Worldwide it's New Japan by miles and miles. In America, I'd actually put ROH above TNA. They're available to more viewers, they're more stable and they have quite a few recognizable names. They also run house shows and regular pay per views without being thrown off network after network.

After watching a few things on the WWE Network, I've been thinking about something. Something that maybe a wrestling historian like yourself can answer. Who, or what, was more important to the other – Hulk Hogan to the WWF/E or the WWF/E to Hulk Hogan?

I've been thinking about it and I don't think I can answer it. Would Hulk Hogan have been successful anyway without the stage that the WWF provided him? Conversely, would the WWF have been so successful without Hulk Hogan?

Hogan would have been successful, yes. He was already a big name in Japan and in the AWA. Crockett would have picked him up if Vince hadn't.

The WWF was going to take off with or without Hogan (David Von Erich was the backup plan if Hogan didn't come over) but I don't think they would have gotten nearly as high.

To answer your question, I'd say the WWF needed Hogan more than vice versa, but it's close.
