They could, though I'm not sure if they're capable of pulling that off. There's an interesting story there somewhere though.

Wouldn't it make more sense to build for a future showdown, started by the exchange they had at the end of RAW last week? ldeally, Reigns vs Lesnar 2, whenever it occurs, should take into consideration the 'growth' that Roman Reigns has obviously had since their Mania meeting.

Yep. You can build Reigns as the one that finally sealed the deal and the one that got away. Lesnar wants to prove that he can beat him and Reigns wants to prove that he's the best. It writes itself.

So, does that mean you're eagerly anticipating the Reigns vs Lesnar Tug of War #2? :p :lmao:

Why do you think it'll be Reigns/Lesnar II as opposed to Reigns/HHH at Mania? Wishful thinking?

Looking at the 2001 Rumble (and its build) - it seemed they were going to go for HHH/Austin for Mania that year, was that ever the plan or was it always Rock/Austin?

More than anything else yeah.

Nah it was always Rock vs. Austin, probably way before they locked eyes in the Rumble. Austin vs. HHH was a big feud but Austin vs. Rock was pure money and everyone knew it.

Rather than do the title tournament at Survivor Series and the Sheamus/Reigns/Vince stuff, should WWE have just waited to put the title up for grabs as a vacant title or is Reigns coming in at one to fight everyone a better scenario?

Any guesses for surprise entrants this year?

Can you think of anyone besides Stevie Richards who has appeared on television/PPV for WWE, WCW, ECW (original incarnation only), TNA, and ROH?

I'm no KB, but Mick Foley surely has? WWE, WCW, ECW and TNA speak for themselves but I'm sure he's done something for ROH.

Given he was off of the show last night with the Royal Rumble coming up, and I haven't seen a report of injury, is Ziggler on his way out of the company? Is it advisable for him to leave WWE altogether?

I was listening to a podcast about the WWE.com list of top 50 heels (probably one of their worst lists). A few questions regarding WWE/WCW heels:

1. How successful/impactful would a Hogan heel turn have been without him joining the NWO (basically he turns heel at about the same time, but as a individual performer)?

2. Where would you rank HBK as a heel?

3. Considering only crowd reactions and the number of people that pay to see him lose, could an argument be made that Cena is a top-20 heel of all time?

Do you think WWE will do something similar to last year booking-wise which could result in a Reigns victory and him being booed out the building once again? That seems to be the general thought on various wrestling sites I have visited.

Raven and Jerry Lynn.

Yeah him too.

I doubt it. Not likely.

It would have worked but nowhere near as well.

His stuff with Bret is awesome. The rest.....eh.

Nope. You have to actually be a heel in my eyes.

Nah. They clearly learned something with Reigns as soon as Mania.

Speaking of Terry Funk, I know he & his brother Dory have been inducted into the WWE HOF as a tag team, but do you think Terry should be inducted again for his singles career?

Do you see HBK & HHH becoming 2x Hall of Famers as well as Flair?

They both have had HoF worthy singles careers but I can't see DX not going into the HoF
