Kharma and her role in WWE's Diva division

I don't think that most fans will boo her. Kharma is EXACTLY what the division needs. Something different. She can easily dominate the division and many fans are tired of the models who are hired to be female WRESTLERS when all they know is how to stand around looking "hot". Michelle McCool is taking time off, so Kharma will likely become the new focus of the division. I think she will be cheered for being an anti-diva because something different such as her character will finally make the matches a bit more interesting. Whether she remains dominant or randomly stops being seen on screen, that depends on how over she gets.

This is something interesting. She's someone that can change the division but at the end of the day I'm afraid we're going to see Eve or Layla or Kelly taking her down via a fluke which isn't the right ending. Actually wait. Yes it is the right ending. Gail Kim is a small woman and yet they managed to make her matches with Kong believable. There's nothing wrong with having them take her down eventually. that's how every monster has ever worked and it's how it'll work here. Nothing wrong with it at all.

So KHARMA aka Awesome Kong Just made her RAW Debut and last night she attacked Michelle Mc Cool and now Maryse
so WWE made her a face do you think it was wise of them to make her a face instead of a heel your thoughts.

I don't think she is a face. I think WWE is trying to make an impression of Kong as a destroyer. I think her purpose is to destroy everyone in her path and make a purpose. If the WWE is trying to make her a face, then they need to do better to convince me because she does not seem like she is all fun & games to me right now. I think WWE is trying to sell a "I WILL DOMINATE THE DIVA'S DIVISION" type of gimmick with Kong.

It's hard for me to tell. She taunted Kelly Kelly like a heel,but destroyed Maryse like a face. What do you think she is? I mostly think she is a face,but going heel every now and then like Undertaker.

Really don't care what side she is on, just as long as they keep the pretenders out of the ring and allow Kharma to destroy all of them. I haven't been this excited to watch a diva's match since the Mickie James/Trish Stratus feud. I personally think Kharma will be a Tweener.

My guess is that she's kind of a monster face, something we don't see a lot of. I mean, her name is Kharma and she is attacking heel Divas, it actually makes sense as opposed to just throwing the name on her just because it sounds cool.

I could see her being a heel as well, simply because she's huge and could literaly crush every chick on the roster. But this idea of her being face is intriguing, nonetheless.

If she's suppose to be a heel, the general audience doesn't know it. Just the fact that she's finally arrived and is destroying useless Divas is enough to get her a pretty good pop.

She got a pretty warm reception when her music/video hit. I think this will continue because she is physically imposing, she's not a blonde ditz like everyone else, and no one really cares about the other divas.

I'd say as of right now Kharma is a technical face, because it was a heel she just destroyed. Kelly Kelly only added feul that this was a woman you don't wanna f* with. That's all. Maybe next week will be different but from what I can tell she is a face because it was Maryse that she laid waste too.

It's 2011, the definition of heel isn't "cheats" and the definition of face isn't "does everything right". Just have her be her, a mean ass big black lady who beats the shit out of barbie dolls. some might cheer, some might boo, but it's interesting enough that most people will feel something one way or another.

Personally I think she'll get a face reaction because wrestling fans don't give a shit out of the blondies. Not because they can't wrestle or some shitty IWC explanation, but because the blonde girls aren't anything other than semi pretty and blonde. No emotional connection at all and they all look alike. Kharma is interesting and different.

the ONLY time I can really remember a monster babyface working for a sustained period of time is the Undertaker, and he's one of the best workers ever. So they'll definately have to tweak things. I like that she didn't beat up Kelly Kelly, adds more intrigue to it other than just "o, she beats up the pretty girls".

I don't know what to think but all I know is I have favorite female wrestler for the first time in a long time. I guess either way could work because most of the divas best talent are their looks so maybe she could just destroy them all.

Your comment made me think...First I will say before I continue with my thought is that I hope Kharma remains a tweener to serve solely as an executioner for the "divas" earlier you said she attacked divas who thought they were all that. This intrigues me because if that is true and she sticks with that M.O is she is eventually going to go after Beth and Natalya
It was only a few years ago that Beth thought she was the enbodiment of a diva possessing strength,power and beauty beating up lesser Divas along the way. Kharma could be used as a foil to Beth as payback for her past actions. Just not too soon though a feud between those two with that type of framework would be great.

Natalya it was just a few years ago where natalya formed a partnership with victoria and they were picking on lesser divas and after all natalya did used to say "you mess with the best you go down like all the rest" they could take that and run with it.

In the meantime I think Melina will be next on her list with the Bellas soon to follow but as I stated earlier I would like for her to remain neutral kind of like the Judge and executioner on every diva who she finds in the wrong.

I wouldn't call her a clear cut face but the crowd seemed to enjoy her. Tweener and then a full blown heel is what I think will happen. First time ever I have been into a divas segment.

I personally see her as a female version of the Undertaker. Undertaker has been known to just show up and destroy faces and heels at the same time.

I see face, and I actually think having Kharma take out Maryse but not Kelly was more powerful than if she had taken them both out. Focusing on the Kelly's face and then fear and presence that Kharma has made it that much more powerful. It's too early for this but I hope she takes out a bunch of the other divas and when she goes for Kelly have McIntyre save her. Most people wouldnt want to see it but it worked for Jericho when he feuded with Chyna, after that things got better for him. I'd like to see the same with D Mac. Also at some point one of the divas needs to approach Kharma to be her evil minion/sidekick.

Pretty sure she's just a monster heel feeding at every Diva in sight... in fact it just makes it seem like the heel divas she absolutely annihilates are victims and therefore seem like babyfaces while going out.

I will cheer for her whethet she's a face or not, simply because she beats up the other talentless bimbo divas. That's probably what the casual fan is thinking too. Vince probably knows this. So rather than having a heel that everyone cheers for (because thar's what would inevitably happen), maybe they just decided to make her a face.

I think she'll be a babyface because of her badassness. Nobody really likes the blonde clones. They're a piss break. So her destroying them is fun. Whoever puts up the first fight against her will get a big boost.

The only way I can see Kharma being a face for any kind of decent lengthed storyline is if like 7 divas go mean girls on her and sabotage her and then gang up to beat her up. Then Kharma picks them off one by one. Kharma isn't exactly a supermodel and so I can see that being a way she can draw sympathy (other divas calling her fat or whatever, I mean, if Vickie guerrero, who is fairly fit is called fat in the WWE then what is Kharma?). The sympathy would be even stronger knowing that after she gets back she can wreak hell on the divas who hurt her.

She seems to be going after the heel in the matches, but I see this trend changing with her not discriminating.
I kind of expect Kelly Kelly to face another random Barbie doll next week, and a repeat performance.

I think she will be a face for a short time and turn heel quickly. It would be a nice concept to have a tweener in the womens division though. I could actually see her being a full fledged face and putting Cole in his place. He trashes the womens division constantly. Could you imagine the fan reaction if he did that during one of her matches and she jerked his ass out of his little bubble and beat him up in the ring? She would be set for a long time as a face.

I do feel they are wanting to push Kelly Kelly though and I could see a rivalry on the horizon. I could actually see KK as the heel in that scenario though. No matter what they do, I don't think they will ever get the womens division back to where it was when Trish was here. Maybe Im just not ready to move on but the womens division died when Trish left imo.
