You've probably been asked something similar to this already, but here goes...

In a perfect world Reigns doesn't go on to face Lesnar for the Universal Title at Wrestlemania, who would you have him face instead?

I'd have Reigns win the title at the Rumble and beat Lesnar to retain.

If you cut that match out, Strowman defeats Reigns to finally win the title.

What is your number one pet peeve when it comes to wrestling?

Mine is when there is a feud between person A and person B, Person A is a champion usually IC Title and on a PPV person A loses the title to person B, so Person B is the new Champion, then on the next SmackDown or Raw, Person A wins the title again

I have several, but one would be explaining things to us like we're morons.

I don't need commentary spelling out every single little detail of every single little thing. I can see what's going on right in front of me and I'm not stupid.

In a tie, the lack of countouts or DQ's to get you out of a match. Not everything has to end with a pin or a fall. It's ok to have Miz lose by countout or DQ (that's why he has minions) instead of being pinned.

Hogan vs. Andre. As Jesse Ventura accurately said, "This is the biggest match in the history of professional wrestling."

Hart vs. Austin but there's a case to be made for Shawn vs. Undertaker I.

HHH vs. Orton.

I'd rather have that than some of the nonsense we have to sit through on single branded shows. The four hour part....not so much.

What's your opinion on the shock TV approach to wrestling? I'm not talking so much when it's done badly or overly sexual, but think WCW when the NWO was first a thing. The Eric Bischoff philosophy at its peak essentially.

Depends on where it goes. When it's to set up a big angle or a big match etc., it can work very well. When it's there because that's the only thing they know how to do and it's pretty clearly just to amuse themselves (like a lot of the Attitude Era), it's a waste of everyone's time.

While I don't know that much about Jarrett before TNA I know he got a decent amount of accomplishments in WWE and WCW and the fact that he founded arguably WWE's biggest (North American) competitor shows he has/had talent across the wrestling board. I mean people have got in on less.

Still annoyed at how much he hogged the NWA title during the early days of TNA though

Jarrett was a very smooth, safe hand back in his day and could work an excellent match with the right opponent (Razor Ramon and of course his classic with Shawn at In Your House II). After that though....not so much, though he did have some very good stuff in TNA.

As for hogging the title, it's the same reply you get from any wrestler who owns the company: who else can you trust with your top title other than yourself?
