a life of normalcy. I'm not saying this angle is bad(if they go this direction, because it seems they're doing this for their B.A.* crap), but they didn't need to do it. 6 weeks of great booking, possibly leading to some great feuds, thrown out the window. Ah well. Let's hope WWE is just jacking with us.

What are they doing with Kharma? They're doing the same thing they've been doing with every good idea. It's the WWE. They fuck it up. They make it stupid and they kill it. End of story.

Personally, I think WWE's goal is to make it seem like this monster does have a downside. But, once the Divas accept it she kills them all one by one, of course with them not noticing. After a victim, she can do this little breakdown thingy.

I really hope she pulls off an insane gimmick, since she's been laughing like a lunatic the past few weeks. I don't think WWE is stupid enough to waist her size and talent - but then again, they wasted Natalya, so you never know. I'd say, for now, be intrigued. It looks like they're going somewhere with it.

had to talk on this when i first saw it (i havent gone past your post yet..) Seriously though you spell wasted right, but spell "waste" wrong... Waste means what you think it means.. The waist is what's on your human body... I know its annoying to point out spelling mistakes on the internet, but seriously I get annoyed by stupid things like this... (like the thread elsewhere talking about kane should dawn the mask... instead of don the mask... but i digress....

I do hope this leads to somewhere as I too felt that she would go out, the heels would leave and she'd be left with eve beth gail and kelly kelly... They would come like a ninja movie and shed destroy each of them one by one with increasing damage until it was her and beth face to face... She'd get beth upside down for the finisher, but then kelly would come in and break it up... Beth would drop and go on the attack setting kharma up for beth's finisher before eve would return and destroy beth.. Then kharma would grab beth while eve grabs kelly kelly and they hit finishers at the same time and walk out together..

thats what i was hoping, but I'm not going to judge that this was a failure until we hear more... I'm still being a little pessimistic about it though

I hope this shows layers to her psychotic character. Kind of like Mick Foley. I hope they don't turn her face and give her a makeover. Then have Satino or Great Khali be involved with her in a love affair. I was pissed at first to see her cry because monsters don't cry. Brock Lesnar wouldn't kick ass and then sit in the ring and cry. Hopefully this is judt a taste of things to come.

While I am intrigued, and hope that the wwe is planning something big for her. i loved her former role. coming out and destroying divas while they shook in fear made her seem awsome. I thought she was the next big thing. Please do not let us all down again wwe. Ill give you a chance, but history has shown, you blow those pretty easily.

I think they WWE is hinting at the whole "bullying issue" We see that foundation the WWE setup. I think it has to do with trying to teach little kids that if you stand up to a bully, they will often break down and show insecurity....thats just what I think

Plus I feel this segment didnt make too much sense because before, kharma would just come out and clean house. she never made any attempts at being liked. In this case the bullying thing doesnt even make sense because she has been the one being the bully. So why would she turn to be the victim now? why would she even offer her hand to them after what shes done? i think they should have all jumped her, she takes all of them out except for maybe one or two and forces them to join sides with her as she sweeps through the divas division until a new diva challenger comes. besides that, im still waiting to see how she eventually competes

Kharma ALREADY had our attention.

Now everyone is rolling their eyes waiting for WWE to fuck up again

No, WWE did the smart thing by making Kharma more than just a monster. Because look at her time in TNA. She gained people's attention in TNA too just like she is now, but eventually it would've gotten old like it did in TNA, and after awhile Kong had to lose more and more which made her a normal Knockout. Atleast WWE's being smart enough to work around this and add some drama and feeling to her character before it starts getting too repetitive, which I've heard quite a few people say that it's already starting to become.

And here I thought Kharma was going to be the destructive force of nature/Nexus of the Divas Division. That segment on RAW ruined what was an awesome refreshing diva character. Why does the WWE do things that nobody likes? The crowd didn't like it. IWC didn't like it. It's just stupid booking for what was the most popular diva. Thanks WWE. You just ruined the dream of Kharma being this destructive beast destroying all the divas and Beth having to be the heroine to step up to her and finally challenge her in an epic showdown. Thanks WWE.

Yeah I saw the 8 divas in the ring but with Beth standing strong in the front of the ring , I was kind of hoping Kharma would thrash through the other 7 and then go for Beth who would then pull a goku and come out with the upper hand with Kharma retreating looking shocked

Here's some Psychology 101 for you.

When you have a monster gimmick, when you have a man or a woman who you want the fans to perceive as an unstoppable wrecking machine, when you have a crazy big-ass black bitch that destroys bimbos at the drop of a hat YOU DON'T LET HER CRY IN THE MIDDLE OF A FUCKING RING! You don't show the people that she has any emotion other than uncontrollable anger. That's what sells, that's what makes the character good.

Giving monster heels TV time to showcase their emotions is a wrong move. It kills the character and destroys it to the point of little to no return. Don't believe me? Let me give you an example.

Abyss. Abyss was a monster heel. A wrecking ball with feet. Now answer me this - when did Abyss start sucking and losing steam? When they made him a coward scared of his own shadow. Cowards - FEAR. The Abyss character was dead. Even now, a year or two later he's still trying to rebuild that aura of destruction he had, and he's not very good at it.

If Goldberg cried in the middle of the ring, surrounded by the nWo his career would end before the first tear hit the canvas.

If Umaga cried in the middle of the ring that was it for him. Donezo.

Look at all the monsters in this business who were humanized. They're all jokes now. Kozlov, Khali, Big Show. They're not monsters anymore, they're not dominant anymore. They're comedy relief, they have no credibility, they have nothing going on.

WWE fanboys can try to twist it in many different ways to make it look logical and good, but the truth is - it's not. The character is ruined. It's done. The momentum is over - bitch better get ready to start jobbing and be a part of Santino's segments. Way to go.

McMahon is going bananas. The guy just doesn't know what's going on anymore, he's lost any touch he had, any vision of what's good or not. This is one more example in a sea of examples. Too bad for Kong, yes KONG, she could've been something. Alas - welcome to the WWE, "Kharma". Your credibility and career just took a nose dive, DESPITE the fact that you're working for the biggest company in the world.

I don't think all hope is lost just yet for Kharma. Maybe it was poor booking to have her cry, but you have to ask yourself whether she would have stayed sat crying if any of the divas had have gone near her in that ring. I personally doubt it, she came across to me as a woman on the edge. Before this weeks Raw Kharma would have had to have beaten any Diva she was put against for it to be believable after the way she came onto the scene, and maybe the WWE are preparing to put her into a sustainable feud, which realisticly couldn't have worked before. I could be wrong, it could be dead and buried before it even started which would be a real shame, but at least now when she is put into a actual match it will (just about) be believable that there is some possibility that she might not completely destroy her opponent, because of whatever psychological weakness she apparently has. After all, nobody likes predictability, right?

I figured it would happen--Nobody with a history in TNA has gotten any kind of a real push in WWE..(took Ron Killings about 5 years to get one). Probably end up in a love triangle with Santino in one of those Ron Simmons DAMN segments. Bertha Faye, here we go again!
