As foul-mouthed, down-on-his-luck pitcher Kenny Powers on HBO’s hit series Eastbound & Down, Danny McBride plays by his own rules – but then again, so do many of our Superstars once they get inside the squared circle. As such, the funnyman should be more than equipped to hold his own when he throws comedic curve balls as guest star of Monday Night Raw, emanating live from Seattle.

I still don't see why that show is considered to be so great. I watched the entire first season (all six episodes) and there were parts that were amusing, but no where near as funny as people try to say it is.

On a sidenote, I played in a softball game last night and the pitcher for the team I played on looked eerily similiar to Kenny Powers. He also ran his GD mouth like him....I wanted to scream at him "we get it dude, you're F'in IN!!"

I just ask that they let me wear the scream mask, the mask from scream as I take them from behind. Danny should do a decent job. He's a ball player and not an ape. He will probably be getting paid huge, like 15 notes. Anyways, Danny McBride is funny in some movies and bad in others. Maybe him or "Kenny Powers" will add some entertainment to Raw. Then again it could bomb.

Never seen the show, but McBride's funny. Although 90% of the jokes will go over the audience heads.

He was funny as hell in Pineapple Express. I hope he plays a heel. Not many of the host have been heels and the ones that have did a pretty shitty job.
